Every associate—including the transportation staff—greeted us with warmth and a friendly smile. The room was very clean, and the food at the Placery was exactly what we needed to settle in for the evening. The beds were comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly for our family with young kids. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a great variety of options to start the day. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay again!

- Bernice (10/5): So very perfect for my final stay in Austin. - It was close to the airport and provided a lovely breakfast and a timely and efficient shuttle to the airport. All of the team (front desk, breakfast staff and shuttle driver) that I encountered were friendly and efficient. The fence and gate for parking control was a bit daunting and made my first impression feel less than welcoming.

We were able to take care of parking and everything the night before, making for an easier early morning, especially when the airport traffic is high. The shuttle is efficient and easy to use.

Our flight was super early so we took the free shuttle over to our terminal and it was easy peasy and eliminated stress. We missed breakfast because it was so early but they had some grab and go items which was nice. No complaints.

However, I object to having been charged for parking in their lot. I was tired and had a 2 pm flight so I slept in a little bit ... and when I went to check out and grab a little breakfast on my way out ... just before 10 AM, they had stopped serving ... and there was absolutely nothing to eat ... so much for breakfast included.

Nothing directly from the company, but google maps sends us in a way that we have to cross 4 lanes to get in the parking lot when I drove with the shuttle there's a much safer way is you just continue straight and make a left under the overpass.

The rooms are quiet, clean and good-sized. The sandwiches served for lunch and dinner are very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. After her mistake she said please contact our billing department which would keep me on hold and then cut out. No one from Hyatt would help until I called about 4 times wasting many hours. Horrible experience and now Hyatt will only be a last resort for me when looking for hotels. Maybe someone from Hyatt will actually fix this. Staff took about 45 minutes to check us in. - 704mistyh (10/5): Great Location Near Austin Airport - We stayed at Hyatt Place Austin Airport for a quick one night stay after getting into town after a late flight. We chose this hotel because they offered a free shuttle to/from the airport as well as breakfast. We were picked up promptly and able to check in quickly. Breakfast was as expected for a Hyatt Place and enough for my family to fuel up before being shuttled back to the airport to pick up our rental car and continue on with the rest of our vacation. Definitely recommend this Hyatt Place after a late flight/before an early flight. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

- Kathryn (10/5): A great stop over after a long flight. - The shuttle bus is very efficient. The staff at check in are helpful and friendly. I ate in the restaurant area, there is a good choice of bar snack type meals on the menu. A good free breakfast too. Nothing

- Kelton50 (6/5): Expensive!! - On Oct. 19 I booked a room for 2 people with 2 queen beds. The price was $323 for 1 night which ended up being $403 with taxes & parking. That same room today is advertised at $187. The date I stayed was after a large event in Austin with many people flying out the next morning. Why such a price difference? Is this what “price gouging” is? The price I paid is the only complaint I have. The customer service was excellent, including the shuttle driver, and the room was adequate.

- Lee (10/5): - Hotel staff proved to be the best part of the trip. They were very friendly and accommodating and when we had a small problem the general manager Hunter stepped up and took care of us. I highly recommend this hotel.

- W442OCheatherg (10/5): Hyatt Austin is the place to stay - Stayed at the Hyatt Place Austin Airport for a quick weekend in Austin. Here for a baseball tryout, have stayed at Hyatt locations before and this place did not disappoint. Clean and comfortable hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. They were very professional and friendly - made the stay even more enjoyable. Hotel is very easy to get to, super close to the airport.

- Ernest (10/5): - This Hyatt property is clean, relatively quiet considering the airport terminal is 1/2 mile away, and of course convenient to the airport. Nice modern rooms also with all of the expected furnishings.

- Charles (10/5): - The room and staff were great, however, we arrived in a rental vehicle with the intention of dropping our luggage into the room, then drop the vehicle at the airport. However upon arrival there was no way other than to operate a pay to park kiosk with a gate. Evidently after risking some unknown surcharge for just dropping off our luggage, this was worked out at the desk. It would make it much more intuitive to indicate that non overnight parking for guest NEEDs to pass through the gate. In our confusion, we drove all around the hotels on the block looking for the front entrance temporary parking for guests, which was very unpleasant. Please label this better for such guests, the existing sign is lacking.
