Very helpful, friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The train station and beach are walkable within minutes. There is a large, staffed snack room that offers beer, wine, and a wide variety of things to eat throughout the day. We enjoyed the hotel common bath and sauna, and opted for breakfast each morning, a five course meal which was prepared beautifully in front of us. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!

Fab toiletries and happy hour - which was 5 hours! Appreciated that preschool age children w their families have a limited timeframe at happy hour. Nice onsen. Washer and dryer on premises. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn’t offer plum wine or sake at happy hour. Definitely specify usable balcony. Our’s was a tiny platform, only room for ONE to stand!Too small for a chair - thus no outdoor furniture. Breakfast was expensive and must commit to a time slot. They do offer coffee, tea and muffin free to get you by until you find breakfast nearby.

• Shun N (9/5): Great stay a stop away from Central Kamakura, close proximity to beach, friendly staff. - The cleanliness of the room and facility was above what I expected. The close proximity of the hotel to the beach was also great for a walk. Also enjoyed the Sauna and the communal bath, as it was never crowded in late afternoon after checkout, late evening before going to bed, and early morning before checking out. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. I really enjoyed the Galette choices that were offerred. The only downside was the refurbishment which was going on just outside of the reception. There was a sheet which was blocking the view of the reception, restaurant (which was where breakfast was served), and the communal bath also had a sheet on the windows.

• Van Stolk (10/5): WeBase - a delightful gem In a corner of Kamakura - The breakfast was an unexpected wonderful pleasure. The hotel is a gem in a quiet corner of Kamakura. Close to a beautiful beach, close to shopping and attractions. The staff are carrying and attentive. Of all the hotels we stayed in this was our favorite. The sliding window was difficult to close it didn't bother us enough to say anything.
• Agnieszka (10/5): - The garden features a famous sculpture of a “cosmic” cat by Kenji Yanobe. Breakfast is served in a unique way: guests sit at a counter built around the kitchen and watch as delicious dishes are prepared before their eyes. The hotel is located in an exceptionally quiet neighborhood, 8 minutes from the ocean coast and 5 minutes from the Enoden train station... and the stay is made unique by the very hospitable staff, who go out of their way to fulfill the unexpected wishes of guests. I highly recommend a stay in Kamakura, which will be unforgettable thanks to WeBase.

Lounge with plenty of complimentary food and drinks. Nice sauna and public bath. Bath section was slightly worn out, not shabby in any way just a bit less luxurious than the rest of the hotel. Air ventilation machines in the bath area were a bit loud.
• Marcus (10/5): Japanisch-Bretonisches Crossover. Jederzeit gerne wieder. - Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr nah am Strand und gleichzeitig schön ruhig. Unser Zimmer war schön, geräumig und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Der absolute Clou war der Loungebereich, der schon morgens vor dem Frühstück und dann wieder ab 16.00 Uhr bis ca 21.30 Uhr geöffnet war. Hier gab es morgens schon vor dem eigentlichen Frühstück gratis Kaffee, Wasser, Tee und ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu Essen. Ab 16.00 Uhr dann auch andere Getränke (Bier, Wein, Sekt, Säfte,...) sowie eine leckere Auswahl kleinerer Speisen/Häppchen, alles gratis/ inklusive, das war schon sehr erstaunlich. Sehr schön, wenn man von einem anstrengenden Ausflugstag zurück ins Hotel kommt. Auch das eigentliche Frühstück war superlecker, bestand aus mehreren kleinen Gängen, die in einer offenen Küche teilweise direkt vor unseren Augen zubereitet wurden. Die bretonischen Galettes waren zwar nicht sehr japanisch, aber superlecker und frisch von der japanischen Teppan. Das Wetter als wir da waren, war eher bescheiden, aber da kann das Hotel natürlich nichts für. Ansonsten alles top.

• AKIKO (9/5): 大満足 - スタッフの方の接客、宿泊時のサービスがどれもよかったです。また前日に利用させていただいたレストランは料理のお味、盛り付け、接客に大満足であったので、翌朝の朝食の期待値も上がっていました。結果、想像を上回る満足感でした。 夜、朝とラウンジも活用させていただきましたが、無償とは思えないクオリティの高い内容と施設の綺麗さでした。 おかげで今回の旅行がとても楽しい思い出になりました。 夜のラウンジで楽しんでいた際、途中から利用された団体がいらっしゃいました。かなり長い時間飲み食いをされ、大声で盛り上がっていたのでもう少し周りに配慮していただければよかったなと感じましたが、ホテル側はプレートにもご案内されておりますし、落ち度は全くございません。ただ、そのあのに大浴場から出てきたメンバーの１人がフラフラであれだけ飲んでお風呂に入るのは危険で事故や怪我が起こってラウンジサービスがなくなるのは残念だと思うので何かしらの対策は取られた方がいいかもしれません。

We would like to praise above all the very friendly and helpful staff including those at the reception desk and at the hotel restaurant. We found the room spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. We also appreciate the free services that the hotel offers including the public bath and the lounge which unfortunately we did not have time to fully experience during our short stay. The only minor suggestion from us would be for the hotel to maybe offer a choice between buffet or set menu breakfast. While we really enjoyed the set menu breakfast, this does entail adhering to a reserved time slot. Because we were offered very similar choices of set menu for two consecutive days, we would have probably preferred the availability of more varied set options or the possibility of a buffet breakfast that does not require prior reservation. We are very happy with our stay here overall!

• HONGYI (7/5): - 位置不错，靠近车站和海滩，服务也还可以 早餐是那种按定好的菜单上菜的类型，虽然有一定的选择，两天的菜单都几乎一模一样，种类相对较少 座位是包厢或者围着厨师和其他的客人一起坐一圈的类型，相对不是很让人放松 可能也有个人原因吧，我感觉还是比较喜欢自助餐类型，希望能坐在窗边自由地聊天，吃饭
• shintaro (9/5): 非常に良い　一日でした。 - 海からも近いですし、大浴場の設備、部屋の広さ、ベットの質など、満足でした。 夕食は、外食をしましたが、朝食も非常に美味しかったと思います。 バイキング形式ではなく、一つ一つ　運ばれてくるレストランのような配膳で、 時間のある方には、非常に良い設えだと思います。 また、16時台には、お風呂の隣の広場で、 生ビールやその他のドリンクと軽食が　フリーになっていました。 非常に賑わっていました。 私は、サウナが好きなので、 サウナ自体には、満足でしたが、 水風呂が30℃と非常にぬるかったです。 チラーなど入れて17度以下にしてもらえると、 更に良質のサウナになると思います。 駐車場が数台あると認識していましたので、 問題ないと思っていましたが、 事前予約制なので、宿泊予約をする際に、駐車場の予約もすることを大々的にPRしてほしかったです。 1泊の近隣の地下駐車場の料金が7000円代だったので、 駐車場に関する事前案内は必須だと感じました。

The afternoon Aperitivo was excellent Each day I chose ‘ecological cleaning’ meaning basic services such as emptying bin and replacing some towels however the cleaner wouldn’t enter the room to empty the bin which was a bit problematic because we had baby diapers etc.

• MIKA (6/5): 残念でした。 - 清潔だった。 スタッフの対応の悪さ。 フリードリンクの少なさ。 お風呂を上がってから、汚れた私服を着なくてはならないシステム。(館内着を着て移動してはいけない）

• Zhuojun (7/5): A bit pricy but it’s more of a 3.5 star level place. - Breakfast is fancy but a bit waste of too many food. A formal brunch type is good however maybe a buffet type is more preferred or a breakfast set. The bathroom has limited space but actually it has room but just wasted by design. The upper windows have no curtain so the morning light is killing me.

• Pia (10/5): Clean, spacious, luxury hotel with Onsen - Great location just a few mins walk to the beach and to the train station. The onsen was super clean, and the rooms very spacious. The included breakfast was fantastic. The snacks were delicious. We’d go back to Kamakura just to stay here again! Nothing!
• Shannon (10/5): - A Fantastic Stay at WeBase Kamakura! We had an absolutely wonderful time at WeBase Kamakura. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived – truly some of the best we've experienced! Our room was incredibly nice and comfortable, providing the perfect relaxing space after a day of exploring. Plus, you can't beat being so close to the beach! The amenities were excellent too, adding to a thoroughly enjoyable and convenient stay.

• Austin (4/5): For this much money I’ve had much nicer experiences elsewhere. - Stylish, free evening time snacks and drinks, location is great. Surprise charges at check-in time for extra beds (not explained anywhere in writing), air conditioners could not keep up with the humidity and woke up in a muggy room with dangerously slippery floors.
• Meixuan (10/5): Chill & relax resort with personalised service - The room was spacious and clean. The toiletries were great too. There were many free lounge activities throughout the day to enjoy. The breakfast was superb!

• Jodi (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the morning and afternoon snacks and drinks. The staff were helpful, and the service was excellent. I appreciated weBase accommodating my need for gluten-free and having front desk staff that could speak English.
• Maria (10/5): We will stay there again we are going back to Japan next year. - Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes to the beach and about 15 to the train station but another ten minutes walking gets you to center of town. We did not use the trains because walking is nicer. It was very clean. The welcome lounge was outstanding with snacks and mimosas. It was our 20 wedding anniversary so we had a little champagne. Breakfast was wonderful, it is made to order with plenty of coffee.
