FREE PARKING
NICE AND WARM NOTHING APART FROM SHOWER A BIT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. WHICH WAS NOT AN ISSUE.
- Julie (9/5): -
- Christine (10/5): - We liked the quiet tucked away feel and the general excellent standard of the site. Wasn't that obvious from the main road and we drove past it twice (lorry in entrance at first) but then the sign also said something court and we were expecting cherry tree cottage. Did not realise there was more than one cottage there.
- Peter (10/5): Perfect cottage for exploring the Yorkshire coast. - The cottage was absolutely perfect . Everything was exactly as described. Within walking distance of the Martonian pub and restaurant and only a short drive to the North Star Restaurant at Flamborough Head.
- maria (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): very pleasant & calm place but close to all amenities - Location brilliant, cottage superb, best on the East Coast we will be going back loved the neighbours Better instructions for the use of TV needed
- Les (10/5): Very comfortable cottage in an ideal location. Really enjoyed our short break there. - Excellent location. Within walking distance of Sewerby village with two good pub restaurants and the coastal path. There was nothing about the cottage or it’s location that we didn’t enjoy.
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. - The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The location is near to bempton flambrough and bridlington.
We would recommend this property and look forward to booking again soon.
- Craig (10/5): Cosy cottahe - Second visit, location good and just a lovely cosy cottage Nothing
- maria (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): - The whole cottage Nothing
- Susan (10/5): A good position for walking in the local area - Comfortable warm cottage with good facilities and welcoming basket of snacks and drinks
- Mathew (10/5): Lovely quiet cottage, fully equipped, in quiet location, with very attentive and considerate host -
- Andrea (10/5): A little gem. - The peaceful location, and the cottage facilities and comfort were excellent. Nothing to report all good
- Stewart (10/5): What a find, lovely, peaceful and relaxing - Pleasantly decorated and lovely comfortable bed. Everything required for a peaceful relaxing break with a secluded courtyard. A lovely welcome pack to greet us on our arrival and excellent communication from our hosts. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the place at all.
- Maria (10/5): - Beautiful, well maintained property. Very quiet location, with local pub/restaurant a very short walk away.
- Lynn (7/5): Nice quiet cottage located well for easy access to places to visit. - Good location for access to sights, very quiet although all cottages weren’t occupied, easy parking, nicely decorated and all amenities provided. Lovely welcome pack especially the wine!! Unfortunately i had to share the property with 6 or so flies which proved impossible to catch!! Not sure if something was attracting them inside.
Also please could you supply a handbook for the property? I couldn’t turn up the heating as the temperature dropped and also had trouble locating tv stations as the tv said none were stored.
- Michael (10/5): Ideal property for one or two people for a holiday on the Yorkshire coast . - A comfortable and clean property which suited my wife and I very well for a short break . Nothing
- Jwl30 (10/5): Beautiful cottage - What a little gem of a place, could not fault anything. So well equipped fantastic welcome basket such a lovely touch. Great communication from hayley & Mike 😊 will be definitely returning thank you.
- Barry (8/5): Pretty comfortable cottage in an excellent location. - The location was perfect. We were only a few minutes away from all the places we wanted to visit and Sewerby was a very pretty village. All the local people were very friendly. We also liked the pretty garden outside the cottage and the lovely clean smell as soon as you entered the cottage. There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like apart from the fact there were lots of flies everywhere when we visited . Not the owners fault. The kitchen didn’t have a lot of worktop space but that didn’t really bother us as we ate out most of the time. And there weren’t many sockets for charging phones etc. The cottage is quite small but it was ideal for a couple if they didn’t want to do much cooking. We weren’t able to get anything on the tv in the bedroom and only a few options on the tv in the lounge.
- Kevin (10/5): Relaxing and no worries. - Very comfortable. clean, well equipped cottage in a quiet neighbourhood. Parking space available. Supermarkets 5-10 minutes drive away.
- Peter (10/5): Really nice break - Good location, was self catering. Everything was just great thank you
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent. - Very clean and tidy, lovely little welcome pack and a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived. Some power sockets on both sides of the bed would be good.
- Kathleen (10/5): Perfect spot.. - Perfect location for exploring the east coast. There wasn't any negatives in our opinion
- Everett (9/5): Enjoyable, good base (by car) for coastal footpath and RSPB Bempton Cliffs. - Very comfortable, welcome pack of goodies and bottle of milk much appreciated. Hosts responded quickly when we confessed to difficulties with the TV streaming. Perhaps a bit more tourist bumph.
- Willis (9/5): comfortable and relaxing - Very quite location, very near to Bempton Cliffs. very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated small thing but I expected salt, pepper and cooking oil to be provided - may be my mistake as I don't often self cater.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Banks (10/5): Beautiful property in an amazing location. - We had a wonderful stay at Cherry tree cottage. The cottage was so cozy and homely, very well kept and clean and the hosts were lovely. Location was perfect to explore the surrounding towns and countryside. We honestly loved this little cottage for our relaxing stay and it will definitely be on our favourites list for future return visits. We wished our stay was longer!
- Alison (8/5): A Cherry Nice Stay - Cherry tree cottage is in a great location, handy for Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough and Bridlington is within walkable distance. It is peaceful (lots of lovely birdsong from a wren and blackbird in May), comfortable and well presented. It's spacious compared to other accommodation we have stayed in that sleeps up to 2. When people in previous reviews have requested things like a shower squeegee or rubber mat, we can see that Hayley and Mike have provided them. A very small thing, but maybe a bit more information on things to do/restaurant recommendations for people who don't know the area as well as we do.
- Terry (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (10/5): Wonderful. - Spotlessly clean, great facilities, wonderful location very peaceful. Nothing
- Heather (9/5): Perfect location for coastal path - Lovely cottage - clean, comfy bed and good shower; had everything we needed.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The welcome basket was a thoughtful gesture, rarely seen these days , unfortunately. A few more plug sockets would be very useful.

- Sara (7/5): Good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Good size accommodation for 2 people, clean and well equipped. The bed and the couch were very comfortable. It was quiet but convenient for visiting local tourist spot. Took the bus to North Landing and walked back around the headland. Not a huge thing, but maybe a few more local guides would have been useful.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Excellent - It was quite and comfortably
- Susan (10/5): A lovely relaxing and enjoyable holiday made better by a great holiday cottage to spend our stay in. - It was set in a quiet area. Beautifully presented, very clean. Near to amenities and Bridlington. The host was very welcoming and the facilities were excellent. Nothing at all.
- Ian (10/5): Home from home - Felt like home as soon as we walked in. Well equipped inside, bit of garden area outside, comfortable to be there. Not really a big didn't like, but the shower could have had a glass squeegee to wipe it down,
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -

We had a very nice comfortable stay, thank you. We'll be back if you'll have us 😀 The path to the accommodation was very slippy with moss after the rain. Otherwise, everything was great.
- Kathleen (9/5): Cherry Tree Home from Home - Mike was very welcoming, everything in the cottage of high standard. Also warm and comfortable. Would have appreciated a shower mat for inside the shower.
- David (10/5): Every thing was just perfect -

Quiet and private, good sized shower. modern.
Host very polite and helpful. Just a little moan about the duvet & pillows, a bit heavy/solid ? Think they are feather?

- Kay (10/5): Fantastic little cottage in lovely area - We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The welcome basket and milk were a lovely touch and the hosts on hand if you have any problems. The location is really good. We were not disturbed by the train line at all. It is in close proximity to Bridlington, Flamborough, Sewerby, and Bempton Cliffs. There is also a pub within walking distance if you don't fancy cooking. Nothing to complain about. 🙂 The cottage is within a little group of other cottages that are quite close together. Privacy wasn't an issue for us, but we could see how it might be if you're looking for something totally private.
- Philip (10/5): Great property. We will definitely return. - Beautifully clean and exceptionally well-equipped. Extra little touches from thoughtful hosts. Very quiet but nearby was a bus stop for Bridlington, Flamborough and North Landing. RSPB Bempton Cliffs just a short drive away.
