The location is 40 minutes from the city centre but we used the electric scooters to get in and taxied back.

• Robert (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswert - Das Hotel ist familiengeführt und sehr persönlich. Die Besitzerin war super nett, und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung für den Preis. Als unser bestellter Fahrer nicht auftauchte u uns zum Flughafen zu bringen, hat uns die Besitzerin innerhalb 5 Minuten ein Taxi mit Festpreis organisiert.

• Fiona (8/5): Tidy hotel good value for money but a taxi ride into Reykjavik - Easy access, warm and comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Single room was quite small with no tea or coffee making facilities in the room ( although available in the breakfast room area Location was outside the main area of Reykjavik and in hindsight a more centrally located hotel would have suited better but other wise it was all good.
• Michel (10/5): - Bien qu’excentré par rapport au centre de Reykjavik il n’en demeure pas moins à quelques minutes en voiture, l’environnement est très calme. L’hôtel est très propre et le petit-déjeuner est complet. Mention spéciale pour les tanches de saumon fumé c’est excellent ! Le seul point négatif qui n’incombe pas à l’hôtel est que ous avons été réveillé tard dans la nuit et tôt le matin par les bruits de portes des chambres voisines. Certaines personnes sont vraiment irrespectueuses !

• Florian (10/5): Modernes Hotel mit außergewöhnlichem Frühstück - Das Frühstück ist super lecker, reichhaltig und vielfältig. Auf Iceland kaum ein vergleichbares gefunden. Die Zimmer sind schön modern und funktional. Die Lage an sich ist nicht schlecht, aber man muss schon immer 20-30 Minuten für den Spaziergang in die Stadt einrechnen. Nach einem langen Tag in der Stadt, kann das anstrengend sein. Oder man fährt mit dem Auto, was für uns aber keine Option war.

• S_Hvass (8/5): Nice hotel outside the city centre - We stayed here three separate times during our 11‑day trip to Iceland. We had 3 one‑night stays, and all of them were really nice. The hotel is located about a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre, and the area is quiet and peaceful. Everywhere in the hotel is clean, neat, and decorated in a cozy way. The rooms are a bit small when you have two large suitcases, but they are also cozy and have good beds. The hotel staff are friendly, and we were warmly welcomed all three times we checked in. The breakfast is simple but good and has everything you need, and during the day free cake and chocolate are available for guests. There is free parking right outside the door. The only complaint was that the rooms were quite cold, especially the bathroom, where the floor was freezing — but we did visit Iceland during the cold season.

• Judith261 (9/5): Sehr modernes und ruhiges Hotel - Das Zimmer ist sehr modern eingerichtet und alles war super sauber. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns die gute Isolierung, man konnte seine Zimmernachbarn und auch Gespräche auf dem Flur gar nicht hören. Das Frühstück war auch toll. Das Buchungssystem hat uns ein falsches Zimmer zugewiesen, sodass wir versucht haben mit unseren Tür-Code in ein Zimmer reinzukommen, welches bereits belegt war. Das hat natürlich nicht geklappt und uns wurde schnell geholfen. Spät am Abend haben dann andere Gäste versucht, in unser Zimmer reinzukommen, weil auch ihnen ein falsches Zimmer zugewiesen wurde. Das war nicht so toll.

Room was larger than expected and super well furnished, equipped and clean! You won't find anywhere better! There was a lift which did not seem to go to level 3 where we resided - had to carry luggage up from ground floor and back down.

• Andrea (9/5): So delighted by this hotel! Looking forward to our next visit. - Our room was large, modern, and extremely clean. It had everything we needed. The location is excellent (in the heart of everything) with free parking. And the staff were great. Each cake at breakfast was better than the last. We’ll be back! The only thing I can say is that the bed and pillows could have been a bit more comfortable. But otherwise everything else more than made up for it.

Het bed ligt heerlijk en het is ‘‘s avonds heel rustig. Ligt wel op 15-20 minuten lopen van het centrum. Maar het voelt op straat heel veilig. Goed ontbijt en degene die het verzorgde, was super aardig. Ik ben nooit zo’n fan van douchegordijnen, maar gezien de beperkte ruimte, snap ik het wel!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Location to main city centre is about 20mins walk. Room was probably too small for 2 people. Sadly our stay was ruined by a bad smell (drains?) which started in the evening, seemed worse in the downstairs breakfast area.
