• Martha (9/5): Ausgezeichnet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. - Die Lage, die Sauberkeit und die liebevolle Bereitstellung von Dingen die das Leben in einem eher kleinen Ambiente erleichtern. Ein wirklich sehr kleiner Raum, nur 1 Sessel zur Verfügung.

It felt very welcoming amd there were lots of lovely touches supplied by the host who was great at keeping in touch but also left us to do our own thing. The two bedrooms were great and the living area was comfy and cosy and there was.even a small outside area with table and chairs. • kristen (9/5): Perfect location for our Venice stay! - This was the perfect location for us. It was an easy walk to the Doges palace, Basilica many other main attractions of Venice. We stayed in the two bedroom/one bath apartment with a kitchen/family room area. The apartment was clean, cozy, quiet, felt very safe and had everything we needed. There was even daily maid service/bed making, which was a pleasant surprise. Maria Elisabetta our host was easy to contact when we had questions. The only down side to our stay was the size of the shower. It is a very tight space .

• Jamie (7/5): Book the Valentino Suite! - Beautiful location just off the touristy area but close to everything. Our first room (Artist) was a bit small for two but then were upgraded to the Valentino suite which is absolutely to die for with amazing views, ample space, and a lovely balcony over the canal. The host is also super responsive and very friendly! As above, the artist room is a bit small for two especially on a work trip though could work fine if you are economical. Bathrooms are also functional but basic.

The room is quite small and the decor occupies a lot of the available surfaces, not leaving much space for our belongings. The room was extremely clean. The only point I would make on cleanliness is that the duvet was on top of a sheet and covered by a bedspread instead of in a duvet cover.

The host was very thoughtful and has snacks, eggs, milk, juice, coffee, tea and a mini fridge with drinks for your concurrence. She also had a boom on the table full of useful information about the property and things to see and do in the area along with restaurant suggestions, and how to get from one place to another. The beds were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The best part was the amazing balcony with canal view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing

• Ulrich Andreas (10/5): Ein Traum - Die Lage in der Nähe vom Dogenpalast ist für Ausflüge in die Stadt perfekt. Die Wohnung im Dachgeschoss mit Dachterrasse ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Gastgeberin um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Ich fühlte mich hier sehr wohl und die 4 Tage vergingen wie im Flug.

• Paula (10/5): - Delightful! We booked the King Suite with Balcony because we wanted the terrace and the canal view, and we were not disappointed! It's a beautiful place with amazing views of the neighborhood. The canal is busy enough to see plenty of gondola boats go by, etc., but the pedestrian street was never crowded during our stay. There are a couple of restaurants right there, and many more within a few minutes' walk. St. Mark's Square is quite close. Extremely convenient! The doors and windows are modern and shut tight if you want complete quiet. The apartment has a fully functioning kitchen and a modern bath with a shower, and there is a door between the shower/toilet room and the sink so it is great for sharing. This apartment would sleep 4 as there are two large beds, somewhat separated from each other (no door on the second one). The host, Maria Elisabetta, communicated very well and left us a basket of food for breakfast -- there were even eggs, which was awfully nice for a couple of Americans just off the plane for a first stop in Italy! This is the perfect place to feel like it's 300 years ago, but without sacrificing any modern comforts! I wouldn't say "don't like" because it is part of the charm, but do be aware that there are several flights of steep stairs going up to this 3rd floor apartment. The reward is the amazing terrace and wonderful views on all sides!

Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeberin, was sich in vielen kleinen Details und Extras zeigt :) Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet und der Blick vom Balkon eine Freude :) Es gibt auch einen Aufbewahrungsplatz fürs Gepäck ! Ich komme gerne wieder :) !

• Maria (10/5): Venetian charm in great location with beautiful views. - Beautiful accomodation with lovely Venetian character, very comfortable for our family of 4 and well equipped. Extremely clean and excellent location with easy walking distance to St Marks Basilica (within 10 min). We really appreciated the host generously providing a welcome basket of goodies (milk, eggs, bread, snacks) on arrival. Lovely views of the canals from all the rooms. Nothing, was perfect for our family. Host has thought of everything for travelling families : )

• Johnson (8/5): Convenient, easy, and clean Venice stay! Great for access to St Mark’s Square. - Loved the location and convenience! No major complaints. Perhaps I was ignorant to provided information, but I wish we would’ve had some detailed instructions regarding check-out. This was our first stay in Italy and payment of the tourist tax was not something I’d done. I didn’t know if that was to be made in person or left and I had to scramble a bit on the morning of check out to ensure that was done properly.

Maria Elisabetta left us a lot of food, including eggs for breakfast! She even let us store our luggage for free the next day. We would definitely stay there again.

• Madhavi (4/5): Ok, not great! - Beds and WiFi The lighting need improvement both in the entryway to steps and inside the whole apartment. The bathroom was very dark! Plus people need to know there are no elevators. Visitors need to take that into account.

Host left us food to make for breakfast which we had on the balcony which was unreal. Our host Maria was lovely from start the finish and made the apartment so special for us.

Brilliant location, just away from lots of hustle and bustle but close enough to be central. Overlooking a canal. Perfect setting. The room had everything you’d need. Bright, airy and good size en-suite. The room had tea/coffee facilities, a mini fridge and on arrival there was a guest hamper full of goodies including milk, Prosecco and biscuits and snacks. The room was spotless and my word the bed was comfy. I couldn’t fault a single thing. The host really was spectacular. So thoughtful and kindly allowed early check in as the room was just ready. A perfect visit to Venice made all the better by this fantastic accommodation and host.

The apartment was spacious, well stocked, very clean and the location was convenient to the water bus and walking distance to main attractions. The pictures are accurate. The host went above and beyond and was very responsive. What a surprise to arrive and a find a snack basket and breakfast essentials. She helped make our trip to Venice even more special. Very responsive and helpful host. Easy property to find and great instructions, and central but not too central. Would thoroughly recommend in summer or winter. Slightly harsh lighting (the electric lights). A few lamps in some of the rooms for the atmosphere might help :)
