- Mrsgb2b (6/5): Girls trip - location was good, not a very clean place on the top floor (41) never had any available towels or umbrella's for the beach! the amount of money we paid and can't get on the beach (8am) used the VIP ($100 day) valet and the staff were speeding in the cars and very rude!
- MESUT_MA (2/5): Absolutely not recommended - poor management, dirty rooms, noisy resort - The bad experience started with the fact that we couldn't check in until around 5.30 p.m., even though I had booked an early check-in for $50.00 extra, which was not visible in the hotel system. Nevertheless, we were promised the fastest possible check-in and that they would contact us as soon as the room was ready. Since no one contacted us, we drove to the hotel after 4 p.m. back to inquire. Long story short, no one knew anything. After a few back-and-forth phone calls, we were assigned a room. When we entered the room, we immediately noticed an unpleasant smell.The room smelled strongly of marijuana and contained visible residues. Most unacceptable was that I was there with my family. We found a joint on the balcony and a second smoked joint inside the safe. A child being exposed to this is entirely unacceptable. Melvin the guy at the reception was the only one, who was very helpful and frindly in arranging another room, which was fine, but the situation resulted in the loss of most of our first day. Next day, we wanted to speak to the manager. Other reception staff tried to stop us and promised that the manager would get back to us. Although we contacted the manager by email and left messages on his answering machine, no one has gotten back to us in the two months since. The management doesn't care about its customers at all. This attitude is evident throughout the entire facility. The rooms are not clean, the valet parking service is disastrous and very poorly organized, the swimming pool is dirty, and the clientele is very loud and badly behaved, especially in and around the elevator. Therefore, I would absolutely not recommend this resort.
- G14G (2/5): Very poor Reception Staff - We booked our stay here through Airbnb But we had to check in at the reception and pay a fee for a wrist band to use the hotel facilities which we were aware of The issue is with the Reception Staff Firstly she was not able to find the booking No apology for the wait Didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing Secondly she did not explain what the breakdown of the charge was on my credit card And Finally She Gave No Directions to the lifts which caused us to go up 25 floors in the wrong lift When I returned to the reception after dragging all our luggage half way across the hotel she informed us with No Apology the lift we required was in the opposite direction
- annf430 (2/5): Terrible, stay elsewhere - The check-in experience was horrible. The overnight front desk guy Alex is a moron. He didn’t seem to understand what a reservation number was. He couldn’t find my reservation even though I confirmed it a couple hours earlier today. Said they don’t use reservation numbers… huh?! This went on for about 10 minutes. I confirmed I was at the right hotel, Lyfe Hollywood FL, yes. I listed the name of 10 other colleagues also stayning here - does he have their reservations? Through an endless haze of his confusion oh, he found it. I had told him I was here for business and he wanted to ramble on about beach chairs. I said I won’t have time for beach. He proceeded to ramble on further about beach chairs. WTF dude - do you have any ability to read the room? Obviously, no. I get to my room- someone else’s black hairs are everywhere. Let me just take a shower and wash this bad start off, nope. Shower is gross and the light doesn’t work. Sigh, I’ll call to see if maintenance can do something about the light tomorrow. lord knows front desk dude couldn’t do something as challenging as a mairequest! I’m going to have 5 nights here, ugh!

- jessiebX9495MA (10/5): Is this in the USA or the Caribbean? - Nadine, Junior and most of the hotel staff were FANTASTIC. This place had everything I needed for a stress reliever. The location on the beach, 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths, roof top jacuzzi, game room, bar and restaurant was above my expectations. We had amazing views of the city, beach and sun sets. It didn’t feel like we were in the USA. I thought I was in the Caribbean. If you do not have a passport, this is your spot!!! I wish the jacuzzi stayed open longer. The views from the roof top are Amazing at night. I needed the water therapy as I am recovering from a car accident.

- allans789 (10/5): Fabulous Nadine beautiful unit!! - My wife and I were travelling all day and were physically exhausted. We arrived at 7pm and completely blown away by the welcoming by Nadine at the front desk. She empathized with our exhaustion. We’ve booked it last minute, and it was not even registered on the hotel itinerary, but she made it a breeze working extra hard to find our reservation and succeeded. We walked into our unit and were blown away on how beautiful it is. We are going to have a fantastic week thanks to Nadine giving us fantastic welcome in this spectacular two bedroom suite.

We booked through booking.com and he couldn’t find our reservation in the system. Aside from all those complications at the late time of night. Holding all of our baggages.He assured us and he apologized even though it was out of his control. He made sure that we did not walk away unsatisfied. First impression is everything and I was upset and he calmed me down he assured me that once I walk through that door nothing else matters. - TJHood (10/5): Nadine Ellis - I called prior to arrival and requested a room on a low floor because I read complaints about long waits for elevators. I got a room on the 3rd floor which had one problem after another. Nadine Ellis offered to change my room, but I declined. She addressed each problem and when there was just one too many, I agreed to change rooms. The elevator wait was not bad, my room (34th floor) and the rest of my stay was perfect. Once we arrived at the hotel they told us we had a certain room number and once we get to the room the keys didn’t work. They gave us the wrong room number and had to get us into the right room. All this took over an hour and having kids under the age of four, this was kind of disappointing having to wait to get to our rooms and get settled. The amenities were nice but the having a suite for 4 people and getting to the beach and trying to get four chairs they wanted to charge us an for the 2 more chairs since they have a policy for only 2 chairs per room.

My recent visit to Lyfe Resort and Residences was sadly marred by a deeply frustrating experience with their valet parking and very rude personnel. While the resort itself held promise, their valet parking left a lasting negative impression that overshadowed any positive aspects of my visit. So beware, you will be scammed and treated very rudely.

The valet was completely disorganized and the main valet person actually yelled at me the first night because I was supposed to come back out to the valet stand and tell him my room number-? (I've stayed at a million hotels and I've never heard of that.) The paint on the ceiling of my room was peeling. Tiles in the bathroom were falling off the wall. There were no linens for the pull out couch (requested them several times and they never arrived). There were long lines for the elevators. It was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. When I voiced my concerns to the front desk at check out the rude employee gave me a $39 credit for a $1000 room charge. Just awful.
- thep933 (2/5): Filthy, Misrepresented, and Host Went Silent - We had an absolutely terrible experience at this property. Upon arrival, the apartment was filthy stained bed linens, hair in the bedding and bathroom, and even a used bar of soap left in the shower. Clearly, it had not been cleaned between guests. My wife and I had to spend our first night cleaning and buying detergent and bleach from Walmart just to make the bed usable. Although the host later offered to send someone to clean, it was far too late since we had already done it ourselves. The apartment was advertised for 5 guests, but there were only enough clean pillows and bedding for 3. The rest were stained or missing. The garbage disposal was broken, causing foul-smelling water to back up into the sink whenever the dishwasher was used, making the kitchen unusable. The host initially promised compensation but then stopped responding altogether. Completely unacceptable service I would never stay here again and do not recommend this property to anyone.

She had to get new sheets because her sheets was dirty on her cart. The cleaning lady was extremely nice who came into reclean, but the floors were empty. The walls were filthy and so was the sheet.

- Maribel (6/5): - The elevator situation was bad. Long wait times to go either up or down. The complimentary beach chairs and towels are divided in sections. If you rent through Airbnb or with the hotel directly. Which means if you come with a big party and some reserved different ways you cannot have beach chairs close to each other. The towels are also restricted to be used only in their specific sections. Say you rented through the hotel and want to be with your group that rented through Airbnb, you cannot because it’s a separate section. There is no ice machine at the resort and the ice makers in the rooms do not produce enough for a beach day. The TVs are not connected to any WIFI so although it is a smart TV, you cannot use it u less you connect your own device to it with a HDMI cable. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Their only restaurant on the 9th floor serves a Bagel with Salmon for $27. Had to walk in torrential rains 10min to Enjoy Cafe. View from the 33rd floor was the best. Elevators take a long time to get there. Valet service takes 15 min to bring your car around. So overall mediocre for the price point.

- ky_pa27 (6/5): Great location, unit and amenities, poor staff at front desk and valet - This review is geared to the building itself as the unit we rented was an Airbnb and we had a good experience in that capacity. Valet is a hot disaster. First they drive your cars like its an Indy 500 race track. You have to scan your ticket to notify them you want your car which is fine but it typically took us having to ask them if our car was coming to actually get it. When I checked in, I alerted the Valet manager who was working that we had a late checkout. He said it would be am additional $20 for the extra half day parking. I asked if he was charging me for the full stay at this time including the late checkout and he said yes. Went to get our car at 3pm on our checkout date and they basically held it ransom until I paid an additional $40. I showed them my charge on my card, described the manager that was working that day and what he told me and they said it was wrong and I had no choice but to pay. I asked if they could have their manager come down because you get the cars on a different floor than where you drop them off and they refused. Front desk was just as disorganized. At check in, they had my husband as the primary guest instead of me and he was waiting with the car so I had to get him to come in so we could continue. Then they send you a link to register but it was timing out and took forever to get the info to go through. Also talked to them about late checkout confirmed it was on my account and the keys were set up properly. Stopped by the desk the night before because if the key deactivates you can't get into the building from the beach or use the elevators to go up. Again confirmed it was set up. Check out day, went to come back in the building at 1230 and they didnt work. Luckily someone was there to let me in. Went to the desk and he was like yeah it was never set up right so he had to reactivate it. The owners of the unit were very nice and accommodating our schedule and the unit was great, amenities are nice, location is good, the staff just has no idea what they are doing. You get a different answer every single time or required to pay an extortion fee to get your car back.

- Annamareia (6/5): - First and foremost, I would like to highlight that I contacted the hotel multiple times prior to my stay both via phone call and Expedia message. We had a late flight landing at 12am and expected to arrive at the hotel around 1-2am. I called specifically asking if I needed to pay for the additional night and if I had booked correctly or if early check in was allowed in order to ensure that we would be able to check in immediately and seamlessly to our room upon arrival. However, as we arrived to the hotel to check in at approximately 2AM I was met with confusion from staff and was told there needed to be a note in the system. To which there was, I was told the note included the incorrect date. However, there was no attempt to rectify the situation and our room was apparently booked at the time by someone else. This was an extremely confusing and frustrating experience as someone who is extremely meticulous and detail oriented. We ended up finding a motel in the middle of the night for a few hours in what was apparent to be an unsafe neighborhood (many people walking around intoxicated or under the influence of various substances). I called a few hours later around 8am and explained the situation to 2 additional people who finally said our room was ready. The room it self could use an overall upgrade especially the bathroom and the condition is not as great as the photos suggest. The view was obstructed (7 fl) by the restaurant on the beach so Dulled the experience even more.

- Christine (8/5): Two bedroom suite no Frills - We started the trip off by the hotel canceling our stay but they were able to correct it pretty quickly. The hotel was a little run down and it took on average 30 minutes to get an elevator every single time we used it. It was very nice to have a two bedroom apartment style room with beach views so the trip wasn’t too bad. They did have a lot of rules pertaining to your “status” and we had to wear wristbands to show our status. Luckily we were considered a little higher status since we were hotel guests but we still couldn’t use the lounge chairs in the sun ocean side on the pool deck. Overall review, great place for two bedrooms and privacy but absolutely no frills.

Having valet tell us 20 min to wait for our car after we already have waited for the one elevator to go downstairs was ridiculous when we have to get to the airport. Also the king bedroom the shade was broken so we couldn’t even look out from the king bed. We talked to the front desk and was told someone would come up and fix it and they put a temporary fix on it and unraveled again while we sat in the room. They said no one would be able to fix it until the day we left. Also the balcony seating was awful. Cushions were dirty and mismatched. The pool and beach bar service were wonderful and always asking if we needed something. One pretty blonde pool bar worker didn’t tell us the tip was already included…my husband tipped her on top of already being tipped and she never said a word…I thought that was distasteful.

We paid for an early check in and as we checked we were told that we would be able to access our room within the hour. We actually received a message that our room was ready and made our way back to the front desk just to find a rather rude employee that told us that there was no early check in and to step aside until 4pm. It has only been 3 hours since we started this ordeal. Not a good way to start what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. The staff here are not helpful at all. What a shame

Even worse my wife asked for a quiet room they give us the 10th floor directly over the swimming pool and DJ's it was so noisy the first night we couldn't sleep, i wrote them for that reason on the very first day , again nothing ! Very disappointing for the price we pay . People seems like they didnt want to help at front desk , some says it's not us go see the next one etc.. Would not come back !

- ggpopg (6/5): Champagne views. Operated on a beer budget. - This resort looks gorgeous. However thats about it. They are struggling to make ends meet. They add a 20 percent service fee to every purchase that is already priced up! I know what you’re thinking …..isn’t that the gratuity? No. That would be another 20 peecent if you want to provide for the hard-working servers. Well- you might now be thinking… doesn’t that fee support the amenities and the upkeep of the resort? Nope as soon as you check in, you need to pay a $40 per night resort fee and a $35 per night, valet parking fee. There is no other parking in the area, even though you’re in a city. RULES! There are too many to list but I will give it a shot! Towels-Pool-Restaurant! Do not leave your pool towels or spot unattended for 30 minutes or more they will get taken away and you will be responsible for them financially. If you like sunshine on spring break. This resort is not for you. The buildings block A lot of the sun creating wind making the pool cold even in 80° weather. The pool is not really heated, even though they say it is. If you call the front desk, they will tell you the pool is open till 10 PM. I tried to go swimming at 7:30 and was kicked out. They close at 7:30. Any blue seat by the pool is for residence owners only. However, look at my photos. If I paid to live here, I’d be so miffed that the furniture was not maintained. Even worse, all of the brown furniture that we were allowed to use as guest is rundown and not as pretty as the pictures. The resort cannot keep up with the clientele. There’s a restaurant next to the pool which is supposed to be fancy, but it’s really mediocre food. We paid $228 for a burger, a pasta dish, a salad and a flatbread pizza( that included tax, a 20% service fee and a 20% tip. ) I ordered a latte one afternoon_ with a shot of Kahlúa in it because I was cold. It was delicious and $37. Also, they don’t put prices on their menu see photo. I guess they just make them up as they go along. Beach! In order to get chairs you need to hike down the beach 2 resorts over away from this resort, stand in line and be escorted to a section that is crammed with white chairs. You won’t get a view of the ocean because the people in front of you are busy fighting for space and close enough for you to touch. A fight literally broke out while I was there. You’re better off, bringing your own gear, hauling it to a separate spot and setting up. The beach is also dirty and has cigarettes that people smoked and threw on the sand about every 2 feet. Everyone vapes in the elevators and everywhere else so if you want to smell skunk pot the whole time you’re there or have your kids smell it …then this is a good place for you. Elevators ! Avoid them at check in and check out times. So 11am- 12pm and 3pm to 6( don’t forget the dinner rush) or you’ll wait 30 minutes minimum. They’re over packed. I don’t know how they’re safe. And don’t forget you’ll be smelling skunk pot. This definitely has a party vibe not a family vibe. Gym 90% of the equipment is broken.

Nadine was so sweet and accommodated all our needs. The food was great and view was spectacular. Short Uber ride to the Broadwalk. Walmart close and resort had a cart, unloaded our groceries and delivered to our room. Amazing week.

- ShayN166 (2/5): Worst Managment - We recently stayed at Lyfe Resort for spring break. I want to emphasize how appalling management treated us when an accident occurred at their premises. First day on arrival my daughter almost got hit by valet backing up a vehicle aggressively and I politely reported straightaway to management about the incident. Day Two, was not any better severe wind have been an issue and management did not warn guests or protect guests from possibility of debris or reclining beach chaise can be easily blown by wind. The back of the reclining metal beach chaise slammed on my daughter's friend's face injuring her with a gash just above her eyelid. 2 nurses who happened to be staying at the resort tried to helped clean the wound but based on their assessment the wound would require stitches. I rushed her immediately to urgent care, we paid medical expense out of pocket including uber to/from the resort. I informed and asked Pablo (who was also present) to help me find the nearest urgent care, he offered to contact 911 but I will need her parents approval and had to notify them as well of the accident. I was assured management with assist with accident report and necessary assistance. We only personally requested reimbursement for incurred medical out of pocket expense and uber, we provided copies of documentation ie copay receipt / medical release form and uber receipts. Still same scenario we will submit and it will take 24 hours and we will have the reimbursement. Day three, still nothing was done. I reached out to Anke Graichen, General Manager explaining the entire situation via email along with proof of injury. She connected us with Mr. Frettoloso and yet I was assured he will handle it (still no respond or update on his end till to this day I am writing this review). Day 4 Ms. Justino sent an electronic copy of the accident report and Day 5 Ms. Paterson emailed to check in and yet still no one responded about reimbursement payment to us. This caused so much anxiety, stress and the fact we did not to get to enjoy our vacation to relax by beach since the accident required her not to go in the water to avoid getting infected. Both girls were bummed to not enjoy the beach or pool and wind up renting a car to keep their minds off the accident. Was hoping for a relaxing holiday break - awful experience. Lastly, I want to share the following videos although the intensity of the wind is less on this video can you imagine the ferocity on the day of the accident how intense the wind to cause such injury. In the photo you can see the cut is deep enough to expose flesh and stitches was necessary to close the wound since bleeding would not stop. - Verified traveler (8/5): Great, but not so great!! - We stayed 6 nights on the 33rd floor. The elevators were extremely slow. We had to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes just to get into one. The front desk told us the pool was open until 10p.m. on Saturday, but the staff on the 9th floor pool deck closed it at 7:30 pm. We were able to get a lounge chair and umbrella everyday on the beach, the guys out there are amazing. We did get charged extra for "administrative" fees, we have no clue what that was. The valet parking was fantastic and very easy to use.

- Tandreski (4/5): Bait & switch - Absolutely do NOT waste your money on this place. •ZERO pool chairs ever available, and the ones that are available are not usable unless you are an owner. •in-unit Washer was broken •Reserved and paid for a king oceanfront room and was given a broken queen ocean view room, but still charged me for an ocean front •we soggy carpet and horrible smell in hallway •very slow elevators •over crowded •fees for everything •terrible wifi at the resort and no service •managers never got back to me all week long, after I was told numerous times they would reach out about my issues. •Nadine at the front desk is the best thing that resort has. She is patient, kind and truly cares about the guests. She is their only asset! She apologized every time. There are MANY places to stay in Hollywood, FL. Do not waste your money on this one.
- Rob (10/5): 2 night stay - We had a very nice room, accurately described at hotels.com. Didn't have to take sheets off or put towels in a pile. Left it as it was when we entered the room. Very convenient place at the beach.
- Dawn (10/5): - Everything was wonderful !! From the suite to the food !! Definitely will book again !!
- ROSELYS (10/5): - I really like everything, except the umbrellas and loungers on the beach. We had to wait almost an hour to get one. According to the beach workers, there weren’t enough!
- Hanny (8/5): - the room was not as clean as expected there was a cockroach running around the kitchen, vallet always took forever, had to wait forever to obtain the car eventhough the car was asked with time, the staff for the brunch dont know all the information from their position, we where given wrong information about the brunch, i think there should have been more elevatiors, always had to wait a long time to get in the elevatiors, and a lot of people in one elevator is not soothing.
