• Andrew Ismond (7/5): I had a great overall stay - Went for the Trinidad Midnight Marathon, the property was close to the venue and very close to restaurants and other places of interest. Had a good time, the staff were friendly and pleasant, and gave good recommendations for places to visit N/A

• Susan (8/5): All you need in a good location - Our self catering apartment was in a good location. Places to eat are near by. Facilities were basic but adequate for our stay. Towels were lovely and soft, the room was clean, the shower was good and the a/c was efficient. The staff at reception were very friendly. Pillows a bit lumpy but we still got a good night's sleep.

• Heini (8/5): Location is good. - I liked the location. City center is 15-20 mins. walking away. The streets were quiet at night and felt safe. Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated. Restaurants and supermarkets are pretty close by too. There was major construction going on next door; right under my balcony actually, so it way very noisy during the day. Not the hotels fault though.

The apartments have all yoiu need including a kitchen, AC , small balcony , TV etc. Helpful staff. Overall good value for money considering the location

• tashat400 (2/5): Staff is RUDE - There a was mix up with the location I was staying since there are two. I was at the wrong location and was rudely told I need to leave the room. I went to the correct location and a week later I stopped by the first location I went to to see the security guard there and found out that the same room I was ask to leave was still vacate a week later and the person that was to be in the room never showed up(one week to the day I got there). Very unprofessional staff and the communication is terrible.

• Geoffrey (9/5): Wonderful and cozy hotel. Good Location and staff all at a GREAT Price! - I made this reservation for my wife. She was traveling from Paramaribo, Suriname to Port-Of-Spain, Trinidad to attend to some business at the Embassy of Spain. The location was perfect and the rooms andf staff all met mine and her expectations. The value of the room was perfect for her trip. That there was not an extra blanket for the room and that the beds(there were 2 in her room) only had a fitted sheet for the mattress and one thin sheet on top. With the Air Co. on the room was cold and an additional blanket was needed. She did not ask the staff for an additional sheet or blanket so I dont know if they would have provided one without charge.
• Joshua (8/5): Overall an enjoyable stay, great value - Great location - really quiet, secure, restaurants and nightlife were all walking distance away, and it only takes a few minutes to get downtown. The room was clean and comfortable, all fixtures worked as expected, and contained everything you'd need for a few nights. There wasn't much staff around, but those who were there were really friendly and more than willing to help and answer any questions I had. There seemed to be a hiccup with the reservation while checking in, but the lady at the front desk was gracious and took care of it within minutes. Internet connectivity was hit or miss, but I wanna presume this was more a provider issue than anything else. When it worked though, it worked really well.

• Quinn (5/5): Skip this property - I liked the kitchen setup. I didn't like the fact that they don't clean the rooms, because after 3 or 4 days the trash cans are all full. Also no hot water in the shower.

• Kathleen (5/5): Passable - Before I arrived at the location I called to confirm my stay, informed I do not have a room, after going back and forth I informed Management of the problem, soon after the receptionist called me to say, there is a room available for me. Prior to that conversation she told me it were booking.com fault because they were completely booked.

Dogs barking all night, staff very loud and cussing and arguing during the days with each other; kitchen utensils - dirty cups with aging coffee stains, cutlery very old and bended -; bed fittings are two flat sheets, by morning one wakes up lying on the mattress, an old comfortable in the closet which is suitable as a doggie blanket. The bathroom has a flimsy shower curtain with hooks that falls off. The street smells of garbage plus locals are hanging out night and day - putting one on edge for their safety. Hot water and A/C worked. The titled floor in the room is clean (but cold on the feet at night). Best to pay $20US extra to chain hotel, for a more enjoyable and secured stay.

• Kemchau (10/5): I enjoyed my stay totally. - I love the location. We could walk to town or if you wish it is easy to get a taxi. The receptionist was helpful and kind. Friendly and welcoming, The rooms were clean and had all amenities that are needed. Water supply was great. Wifi, AC everything in great condition. I would be happy to stay here again.

• lisa (4/5): Not What’s Expected - Upon arrival, I was given a room without a balcony, as advertised. Then, when I went out the back door to smoke in the patio, I got locked out, cause lock froze. I had to squeeze through locked gate to get help from office She couldn’t fix it, so, could not get out door until maintenance took care of it the next morning. Later that evening, lock froze up again, and door would not open. Health hazard, and frustrating not getting what’s advertised, then it being in such poor condition. It’s dated and not at all what I expected when I think of a suite.

• San (1/5): Incompetent staff, dirty room. Buyer beware. - Incompetent staff and very poor room conditions. We left after 1 night due to a bathroom leak from the floor above into our room. Dirty floors and worn/dirty bed covers. Worst part is the incompetence of the office staff. They mischarged me more than $2500. Then made excuses about refunding the mistake. Beware of this hotel.
• Syed (9/5): Superb - This hotel is a bit basic but it is run very well and keep very clean. The room, bed and bathroom very comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh. Strong AC which is necessary for this humid city. Within 5 minute walking distances there are some nice restaurants. A two minute walk get you to a great little convenience store call Snack Pot where you get good, healthy sandwiches and meals at a very affordable price. A short taxi ride gets you to the downtown. I would definitely stay here again. Port of Spain VERY HUMID compared to other parts of the Caribbean.

• Novelle (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at this suite, the location is great and peaceful. In the afternoon you can walk to the park and enjoy a sweet ice cone from haagen daasz or mac donald and even tgi friday. It is also good to go from there to the malls and downtown. The only thing that i missed in the area is a supermarket that is a little bit closer than the massy store. The other thing is that when my boyfriend and I arrived at the place we had to wait because the front desk was not open so the lady had to go and get the keys. I also would recommend that the welcoming to your new guest could be much better because the lady was a little cold in her welcoming us. I also would like that they invent a kind of time sharing or card member for peoples who visit sun deck suites more often. I hope that sun deck suites rises and be kept secure and I surely would love to stay again at sundeck suites.

• garrasion1 (8/5): Perfect Location - The hotel is a very quiet place at night for those looking for rest its rooms are spacious and keep very clean by the friendly staff. You can prepare your own meals as the rooms are out fitted with its kitchenette .Its located in a perfect area for those who need to get around. Public transport is just 3-5 mins walk as various restaurants and bars supermarkets all surrounded the area and with 10 mins walk to the savanna for those looking to keep fit .
• Verified traveler (10/5): Short stay in Woodbrook - Staff was very accommodating. The room size was great including a cute balcony. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen. A double bed wasn’t available we had twin beds not bad. The location is perfect for everything, restaurants, bars, churches, transportation all within a five minute walk.
