Guest Reviews
- Selahattin (6/5): -
- Kian Shoon Bernard (6/5): - It’s located at the riverside, nice fresh air. Onsite onsen was comfortable as it was low occupancy during our stay.
Pesce crudo a cena e grigliato a colazione, riso, verdure, natto, miso e frutta.
- Yeow (8/5): Very good - The facility looks quite dated from the outside, but the moment I stepped into the room, the river view as seen from the window was breathtaking! I feel like I want to stay there forever... The place is also very clean.
This is a family run business with wonderful service from the host. Didn't expect that the host offered the ride to the airport on the day of my check-out (he's driving out to run some shopping). Really doumo arigatou gozaimashita to him! The onsen is a bit not so well equipped and dated, but it's well maintained.
- Claire (6/5): Pleasant - - the calm of the place
- the situation
- breakfast veggies ok - no végétarien possible for the dinner
- the shower time and location (would be great for the price to shower in the room)
- the English level
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alina Sophie (10/5): - Yumeno Onsen is located near a beautiful river which I could see from my room and the dining room.
I really enjoyed my stay in this quiet and relaxing place. The Ryokan offers everything you need (Yukata, Toothbrush, Towels for body and face and a a razor, as well as tea and shampoo/conditioner/body soap in the Onsen itself).
The breakfast and dinner was amazing! I The Hotel offers a lot of different Washoku-dishes that you can barely finish it.
It was a 10/10 stay!
- Jeffrey (8/5): Overall a very nice stay. - The views and the gardens were great. We were right on the river, and the views from the baths were great. The rural location was serene and peaceful, and the hot spring baths were great Transportation to and from the train station. Bus ran only once an hour. There were not many restaurants available in the area, but luckily there was a convenience store at the train station.
- Chloe (10/5): Peaceful stay in Kochi - I absolutely loved staying here. It was so quaint and peaceful with the best view. It was in a great location with lots of sights nearby. Would definitely stay here again
- Barry (8/5): Charming old style onsen with good food. - Proper family run old style onsen. Food was terrific. Location by the river was lovely. Onsen was very good, not too hot! Nothing springs to mind.
- Terry (10/5): Tranquil setting and great onsen - The onsen was fantastic. We enjoyed the family bath that night and took a quick dip in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, giving us both a good night's sleep. It was great to lounge around in the supplied yukatas and winter jacket, taking in the spectacular scenery of the river. Although we can not speak any Japanese, we were able to communicate with the owner.
- MEI KAM DORA (10/5): - This hot springs hotel really nice, delicious meals.
Can see the beautiful river, ducks, birds and trees along Riverside 😍😍 from our room and during our meals
- Aki (8/5): -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hikari-partners (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Ka Po (6/5): Good enough for overnight stay in transit - A small family-run guest house in Kami, which is a small town with few shops and restaurants. The onsen was located just off the main road thus considered convenient (for self drive). All guest rooms (with Japanese tatami) were located upstairs with narrow corridor, thus we couldn't bring luggage up but pack some overnight stuff instead. Luckily parking was just outside complex, so we could retrieve things as often as we like.
We chose this Onsen as back up because our original booking was not operational after the recent typhoon. We managed to get a room with private toilet (while other rooms had to share toilet), common bathroom was a small size onsen (ideal for two people) with the necessary amenities. The onsen was on ground floor with a very short outdoor walk. We didn't have meal in Yumeno as we made our own arrangement. We were able to communicate with Owner in basic English and he presented us a little gift upon check-out, which was a kind and warm gesture.
