- Paul (6/5): Good for 1 night if u need hotel near the airport. - initially very welcoming hosts, however due to some confusion between 2 other guests arriving early the next morning and the owner, these guests tried twice to enter our room at 5am and woke us up, and were talking loudly to the owner on loudspeaker and the host arrived to tell them to sleep on the coach. The stay was very good apart from this. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast OK. The host didn’t offer an apology for our sleep being interrupted and no discount offered, not that I was seeking it, but it would have been a nice token gesture. Absolutely nothing to do in local area and this villa is ideal for 1 night stay if you have a flight the next morning, if other guests don’t try to enter your room!

- David (10/5): A Fabulous Place to Stay in Muscat ... - I can only say my Stay was absolutely Fabulous, The staff were all so Welcoming to me, the location is perfect to explore Muscat... My Room was amazing !!! It was Huge !!! Also had a Great Balcony to sit out on .. The Air Con was First class too !!! A Supermarket and a Fabulous Coffee Shop are just a 10 minute walk away...

- Verified traveler (10/5): Personal and friendly guest house. - Excellent alternative to 5 star plastic hotels in Muscat. Staff and owners helpful, comfortable rooms with good bathroom, overhead fan as well as air conditioning, in house phone, Internet and printer facilities. Muscat is spread out so you need to organise transport wherever you stay - the owners had excellent transport/taxi contacts who never let us down and were reasonably priced. Good breakfast included in the fee.

- Marie (10/5): Perfect Base for Exploring Oman - Staying at Behlys Villa was the best decision I made for my trip to Oman. I had an early international flight and arrived at 930 am, exhausted. The housekeeper gave me some tea and quickly cleaned the room and let me check in early so I could get a quick rest before exploring Oman. The included breakfasts in the garden is simply lovely. I was cooked my own omlette and had nice fruit salad and breads. Over breakfast, Mic, the host, helped me arrange the perfect trip, and gave me many insider tips about the culture and places to visit that made it possible for me to do far more than I expected during my short stay. It was fun to talk with other travelers over breakfast- it was my first time in the Middle East and I was able to learn so much more than if I had stayed in a hotel. This was especially great as a female solo traveler and helped me feel very safe in the country. Mic went above and beyond to help, even on excursions I called him to be sure there would be time to go to a village and still catch my flight and he was happy to help. The villa itself is very nicely situated near a coffee shop and grocery store and it is very nicely decorated. Oman is a very interesting country and this was the perfect base for exploration!
