Guest Reviews
- Lina (9/5): Great time in Rome, I liked everything. - The location is very nice, view from the window is a amazing and Benedetta was super friendly The apartment has a smell of old furniture, which didn't bother me but other guests didn't like.
- Aymeric (10/5): Excellent sejour, merci! - Emplacement remarquable.

- amal (4/5): Was bad experience - Apartment with room and sofa bed There is a long stairs before the tiny elevator where you should carry your luggage up the stairs for check in that you do yourself and through whats up they told me the keys are under the mat and checking out is the same we carry the luggage down the long stairs
The bath is in law sealing and bad curtains
- Lucia (9/5): I have spent a relaxing couple of days in this apartment and I would consider to come back if in Rome - The apartment is beautiful, walking distance from main touristic attractions and well equipped for a stay.
Spaces are generous, warm light and quiet.
The host is very nice and communication including check in and check out very easy

- Nicole Linnea (10/5): Simply 10 out of 10! Superb location and a very comfortable and elegant apartment - We really loved the place, good taste on the interiors and perfectly located in the best area of Rome. Appreciate the amenities in the apartment, I actually had my yoga session then we took our breakfast on the balcony. 10 out of 10
- Isabel (9/5): - L'ubication dans une rue très calme et charmante en plein centre ville. Pas de gel douche ni shampooing à disposition.
- Julie (9/5): Relaxing stay in central Rome - The atmosphere was the it for us with Via Margutta filled with lush green and the apartment giving on a nice garden and parrots chirping. It’s also a quick walk to the center of Rome and streets lined with shops and restaurant options.
- Damiano (9/5): Staying here felt like a peaceful hideaway in the heart of the city.We will definitely come back if we visit Rome again - What a nice surprise!
The apartment itself is cozy and well decorated. I’d say that the high ceilings and open space made it feel airy. I absolutely loved the bathtub in our bedroom but the best part was having breakfast on the balcony looking down on the beautiful courtyard.
- Sjd (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very cute and in a beautiful location. The only small gripe was that the apartment was not ready for us when we arrived. However Mrs Benedetta was very gracious and sorted it out.
- Evgenia (9/5): Superb - wonderful beautiful apartment in the very center, very good hostess.
- Jonathan (10/5): perfect - everything nothing
- Alexander (9/5): Possibly the nicest place to stay in the hip is part of Rome - Another reviewer said this place has soul, and that makes up for any other deficiency. It’s correct. It’s a wonderful, charming, slightly rustic, but also exceptionally welcoming and practical place to stay. It’s on famous side road in the middle of the most artistic part of Rome, all the Romans will know it, and write that your doorstep is all the action you could ask for. Special thanks also to our host who was very helpful dealing with special questions and queries. The place isn’t a hotel. It’s a bit dated, and there are some issues with the plumbing and the like. Also, might be difficult to get to if you’re particularly tall or heavy or have a great amount of luggage.
- Maya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Camilla (8/5): Very good - The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location.
Benedetta was very nice and friendly, always available when I asked her for something. Nothing.
Maybe as an advice a better cleaning.
- Nicholas (5/5): Passable - Location. Grubby couch covers dirty floors.
- Mariia (10/5): 👍🏻 - We visited the apartments in July 2024. We were with a little child. A great place. A great, responsive, attentive owner. Great service. This is the place after visiting which you do not want anything else. We will definitely come back here. -
- Dawn (10/5): We had a wonderful stay. - The street the apartment was on was very beautiful and in the perfect location, a block away from the Spanish steps. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. There was a large bedroom, a large family room, a kitchen and a bathroom. We communicated via Whats App to receive the key code and physical key. We were provided with very specific instructions and pictures directing us to the apartment which was very helpful because there were a number of different apartments. They also reserved transportation for us to return to the airport which I would highly recommend because obtaining any sort of transportation in Rome is very difficult and this was much cheaper. The air conditioning worked very well which is key in Rome - it was 104F when we were there. The bathroom was clean and on the new side however the shower was under a slanted room which may be a problem if you were on the taller side. I also wish we had gone to the restaurants on the block to try them out.
- Dana (9/5): Great place to experience Rome - The location is great, and the apartment is large, full of light and furnished in good taste. There is all you need for an excellent stay. Small improvements needed in the bathroom
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - Benedetta is outstanding host.We aprisiate her help and hospitality very much.
The location is really superb .The apartment is spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and charming balcony .
- Olga (9/5): Great, comfortable stay, we will be back. Higly recommended . - Great location, in the very center but no street noise, Benedetta was SUPER host. Internet worked well which was important for us. The shower in the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable for my husband who is 187 tall, but it was ok for me (167).
- Scott (5/5): Great location with a bit outdated and awkward layout of the apartment. - Location and host hospitality. Size of the bathroom especially the shower. The floor outside the bathroom was broken and a bit dangerous. The lack of elevator from ground to first floor with suitcases. The lack of living room set creating a lack of sitting area in the living room.
- Alzbeta (10/5): Great place to stay - Beautiful old apartment very centrally located, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. We especially appreciated the bathtub. The bed was comfortable and there were parrots living on a palm tree just next to the balcony. Definitely a place with a soul.
Also Benedetta was very friendly and helpful The kitchen was tiny and some dishes were dirty, but that wasn’t really an issue
- Janson (10/5): We couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for a few days in Rome. - Location right off Via Del Corso is ideal for getting everywhere in Rome. Close to Piazza Del Popolo, and walkable within :30 of everything except the far southern end of the center. Via Margutta is a charming, quiet, beautiful corner of a charmingly beautiful city. The bathroom shower is a bit awkward. I know space is a premium in Rome so they had to put it under a sloped ceiling but a different shower head could solve the problem for taller people.
- Deirdre (8/5): Enjoyed our stay in Margutta apartment as it had great character and charm. Benedetta was lovely, very helpful respondin - Great location, interesting area within walking distance of metro and cafes, restaurants.
Cupboard stocked with basic essentials.
Good storage in bedroom The bathroom is okay but shower awkward to use especially if talk but we managed!!
- Frank (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Comfortable appartment in a perfect location - The location is perfect, could not be better.
Also happy that there was airconditioning.
Mrs. Benedetta is very nice and helpful and gave us many tips where to go and even went to buy filters for the coffee machine for us 🙏🙏 The shower!! It is actually a bath with a shower and for tall people not comfortable and also slippery.
- Juan (9/5): Wonderful! - Perfect place for me. The location is excellent, 5 minutes walking distance of Piazza del Popolo, less than 10 minutes walking distance from Piazza di Spagna and 15 minutes from Fontana di Trevi. The neighborhood is fancy and quiet. A lot of luxury hotels nearby. The apartment is fully equipped with the essentials to cook if you want to. A Carrefour Express market is 5 minutes away where you can find a lot of fresh produces and everything you need. Benedetta, the host, was very attentive and kind and support everything I need during my staying. Also helped with an early checkin. The self checkin and self checkout procedures were smooth. The kitchen and the bathroom are little but totally renewed and perfectly functional. The windows and balcony offers you a great view of the surrounding neighboorhood. The AC works perfect. I totally recommend staying here for solo travelers or couples, a great experience of Rome is expecting you starting from this house... Nothing. Everything was fine.
- Kate (9/5): Superb - Location.
The old Roman style of the building.
The host Benedetta is very friendly and helpful.
Great view from the apartment. The shower is too small and squeezy.
- Niklas (6/5): Pleasant - Location is nice, Enough place, balcony, quite, bernadetta (host) is nice. Kitchen is shabby, also a lot of the furniture. And i dont mean that just because its old.
Bath is a mess, bathtub is shabby with that old whirpoolnozzels, and shower is 1.60 high. The guys who build that must have been not so clever. Also the half of the water lands in the livingroom if yo dont put a tovel there.
piano is not there anymore.
Like an airbnb, were you sleep in a house were people live, and of course they dont like that.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - Benedetta is a warm welcoming host, the apartment is superb as is the location.
- Timur (10/5): Fantastic apartment in a quiet and beautiful location - Fantastic place, we feel lucky to have found it: in the heart of Rome, but the same time on a very quiet, clean and beautiful street. Benedetta, the lovely lady who runs the place, was very welcoming and helpful, communication prompt and easy. The apartment itself is very nice and clean, with a flair of good old times, spacious and light, it has a wonderful view from the windows, no not windows — balcony doors, which are equipped with mosquito nets protecting the whole opening when necessary, so one can always keep those doors open. We enjoyed staying in the apartment very much and will definitely try to book it next time we come to Rome.
