Die Elektro-Bratpfanne war ein Erlebnis, das gut funktioniert hat :) Heizung und Wärmedecke haben wir nicht gebraucht, aber gut zu wissen, dass es sie gibt. Die Lage am See ist toll. Kurzer Weg zur Toilette. Die Straße ist relativ stark befahren, was in der Cabin kein so großes Problem ist, in einem Zelt vielleicht schon.

• Māris (8/5): Budget-friendly option - A budget-friendly option, at a fairly good level. I liked both the surroundings and the decor of the house. Shared bathroom and toilets were ok. The kitchen was not as well equipped as in some other similar places we stayed at in New Zealand. The campsite is very close to the highway with quite active traffic, but it wasn’t as disturbing for sleep as it initially seemed.

The campground is on both sides of a very busy road so it is a bit loud as trucks go past but earplugs are provided.

It truly makes you feel that you are really in New Zealand! As it was "glamping", if only it had an attached bathroom it would be perfect! Having additional cutleries would help too.

• Shivanee (8/5): Winter 2025 getaway - The room was nice and clean when we arrived. It was a cosy little unit l, enough to accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids. Linens, towels, tissue boxes, and milk were provided. The Heatings were great. Even electric blankets worked perfectly. Kitchenette, with microwave, kettle, and toaster, as well as an electric pan, was provided. Dishes and cuttleries were all there, fridge and freezer. The only bother was the bathrooms were a bit far from the unit.

• Tyler (6/5): Good bed & dome. Free wifi didn't work at all. - The view was great & the dome was comfy. The air filter beeped all night & we asked staff to take a look, they didn't try to help at all. The free wifi didn't connect at all.

To be honest we were really tired and would have loved to chill on our phones or with a Netflix move but the internet stopped completely. That was a bummer. Lovely outlook, comfy bed and interior though. Busy road but we got used to it Road noise, no internet.

• Adrian (10/5): - We had a lovely stay here, the unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our only problem was the single bunk beds which were very noisy and squeaky and the springs were too soft- one of our group got their hair caught in the springs. Otherwise the unit was great.
