Guest Reviews
- Allison (10/5): What we had hoped for! - Our stay was a blast and exactly what we were hoping for. Can't wait to make it back again and this time be sure to get a reservation for dinner!
Live music from our decks was an added bonus.
Kids had a blast and the golfing was fun.
- Scott (8/5): Back to nature - This was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was very nice and helpful. It did get cold at night but there is extra blankets in the tent and the owner offered more if needed. There is a porta potty on sight with a very, very small shower but with great hot water. The restaurant had very good food but is only open for dinner on Thurs. - Sat. There is Kim's marina just down the street with a small store and laundry mat that you can go to for snacks and ice if you have an ice chest or if you need to do some laundry. If your wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle and get back to nature, this is the place.
- Brent (6/5): - The water in the container in the room tasted like soap. It would be better if they provided bottled water for drinking and a container like that for washing.
- Jamie (10/5): - A nice intimate getaway for those seeking really good food, drink, and a comfortable glamping excursion. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the band rocked the house!
- Brenda (4/5): - Was very old, walking felt like you could fall through at any step, and bathrooms were not clean at all. Maybe in winter it would work, but no electricity or any type. You have one lantern.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No rooms available during check in. Said they have never heard of CheapTickets.com
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It wasn’t open when I got there. The host called me minutes before arrival and said was closed for the winter.
- Kendall (4/5): eep scrolling - Horrible, dirty and expensive!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet place to hang you hat for the night
Thank You
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Disappointing, but fine for one night. The tents/cabins and setting are nice but the shower facilities were dirty, definitely not sanitized for Covid, and the barely worked without the spout falling off and scalding us.
There is only one place to eat nearby, a restaurant on the property that is owned by the same people, with expensive and mediocre food. They have live music on weekends which was fun for a while but goes late into the night and carries over into the space. If you are looking for a quiet camping experience this isn’t it
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not great...due to other campers inconsiderate behavior...loud thumping music all night and I mean all night until 7 am. Would have been nice if owners instituted a “quiet time” for inconsiderate losers and checked in...ever!
Couldn’t ever get shower hot despite following directions explicitly.
We were assigned the “worst” of the 4 tents no decorations on deck just 2 old chairs.
- Dan (10/5): Dan in Colorado - Accommodations were great and the place just had a awesome atmosphere. Food at the restaurant was fantastic. Loved it!
- Ingrid (10/5): - Owner greeted us and made sure we were comfortable.
One thing to note is the location is very rural and the restaurant is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays so eat before you get there.
- Angie (10/5): - Such a nice welcome! The bed was super comfy and the grounds were gorgeous. The food at the restaurant was so good as well.
- Chauntel (2/5): Do not book here - They lost my reservation so when I went to check in they said there was nothing they could do and good luck to find another place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lots of fun, unique, great food. We stayed in the cabin which was exactly what we were looking for.
- Shirley (10/5): Excellent! - We had an awesome time. Can't wait to go back. We were there on a Tuesday so the restaurant wasn't open. Next time we will be sure to book over the weekend so we can see the band.
