Eli Rouillon (10/5): Exquisito hotel boutique estilo mexicano en centro histórico de San Miguel de Allende - Exquisita la decoración y diseño interior con elementos artesanales mexicanos del Lotel Casa Arca, muy amable la atención de los recepcionistas y personal del restaurante y housekeeping, deliciosa la comida del restaurant, remiendo cenar por lo menos una vez allí. El desayuno muy bueno, ofrecen extractos de verduras y frutas, huevos en muchos estilos, panes artesanales, chocolate caliente (buenísimo!!) y mucho más. Ubicado en calle peatonal a media cuadra de la Plaza Mayor. Nada, todo estuvo maravilloso!

It was a culinary delight and a great way to start off a day filled with lots of walking. Service was also impeccable.

Increíble que no tengan baldosa antideslizante. 2. Lo impráctico que es el sistema de iluminación y energía en las habitaciones. Es una odisea cargar el celular. 3. La poca disposición de las dos chicas de recepción, francamente desinteresadas y con actitud muy poco amable. 4. Lo pobre que es el desayuno y que el tipo que tomó la orden bostezó en la cara de mi compañero de viaje.

It was obvious that the chef was excellent. Room 104 was conveniently located and quiet. We were unprepared for the cold temperature in the breakfast area each morning, but realize that it is the way the historic structure is built. The shower area in room 104 needs repair: new tiles and repainting.

Considero que el baño de la habitación en que me quedé necesita mantenimiento la ducha fue un tema. Y recomiendo mantenimiento al aire acondicionado ya que presenta cierto olor a humedad.

La hora de check IN es MUY impráctica y mas si vas a pasar el día en San Miguel etc... Si tienes evento como era nuestro caso muy mal por que no hay manera que puedas tener acceso a tu cuarto antes de las 3pm. Desgraciadamente la persona que nos atendió a nuestra llegada de muy mala actitud pero todos los demás muy atentos.

Hector (6/5): Last time I stay there - The pool The receptionist at the check in had no idea what it means to be in hospitality industry. They have their rates in USD, but their Amex machine only let you pay in Mexican pesos with an Abusive exchange rate, so I ended up paying way much more than the rate is on booking.

They have at least 15 networks in sight but they are all weak. Easy and inexpensive fix, then it's 5 star all the way. They moved us to the sweet pool room at least but still crappy wifi.
Yuridia (6/5): - Tiny property with a restaurant on the bottom floor. You have to cross through the restaurant to get to the second floor where the pool is located. Pool facilities are not kept up. Tile was dirty. Tiny pool. They do not have a spa but have a company come to your room. The whole experience was not worth the price. The only thing we liked was the free breakfast. Very noisy hotel and the staff start their day early. To top it all off the street that it is located on is a closed street do they pick you up about half a block away and take the car to a parking lot.

Ya que el hotel se encuentra en Zona Peatonal (muy de San Miguel) estuvieron atentos para esperarnos y que nuestra llegada no tuviera inconvenientes. El Hotel esta enclavado en una casona del principios de 1900. Las habitaciones de construcción nuevas de muy buen tamaño y mobiliario de alta gama, preciosos.

Tener en cuenta que queda en una calle peatonal y no ofrecen asistencia con equipaje.

Look forward to coming back. The rooms on the first floor only have a window that opens up to an interior courtyard. Would have enjoyed a view to the exterior. Harumi (9/5): Superb - The location. Breakfast was excellent. There was a confusion about payment system. The booking.com information didn’t mention about one night deposit will be charged beforehand. We noticed a charge about a month before arrival but they used the name of other company. So we thought it was a fraudulent charge. It turned out that the name of the hotel used to charge us was their main company name. They didn’t use the name Lotel Casa Arca. They need to inform your company that the deposit for one night will be charged beforehand using the different name.
