The towels could be replaced for thicker, better quality. The oven didn't feel as clean and smelt bad. Cutlery is quite worn and could be replaced.

Lack of Aircon a slight negative but fan worked well.

Everything was just so delightful!! We even got a number of a very nice taxi service that was right on time, proficient and we got the best service from them as well. Absolutely nothing! - Petra (8/5): Fantastic view and pool area! - The pool area is beautiful, along with the view from the balcony and the bed. Apartment was clean and had daily house-keeping, including fresh towels. The location was also good. We loved our stay! The kitchenware could be better - it had most of the things, but old pans that are not stick-free, no wooden spoon, metal spatulas, etc. Didn't always feel safe - lots of open doors, etc. and no safety measures in place.

- Monty (9/5): Just a very special place to relax and enjoy the magnificent view. - The view is outstanding. We were blessed to enjoy 3 lovely days there with wonderful weather. The breakfast was excellent. Maybe too much for our age group. Very generous helpings. Can't fault anything. Luckily we don't go out much at night these days . I think we would have battled with the gravel road driving up the pass to the Resort.
- Caitriona (8/5): Gorgeous sanctuary away from everything - Absolutely stunning views. Really really gorgeous. The pool looking out over the mountains and sunset were beautiful. The bathroom and shower (great water pressure) was great. Bed was comfortable. More than enough space. Would recommend if you’re looking for great views and solitude and having a quiet beer on the deck. I didn’t cop to this when booked but there’s no air conditioning. There was a fan which helped but during hot summer months would be difficult. Also to get those incredible views - it does take about 5 minutes to get to top of mountain, would recommend stopping for food and drinks before you get there so you don’t have to go back down. Restaurants were all relatively close but we were told to avoid driving at night so limits your time frame for dinner.

Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft erneut buchen. Vielen Dank Da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Die Ausstattung an Küchenutensilien hätte noch ein bisschen besser (vielfältiger) sein können. Aber für ein paar Tage war das vollkommen in Ordnung.

- Sonja (10/5): Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt mit spektakulärer Aussicht - Die Unterkunft hat eine traumhafte Lage. Die Aussicht auf die Lagune, das Meer und die umliegende Natur ist spektakulär. Die Apartments sind modern, sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Ruhe, die Privatsphäre und die Nähe zu Plettenberg Bay. Der Service und die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber waren ausgezeichnet (Check-In und es wurde uns Frühstück in den Bungalow gebracht). Wer will kann sich aber auch Frühstück in der gut ausgestatteten Küche selbst zubereiten bzw. weitere Mahlzeiten auf dem Grill auf der Terrasse. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle, die Komfort und Natur schätzen.

- Beatrice (10/5): TOP - L'appartamento è in cima ad una collina (il navigatore lo posiziona alla base, ma bisogna salire per 5 minuti in auto uno sterrato di facile percorrenza), per cui la vista dall'alto sul fiume che gi getta nel mare è mozzafiato. Inoltre il terrazzo è molto ampio e dispone, oltre che di un tavolo per pranzare, anche di un biliardo (vedi foto). Gli ambienti sono tutti molto grandi e confortevoli. Forse l'arredamento è un po' datato, ma nel complesso la nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva. Per la stagione invernale sono a disposizione due radiatori elettrici. Un ringraziamento a Magdeld per lo splendido cestino di benvenuto e le informazioni ricevute sulle attività nei dintorni. ///
- Carla (10/5): Fantastic views from a lovely apartment in nature - Gorgeous views out over the town and the bay, with our binoculars we could even see zebras down in the river braid. Great location for nature lovers. Walking/MTO trail right out of the back of the property, very quiet, we only saw one biker in 2.5 hours. Lovely little apartment, clean, bright, kitchen had everything to make a light meal. We opted to pay for breakfast delivery every day at 8:30am and they set it up on your dining table (choice of continental, sweet warm pancakes, or English style with eggs/bacon/toast/etc.). The continental breakfast is really big and also has 2 boiled eggs so it will fill you up. They all come with French press coffee/juice/yogurt/fruit. Excellent breakfast!! Housekeeping everyday so you do not have to worry about wet towels or where to put the trash. Hosts were around in the morning if you wanted to chat, always someone working about keeping the place in shape, friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again, we had a car so could easily come and go to the Robberg Nature Reserve or east to Tsitsikamma for hiking or Monkeyland/Birds of Eden - which we highly recommend both. Nice Checkers grocery store a few minutes drive back in town if you want to have a picnic dinner on your balcony. Just a fabulous area and Alkantmooi is very comfortable. We did not use the pool since it was winter but it looks very inviting. Nothing, but be prepared that it is up on the hill above town winding about 1km on a dirt rocky road so have a car or plan your transportation properly so you are not surprised.

- Shari (10/5): An absolute sanctuary! - An absolute sanctuary set high on a sunny ridge above Keurbooms river - but only 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay's fabulous restaurants and beaches, our self-catering unit was beautifully appointed. But we spent many a happy hour on the deck watching the light change the spectacular views as the sun set and the moon rose over the water. We loved the special touches, the lovely muffins and welcoming snack tray, the birdlife, the tranquility - and the gorgeous infinity pool! Pool towels would have been nice!
