- Shunji (5/5): - 外湯への送迎サービス。
朝食が美味しかった。 部屋に羽虫が出た
- Janet (10/5): The best ryokan stay in Kinosaki! - The food, kaiseki meals, were the best! So beautifully presented and truly delicious! The place was so clean. There was private and public onsen.
Our room had a spectacular view of mountains and the river. We could hear the ducks and birds in the mornings.
The staff were all friendly and spoke English.
Free shuttle bus rides to the different onsens were very helpful.
The ryokan is a short walk to the town proper.
All in all, it was a wonderful ryokan stay in Kinosaki! Nothing.
- Lea (9/5): - Cozy and very thoughtful place to experience Onsen. Late check in :) Was hoping we could check in at 2
- tsuyoshi (5/5): 値段の割にイマイチ - まあまあ 雨だったので、何も出来なかった

- Todd (10/5): Excellent Place to stay while in Kinosaki...I'll stay here again - Property was beautifully taken care of. The view from our room was stunning. The staff was gracious and our personal host was very sweet. Both the Breakfast and Dinner were amazing. Very carefully crafted, and more than we could eat. Everything was great. I can not think of anything that I would change. I would stay here again

The view was fantastic. Location is a bit isolated.

食事もおいしくてボリュームも満点でした。 眺望ありと記載がありましたが、虫がよってくるとのことでカーテンを閉めたままだったのが残念でした。

- Keyhé (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martina (10/5): Lovely stay and staff! We could not ask for a better service :) -
- Aiden (8/5): Location amazing, staff wonderful and accommodating, overall highly recommended place to stay and well worth the price. - The staff were very very professional and friendly making the stay soo much more enjoyable and wonderful. The bathrooms were super clean and hot to bath in and the quality and quantity of food for both breakfast and dinner was very filling yet delicious. The private baths didn’t really have and curtains or window covers that made having a private bath a little exposed if any on lookers were to pass by.
- Carol (10/5): Very relaxing and lots of delicious food! - Food, staff and facilities were great!
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- P (8/5): Very good - staffs are very nice and warm welcomed. no bathroom (shower room) in the bedroom. only toilet
- Q (10/5): A very comfortable stay with excellent service and hospitality - The staff was friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. It was actually the best service we've received during our 2 week trip in Japan. We felt welcomed and taken care of, and enjoyed our relaxing stay at Oyado Seri. We were able to book the place for 5 people, which was a plus since most places only seem to take 4 people max. The location is a little further away from the main attractions, but had a stunning view over the water, so we didn't mind. Although walking to the location is possible, I'd avoid using the main road as cars drive fast on that road and there are no sidewalks or bike paths. I'd recommend either catching a ride there, or planning a different route ahead of time. It is possible to get there on foot by walking along the water.
- Christopher (10/5): Highly recommended! - This ryokan is so nice! The experience was way better than expected. It's located a bit out of the city, giving you a quite night of sleep in beautiful traditional rooms. The staff is very friendly and we felt super welcomed by everyone, from reception, van driver, dinner and breakfast service - I would def. go again.
- Javiera (9/5): Great value for money! - Dinner was stunning! In our room and so traditional! We loved every second of it.
Breakfast was in their in their common canteen and it was carefully prepared and super traditional.
The location is a bit far walking but they transport you on their little van, such great care! The private onsen was also a huge plus and it's open until midnight. Great view from our window! Nothing! All was great!
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - The staff were amazing as was the experience. The room was wonderful and so was the onsens.
The service for dinner and bed making was lovely
Thank you for having us.
- Emily (10/5): I still think about it to this day. Would definitely come back. The food was amazing. - Everything was amazing Nothing, we loved it
- Tristan (10/5): Fantastic hotel, great food, wonderful staff. - Brilliant. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and were very accommodating of our inability to speak Japanese. We had fallen sick at a different town and the hotel manager personally took us to the doctor and helped us navigate the process. The food was incredible and the onsen was lovely. Thank you Oyado Seri!
- Chun (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- YingP156 (10/5): Amazing experience - Host was friendly and very engaging. They went beyond their call of duty to ensure a memorable experience! Room is clean, view is breathe taking. Enjoyed the private onsen. The food was excellent! Lucky to have caught the crab season
While the location of the Seri accommodation is slightly far away from the onsens, free transport was provided. They even allow for free delivery and free baggage storage opposite the train station
- atiner (10/5): Nice room and food - As in the Japanese tradition, hospitality was great, room very clean and kaiseki dinner superbly made. Also has a great view over the river! It is a bit outside of the main onsen street (~15 min walk) but the hotel can drive you in and out whenever you need. One of the owners/managers speak a bit of English (enough to talk about the weather and recommend things to do) so communication was not a problem.
- Graham067 (10/5): A gem - I spent three nights here with breakfast and dinner included and greatly enjoyed it. I had a well appointed Japanese room overlooking the river and hills. Dinner was served in my room each evening and they were superb as were the breakfasts which were served in the dinning room. While one of the staff speaks good English, the rest do not but it was not really a problem. They were extremely friendly and helpful and would always be prepared to run me into the town when I asked. They are also prepared to pick up guests at any time but I preferred to walk back as it was only about 15 minutes. Has a lovely onsen and good wifi in room.
A great place to relax and I would love to come back.
- wanderingage (4/5): Misrepresented - This hotel is also called "Oyado Seri". We made a reservation for one night on booking.com for ~15000 Y. Our reservation indicated that the price included both dinner and breakfast. However, when we arrived, reception said our room only included breakfast and dinner would be another 5000 Yen (~$60). Their english was limited so it was impossible to get across that dinner was supposed to be included in the rate. We are currently in the process of trying to sort this out with booking.com, but who knows whether we'll get anything refunded.
Other than the mishap with dinner, we enjoyed staying at the ryokan. Their service was great and the ryokan was clean. Breakfast was excellent! It made us that much more disappointed that we didn't get to experience dinner there. It is a bit out of town but we got shuttled a couple times into the main part of town and walked back (~15 mins).
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but be certain whether or not dinner is excluded/included in your room rate.
