- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location of the room was in a nice quiet little corner
The room was everything I expected
- Verified traveler (8/5): - They charge you $25+tax on your pet then they do not offer a good area for your pet to go to bathroom
The area behind the rooms had tons of stickers!
That is my only complaint. The facility was clean and bed was comfortable
- Glenda (10/5): A good night sleep. - Our last night of our New Mexico vacation and we made it to Texas. Very private parking area out of weather. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We loved the walk-in shower. We were pleased with our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved it very clean and friendly. Would definitely stay there again
- NIKKIJ (4/5): - The room had an awful smell, no matter how long we left the door open to air the room out.
- Laura (8/5): Higiene - El lugar esta tranquilo, centrico,lo único que me hubiese gustado es más limpieza, creo que estaba la cama limpia a un 60 por ciento y las almohadas estaban muy desgastadas
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was clean and well kept up for its age and the staff were super helpful
- James (4/5): - The room didn’t have a working clock, shampoo, or coffee. The remote volume didn’t work properly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It has all you need for over night or a few days. Very reasonable and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the fact that there was a place. The staff lady at night was super accommodating.
- Robert (6/5): Strong disinfectant smell - Pro-
Comfortable bed.
Clean room except for permanent carpet stains.
Updated TV
Micro and fridge
Covered parking
Con
Strong disinfectant, even though this was a non smoking room. Could not air out
Thin walls
Window does not open
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friedly staff helpful and polite awsome will defiantly stay there again
- PEDRO (8/5): - It was good except not having a window to look at my vehicle. only out to the alley. No coffee pot.
When I went to get some coffee, it was pouring down rain. I got soaking wet going in and out the office due to no awning entering the office.
- Verified traveler (6/5): If you need a place to lay your head - Not many options in the area , maybe an Iron to manage my clothing would have been nice not many places to eat around and not an option to cook , but it was not much in the town
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean spacious.
- Kim (10/5): - Pleasant staff. Easy to find.
- JJ (8/5): - Very small town so the inn is very small. BUT so impressed by the staff and how clean everything was!!!
- Paul (2/5): Don't Bank on Breakfast or Customer Service Folks - The service at this hotel left a lot to be desired. The continental breakfast consists of cereal, orange juice and coffee between the hours of 7am-9am. When we managed to unlock our room door which took 10 mins due to an issue with the lock (god forbid there was a fire) the office was locked and no one was around 7:12am. Through the window we could see the coffee had not been made, so clearly there was no intention or interest in looking after the few customers that were staying there. There was also no coffee in the rooms to fall back on. Outside our room was cluttered with old washing machines and general detritus - again does not lend itself to what is expected. We love Haskell but will definitely try the Ameristay next time - this is not acceptable for anywhere and in particular, this charming Texas Town that was once our home
- Mark (8/5): Well, it was OK. - It is a little downtown motel, with a sofa sitting outside. Very nice people, comfortable but very overpriced.
- Kelly (10/5): Great small town motel - Very clean, newly remodeled...it was a great little motel in an area that offers few ammenities
- Steve (10/5): Best hotel in Haskell hands down! - Best hotel in Haskell hands down! (I've stayed in them all.)
Management very friendly and hard working.
Rates unbeatable.
Hotel is right next to Couirt House Downtown.
Room very clean and comfortable.
-AC will blow you out of the room.
-Bathrooms remodeled w/plenty of nice hot water.
-Nice size TV has every major cable channel, then some...
-Great WiFi and work desk/table.
-Frige / Microwave
-Covered to-door parking a big plus, especially in summer I can imagine.
Pets $15/day/pet if needed. I love pets!
Highly Recommended!
- William (10/5): - Nice little motel in a nice little city. The owner and his wife were helpful and attentive to our needs. We'll stay there again.
- Barbara (10/5): Renovated Motel - Motel
Motel has been renovated inside and room was very nice. Room was well appointed and there was a large modern bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful with local information. Breakfast could be improved especially since there weren't many local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
- Barbara (8/5): Pleasant surprise - concerned when walked in office as the smell wasn't the best but the room was very nice, clean, good bed and pleasant time. Not much as far as places to eat, so be prepared either eating before as you are a distance.
- Tom (6/5): Haskel Inn - The room was not very clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Breakfast was terrible, literally only 3 cereals, milk and orange juice and coffee! Room still had a bag of cheetos from people before not cleaned up and a dirty footprint in the tub. We were the only ones staying in the hotel, not too bad though!
- Amanda (10/5): Haskell inn - Clean room. Friendly service.
- Joel (8/5): So much nicer than I expected - Simply needed a place to stay while working on the road. The room was very clean. The AC cold. The shower hot. And my car was 3' from my door under covered parking. Aside from the moron blasting his music every time he left, it was quiet and easy to relax. Don't know if I'll ever get to Haskell again but I'd definitely stay here again if I do. Side note...unless you like cereal, don't count on the breakfast. There's a Sonic down the street.
- Texas Traveler (8/5): Best bang for the buck. - Covered parking to protect your vehicle from damaging Texas Hail. Guest were quite. Staff never disrupted our stay. Rates are very reasonable. Shampoo and body soap provided. Bath towels refreshed daily and generous in size/absorbency. TV remote control batteries were dead upon arrival, but I left a note for staff...upon our return to the room, the remote was fixed. Lighting was very good. Bed linens were clean and blankets provided.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The stay was good.
- Daddyo (4/5): OK if you must stay in Haskel - Why would you stop at Haskel? There is nothing there for a visitor. So unless you have a reason to stop, suggest to keep driving. If you must stay this motel is clean enough and safe enough to stay. But bring your own food as no restraint other than Subway was open. The motels breakfast was to open at 6am but it did not.
I'd stay again if I had to visit Haskel but there is no reason to visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): For a no frills hotel this was a clean, nice hotel - This was a nice hotel. They do not advertise it on the cover page of hotels.com but they do take pets. I didn't know this with the original booking and almost passed up a diamond in the rough. I will book at this little hotel again.
