I booked a dbl queen on the booking app but when it transferred to the hotel it came in as a king single, the whole place was booked but the manager was quick on his feet and found us an air mattress for my two daughters, and was very accommodating when it came to bedding, and the next day at check out he was very flexible regarding late check out. The parking, they definitely need more of it, or a designated street parking area strictly reserved for the hotel guests and their extra cars. The only reason why we didn’t have a spot was because another group staying there had 3-4 vehicles total and took up a lot of the parking on our end.

The staff was nice, and the continental breakfast was adequate. They were quite a few choices. The bed was comfortable, and it was plenty of bedding. Our heater worked really well in our room. This hotel really needs to be updated. It clearly had signs of wear. The carpet was stained. The toilet seat was wobbly, and our outside chair was broken. It also needed a deep cleaning.

- Dionne (8/5): Beautiful spot - I loved the location! It was so pretty. Also the size of the King room with the fireplace, it was huge Well, with the exception of the electric fireplace there was no heat. You could only set the fireplace for 4 hours, so in the middle of the night I would wake up and have to turn it back on since we were cold! Also the bed was so uncomfortable! It was a king bed which we loved, but it was hard! My hips and back literally ached.

It would be nice to have more than one chair on the deck and a shelf in the shower so one didn't have to bend over to the floor to get to the body wash. Nice breakfast choices.

- Shelli (9/5): Great weekend stay, with awesome views!! - The location was amazing! The view was one I'd never seen before, with Spouting Horn off in the distance. The room was comfortable, and the pillows were great! Parking was close to the room, and there was no traffic at all. We walked across the Hwy to a restaurant, convenience store, and great pizza at The Tide Pool. Walking down the Hwy on the ocean side to the crosswalk, and meandered back along all the stores and restaurants. All in all, a good weekend. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Such a nitpick item, but I'm going to mention: A wipe down of the surfaces like fireplace unit glass & windows, because when the sun shines in, dusty surfaces really stand out. Other than that, we had a great time and the unit was clean.

Mgr explained that the local building code wouldn't allow it at its location because of geology. They are in a permitting process for a fire pit. (I plan on staying again, hopefully with another couple, and enjoy the "cove.")
- Yayu (10/5): - WOW. We literally had a little house to ourselves with a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors. It was exactly like a home. The setting was cozy and comfortable with a usable kitchen (many utensils that we didn't get to use). I really really enjoyed staying at this place. It's also very close to the main street in town and right by the sea. Parking was free and right outside our door. The door lock is by the last digits of your phone number. Such a scenic location. I would totally stay again. Breakfast is very simplistic and pre-packaged, barely satisfactory.

The idea you could see a whale from our room was very misleading. The carpet was so dirty I spent time looking for another hotel. I have pictures if you want them. The shower curtain was dirty and the bath mat towel had dirt on it as well.

- Alea (8/5): Fantastic location, even better views with a rock solid price point! - Great location! Walking distance to multiple restaurants, a coffee shop and even a dispensary for 420 friendly travelers although be advised smoking is not permitted on property. Private beach entrance was super intimate and a great amenity. Beautiful views of the bay from the hotel room as well! We were the only unit that didn’t have a screen door which was a bummer as we would have like to have it open to enjoy a summer breeze in the night. The bed was a bit creaky and uncomfortable and parking was at times hard to come by but there were was other spaces to park on the nearby street

- Susie (7/5): Nice place, great view needs heat. - They let us stay one hour longer to watch the King Waves out the window. It was a wonderful view out the window. The room was 58 degrees when we walked in the room. It took 4 hours to get the heat to 67 degrees. Also the fireplace was turned down so low you could see the pilot light but there was no flame ever. It was ridiculous.

Limited parking, only Handicapped space left one night.

And the neighborhood was very nice. The selection of items for breakfast was good. We also loved having the great view of the ocean from our room! A little bit better selection of bedding might be more comfortable.

Tidal Waves, one of the best restaurants in the area was just around the corner, so we could walk to it. The room was dated, but comfortable. They had a wine sale flyer in their welcome folder in their room but when I went to purchase a bottle for my mom's day they told me they no longer carried an license for alcohol which is fine just take out the ads from the room so the customer does have different expectations.

- Jennifer B Robles (9/5): Amazing views - The view was beyond wonderful! Sitting outside our room drinking my morning coffee as waves crash and seeing the sunrise and later the Sunset.....Priceless! Room was a little outdated but comfy. Had a slight issue with the TV but got fixed. Open wires in bathroom where a light should be. Coffee maker was not cleaned...still had used coffee filter in it. Just minor issues compared to the overall amazing experience.

- Constance (8/5): - The view from this property is unbeatable! Wow! We had an up close view of the entire Depoe Bay. It would have been a great place to sit on the balcony and watch for whales in the bay, but the weather was super rainy and windy while we were there. If I didn’t have an injured foot, we could have walked to restaurants for dinner. The location was very convenient to town. The property itself is a bit dated but was clean.

Breakfast was good with lots of choices for a small, cute dining area. Easy to drive or walk downtown for some excellent restaurants!

- Steve (10/5): - We will return. Perfect for wife and I for a quick getaway weekend. An opportunity to silence everyday life. We stayed in room 10, the "panoramic view" room. It was perfect. Views are breathtaking. Staff got us checked in about an hour early. Breakfast was pretty good for a smaller "continental" breakfast. We love that we could sleep with the window open and hear the waves crashing up against the cliffs. The property and building shows its age, lots of little touch-ups that could be done to hide its age, but overall, very cute, very quiet, perfect place to stay in Depot Bay. WE WILL BE BACK!
