- Stephanie (4/5): Beautiful beach location, but the hotel itself was disappointing, unclean, and not worth the price. - The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the beach location and scenery, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, that had more to do with the area itself than the hotel experience. Other than that, there was very little about the hotel that stood out positively for me. The rooms were extremely small for the price, especially considering I booked a king suite, which I would not consider a true suite at all. The bed squeaked constantly, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Housekeeping was only provided every other day, and amenities were very limited. The towels had hair on them, which was very off-putting and made the cleanliness feel questionable from the start. Overall, the hotel room felt dirty and poorly maintained. The only toiletries provided were shampoo, conditioner, and body wash — no toothpaste or any extra amenities whatsoever. For the price paid, the experience was disappointing and the condition of the room felt neglected and unclean.

If you'll could use something not so strong to vacuum carpet with. It's very triggering for guest who have allergies or strong scents set them off. I know you'll like the hotel to smell good but if you could just tone it down or use something less fragrant and more subtle.

- sbfrench1 (2/5): Falsely Accused of smoking. - It’s actually a very nice place and friendly people but upon checkout our balance was $0. When I got home and checked my Visa, there was a charge for $267 when we called to see why they said they said there was some evidence of smoking on the patio. We are 77 years old, I have pancreatic cancer, I hate smoking. I hate smoke. I could not believe that they are doing this to us. It’s not like we have money to throw away or maybe that’s the way they make their money who knows anyways during the night we did smell bonfire were right on the beach maybe ashes from there went up there and she just jumped to conclusions which is not right. They have not yet cleared this up after one week and us calling. This is very bad. I’m seriously thinking of taking this made to court. It’s very upsetting to it.

Dogs are everywhere, carpets are stained and dirty, front desk agents sit on stools looking down, terrible problems with the elevator, breakfast is sparse, lobby looks disheveled with cords hanging out on the walls, and the craziest thing is you pick up/drop off pool towels at the check in desk so there’s water all over the floor from the desk all across the lobby to the pool door. I’ve never seen a hotel not have that outside where the pool actually is. A disappointing stay but the ocean was stunning.

Besonders empfehlenswert ist es, unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Meeressicht zu buchen, da die Lage direkt am Strand wirklich schön und ruhig ist. Die direkte Lage am Meer ist insgesamt ein grosser Pluspunkt des Hotels. Leider war die Hotelführung und der Service sehr enttäuschend. Es entstand deutlich der Eindruck, dass Buchungen über Drittanbieter wie Booking.com nicht willkommen sind. Obwohl wir bereits rund sechs Monate im Voraus ein Deluxe-Doppelzimmer gebucht hatten, erhielten wir weder im Vorfeld noch beim Check-in eine Information darüber, dass die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie nicht mehr verfügbar war. Erst beim Betreten des Zimmers bemerkten wir, dass es sich um eine falsche Zimmerkategorie handelte. Auf Nachfrage wurde mitgeteilt, dass die gebuchte Kategorie ausgebucht sei. Eine Kompensation wurde mit dem Hinweis abgelehnt, dass die Buchung über einen Drittanbieter erfolgt sei. Auch eine Kontaktaufnahme mit Booking.com führte leider zu keiner wirklichen Unterstützung bei der Klärung des Problems. Zusätzlich wirkte das Personal insgesamt unmotiviert und wenig freundlich. Am Wochenende war die Atmosphäre im Hotel eher unangenehm, da viele alkoholisierte Gäste für eine sehr laute Umgebung am Pool und Strand sorgten. Besonders negativ fiel auch auf, dass während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts von vier Nächten kein regulärer Zimmerservice stattfand. Erst nach zwei Nächten erhielten wir auf Nachfrage die Information, dass unser Zimmer nicht auf der Reinigungsliste stehe; immerhin bekamen wir frische Handtücher auf Nachfrage.

- joeeD7450RP (4/5): DO NOT USE YOUR DEBIT CARD HERE FOR INCIDENTALS!!! - Sorry for the dramatic title. Just tried to warn everyone about what could be the obvious. My wife and I have been going to Navarre for our yearly vacation for about 5 years. This year I decided to use my Citi points to cover half the cost at the SpringHill Suites which we have stayed at consistently. This transaction was completed about two months before the trip. Upon check in, as usual, the front desk woman asked for a card for incidentals. THANK GOODNESS I gave her my credit card and not my debit. I asked her what would be charged to my room and she replied NOTHING as long as I didn't purchase anything to the room. OK. The week went by great. We had a great time in the hotel as usual and weren't expecting any issues when we checked out. Upon check out though I always ask for a print out of anything we had been charged. I never just rush out the door. We received the print out and everything looked great. I asked again if anything would be going on my credit card. The person said "no". Then comes the fun part. About an hour into the drive home, my wife looks at the credit card account and notices we were charged the whole amount for the weeks stay AGAIN! She immediately called the hotel and tried to get it straight. To try and make this already long story shorter, the customer service response was less than good. No one picked up the phone. Couldn't really help us. Even the "managers" weren't really that great. So after getting ahold of someone at the hotel and getting it "straightened out" my wife again looked at the credit card account and the Hotel charged us AGAIN. All in all, they ended up charging us 4 times for the stay on the credit card that we gave for "incidentals". That's why I emphasized always use a credit card. I couldn't imagine being a young couple on their first vacation or a military family using their debit card and having the incompetence of a hotel staff being the reason the bank account was just debited for close to $8000 dollars. After about two weeks of going back and forth with Mariott Bonvoy and my credit card issuer, it all got squared away. The time in between was very frustrating and consuming. They were kind enough though to gift us $100 dollars to cover the parking fees. Definitely the last time we stay there. Its too bad because it is a nice place to stay.

No cups or buckets in the ice machine room. Dirty washcloth was inside the bathroom cabinet. Dirty stain on balcony floor. Need a space around pool that is okay to sit with your pet and watch kids safely in the pool.

Visited for Spring Break, yet no dining options available in hotel on Sunday night. Breakfast buffet is mediocre with no air conditioning and no seating. Whitecaps available Wednesday to Saturday. Again, good marketing, gotcha. Could not tell you how it is, or will I ever. Probably won’t return. We had a sick child and attempted to get takeout from the Social Club. Kitchen was already closed up before advertised closing time. For $400+ a night, will definitely do VRBO instead. Mattresses are some of the worst I’ve ever slept on. If I had an air mattress, would have slept on it instead. My rack in the Navy was better! Like most experiences these days, customer no service, and no Management ever seen to voice your opinion.

We had everything we needed and wanted there so we only left the hotel once! I wished we understood that we had to book a room with a balcony. When we arrived we called down to the front desk because our closet door was off track. They never sent up a maintenance person. I then went down to the front desk and asked again and it was never fixed. My son ended up fixing it. The one front desk clerk who I dealt with repeatedly was somewhat rude. The hotel double charged me. I had paid through booking and they charged me again after I checked in. They refunded that charge after I complained but then three days after our stay I received a fraud alert from my bank saying that the hotel was trying to charge my card again for the full amount of the stay. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one. Why would they keep charging the card when it was paid in full through booking?
- Amy (9/5): Will likely be back very quiet and family oriented - Love the location. Staff was great, very clean and well managed. Plenty to do for everyone. Beds were a little stiff, ice cream shop was closed while we were there, and food was limited at the restaurants especially for kids. A few more options would have been great.

The views from the balcony over the beach, gulf and pool area are stunning - especially at sunset. Shelby was fantastic and attentive. I had an issue with door key lock not working and maintenance resolved it quickly. The hotel staff I interacted with were helpful, and the hospitality staff at The Beach House Social next door provided great customer service and help with special requests for a birthday. Overall, I highly recommend for beach travelers and dog owners who want their four-legged family to join their stay. This place is very accommodating.

- Go38666144459 (2/5): Great view, Horrendous Stay - Beautiful beach, great access to beach. Literally the only positive thing I can say. Stayed on 4th floor and AC is out and we’re burning up. My dad is also staying on same floor and has same issue. Desk just said it’s an issue with the floor. Wifi is horrible and practically non existent. Saw online you could request your phone be used as a key and when I mentioned it during checkin girl said she didn’t know how to do it. Shower pressure is very low We decided to splurge on this trip and I’ve spent way less money at other locations and had much better service Extremely disappointed, we were so excited about this place until we got here

- Deena (8/5): Great Visit - The location was very good. You can walk right out the back door to the beach. The room was comfortable, with a sitting area and bed area. The breakfast was very good; lots of options and variety each day. This was a handicapped room with a roll-in shower. The shower was poorly designed so that not only did the water run out of the shower area, but it ran onto the bathroom floor which had a drain. However, the water ran around the drain, out into the bathroom floor and under the door of the bathroom. We had to create a dam around the drain with towels to contain it and then ask for extra towels. While this was an inconvenience, it didn't really affect our stay.

- EYE AM (9/5): Great stay despite parking fees - Everything was picture perfect here. I was quite upset that we were charged $25 (per night!)for parking in the hotel parking lot. Obsurd and kinda on the greedy side IMO.

They are a lot of hidden expenses they will charge you and make you pay for . WiFi . Pay for parking even if you stay there . Which were some expenses they try to hide . Neighbour are too loud . It’s not sound proof .

- donald (5/5): Not again. - The location is good. Nothing special done by any staff for sure. Problems with TV. Neighbor left their dog in room and it barked and whined for over an hour during the night. Definitely not the place for a romantic birthday getaway 😒
- Calvin (3/5): Lacks quality and luster that it use to have. - I liked the location, the facilities and the breakfast. Our room had a Musty/mildew smell in it. It was over bearing. The couch had blood on it. Sand was all over the floor and the head board has blood on it also. House keeping skipped over cleaning our room. We went to the front desk 3 times to get the issue resolved. This hotel does not have the same quality that it once had. It’s quality and luster has diminished, and the price tag has increased for poor service and sub par hotel room.

- Ashley (10/5): Fabulous. Seriously, great! - Far exceeded my expectations. This is a four star hotel not a three! The king room was HUGE, so nice and clean, really big shower, excellent balcony view of the ocean. The pool is great and the lazy river was a fabulous touch. The hot breakfast is great every day and varies in options. House keeping was great. The grounds were so upkept and clean. This is more of a low key resort than a hotel. We will be back!

- Victoria (7/5): Our Experience at Springhill - Paige at the front desk was so sweet, We loved the heated pool and jacuzzi The balcony was beautiful Breakfast was delicious Our wedding ceremony turned out to be so beautiful Melissa Read saved the day by compensating us for our wedding. Very thankful for her!!! The multi lingual front desk girl was SO disgustingly rude to all my wedding guests and family . I cant stand her. The coordinator for events did not communicate our wedding plans to staff so we ended up having our ceremony outside without my knowledge despite calling to confirm the conference room was ready and set up. We paid 600 dollars and got the wrong color tapestry and I couldn't wear my $100 wedding shoes.

- Companion817026 (4/5): Bad Service - We have stayed at this hotel several times and the location is great. We love the beachside location and the views. The problems started with the elevators. One elevator was not working and people were checking in with multiple dogs. We waited for almost 30 minutes just to get the elevator. We finally got to the lobby to check in and there was only one person at the desk while 3 staff members were over to the side talking. Finally, another staff member came over. It took forever to get checked in. There were so many dogs in the hotel you couldn’t avoid them. I like dogs but these dogs were big dogs and people had more than one. The problem with the dogs was that it clogged elevators and common areas. The next day when I was checking out there was no one to check me out. The person at the desk said he couldn’t do it, so again, I waited for several minutes for someone to appear who could check me out. Nice hotel but bad service and the staff was not friendly. Not a good experience!

- P7610PJgregs (4/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY WILL NOT RETURN LOST PROPERTY. - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights) and enjoyed it mostly. However, there were some glaring customer service issues that would prevent me from staying here again or recommending the place to anyone. Here are my examples: 1. LOST PROPERTY: The day after getting home from the vacation, we realized we left 3 swimsuits hanging in the closet. I called the front desk immediately to ask if they had found them and if they were able to return them to me at my own expense. The response I got was: "We will let housekeeping know, and they will get back to you in the next day or two." I never heard back from them. I called the front desk again a total of 4 times over the next week (see the attached screenshot for proof). I always got the same response that they would get back to me, but they never did. I don't appreciate the lying; I would rather know whether or not I could pay to get my personal property back. On my last time calling, they told me that I should go to ilostmystuff.com and make a lost item report, which I did two weeks ago. However, nothing has come of this report. It might sound like I'm complaining about nothing, but bathing suits (especially women's) can be expensive in the $40-50 range, and we lost 3. ***Just know that if you choose to stay here and happen to leave your phone, your wallet, clothing, electronics, beauty supplies, etc., YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING THEM BACK. THEY WILL STEAL OR DESTROY YOUR PROPERTY!!!!*** 2. PARKING FEE: There is a (somewhat hidden) parking fee of $25/day with this hotel property, which is fine. However, the problem that I have is that they charged me for 4 days of parking when I only stayed 3 nights and left at 5AM on the final day. I don't believe I should have to pay for a 4th day of parking if I'm leaving in the morning on the last day. I shouldn't even have to pay for a 3rd day of parking if I get in late on day one. 3. REFILLING TOILETRIES: When we arrived, the conditioner bottle in the shower was completely empty. This isn't a huge deal, but what is a huge deal is that I had to ask the front desk 3 times to refill it, and it took 2 days to get it done. There were a few positives to the stay: (1) the location and rooms were great, (2) the pool and hot tub were great, (3) the breakfast was good, especially when they had bacon. However, they need to resolve these customer service issues before anyone should consider staying here.

Das Frühstück traf meist unseren Geschmack und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gern nutzten wir die Leibfahrräder und emfinden die täglichen kostenfreien 60 Minuten als netten Bonus. Teppiche und so manches Möbelstück sollten demnächst erneuert werden.

- Julia (8/5): Hotel was nice and worth what we paid in November but wouldn’t pay the high prices for it in the summer. - The pool was great for small children. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Location was great! I asked for the tv in our room to be fixed 3 times and was told maintenance was busy with a wedding so couldn’t come the first day. Second day they said they would send them, checked again later on and still no one showed to fix it. Pool deck is super slippery even walking slowly.
