- stephen (2/5): - This property is dirty and the individual rooms are worse. But the thing that stands out the most is how unsafe it is. Rooms are on the ground floor and the windows do not have locks on them, they can literally be just pushed open from the outside. We had to stick coat hangers in the ledges to make them secure, this combined with the transients in the area made us feel so unsafe that we only stayed the one night and checked out early.

Bathroom sink had a large hole and crack in it, only 2 of 4 light bulbs worked, no hair dryer, fridge had serious ice build up, bugs in ceiling light fixtures. Just needs a complete redo.

- Ian (1/5): We did not stay due to unsanitary room conditions. - The location is convenient. The rooms are very musty and smell of mold and smoke. The strong odours were too strong for our daughter to tolerate. We did not stay and turned our key in within 5min of arriving at the property. Very unclean. Streaks all over the counter tops, stained carpets. The room charge was $242 for one night and no refund option from the hotel. We ate the $240 to save ourselves a stay in unsanitary conditions. Do not waste your time. There are tons of better options.

- David (4/5): Not a family friendly place - I picked this place due to the reasonable reviews given on this website. But I am surprised at the high ratings it has received After experiencing this motel. But I will tell you that the biggest problem with this Motel is that they offer long-term rental . I think this attracts transient people. I found that there was small groups of men but I believe a few were drug users. This made me considerably uncomfortable and I decided not to even stay at the motel. I could not imagine if I was a woman staying here. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating though so the service was not that bad. The room appeared to be clean I did not trust the mattresses. The management of the motel needs to rethink its long-term rental Arrangements and the clientele it attracts. I would not stay at this Motel ever again until it cleans up its Act.

- PAMELA (4/5): - This property is located by the lake and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shops. Unfortunately it is very run down and not as portrayed in the pictures. We arrived late on our 1st night, while the host was friendly, we were presented with 2 keys on rubber bands and told not to lose them. Our room was barely the size of a small bedroom. It had no desk or counter space to put anything. The kitchenette was a small fridge with a microwave on top of it, and a coffee maker on top of that. Overall not what was in the online photos.

Go to Canmore, Banff that direction, it’s more like Switzerland…. Too expensive for what it is, Charged at the hotel some 3,10$ tourist tax - ridiculous !!!

Looks like cheap motel from the 90’s. - Convenient location Broken blinds, that were actually kitchen blinds so you have sunlight at 6 am in summer. The AC is extremely old so it’s impossible to sleep with the noise. Everything is way too old. The bathroom lights are connected to the fan and -not surprisingly- it’s so loud that you wake up everyone if you use it at night. Also, if you have to charge something (which you will in 2024) you have to disconnect the microwave or the tv. The mismatched furniture is a bonus.

- Julia (6/5): Decent spot - This is a basic motel but was clean and decently comfortable. We didn't need much so it fit the need. I have no major complaints. It was nice that there was air conditioning in the room however it was very loud! Kept making louder noises throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep but without it was too hot! The exterior looks worse than the interior, makes the place look run down but was decent inside. Perhaps they need a refresh of the outside!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The building and outdoor areas are in disrepair. The bathroom sink and faucets in our unit needed to be replaced as they were rusted and old to the point of dirty looking. There wasn’t a hair dryer or tissues - items we’ve come to expect.
