• Melanie (10/5): Best hotel in the world! - This was the most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service was beyond amazing. They would anticipate your every need or wish. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

From the instant you walk in, you are greeted with the friendliest staff - umbrellas in the rain, cold towels after a hot day. The rooms are immaculate and feel so private. The decor is so relaxing, food is incredible, the spa is top notch, and the pools are amazing. Plus all of the inclusions during your stay (free massage every day, tuk tuk rides into town, breakfast - the list goes on an on). I felt like a bit of a celebrity during my stay. I can’t recommend staying here enough - if I come back to Cambodia I’ll definitely stay here again.

What stands out is the staff who go out of their way to make you feel special and well taken care of. Considerable thought has been given to the little things that make a big difference like how the property is designed to feel welcoming and peaceful, the art, flora and design touches for the eyes, the essential oils for the smell, and the sound of water for the ears. They also remove stress by providing complimentary tuk-tuk service to the town and back, complimentary massages and mini-bar and more. Truly well done to Christian and Chris for making Jaya House an amazing place to stay.

• William (10/5): - Pure Magic – A Stay We’ll Never Forget at Jaya House River Park From the moment we arrived in Siem Reap—an hour late, no less—Jaya House River Park blew us away with their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. Our driver greeted us with the kindest smile, a cold towel, and chilled fresh water. To top it off, he had a perfectly cut cup of fruit waiting for us—what a thoughtful touch after a long flight. The ride to the hotel was smooth and comfortable, and things only got better from there. We were welcomed personally by the owner upon arrival. Our luggage was taken care of without us lifting a finger. Instead of standing at a check-in desk, we were led to a serene dining room, seated, and served our favorite juices and freshly made sandwiches—they had anticipated we’d be hungry after our travels. This is how check-in should be done. As if that wasn’t enough, they arranged our complimentary massages for that evening—a perfect way to unwind. We were amazed to learn that daily laundry service was included, and everything was returned beautifully pressed and fresh. The resort itself is stunning. There are two beautiful pools that feel like your own private oasis. We ordered cocktails and lunch by the water, and I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep under the sun. Their tuk-tuk service made exploring easy, and they even gave us a phone to stay in touch while out. • Kelly (10/5): Best Hotel Stay EVER! - I am a hardcore traveler. Been all over the world and Jaya House River Park is the best yet. The owner has thought of everything from providing non-plastic refillable water bottles to complimentary tuk tuks and laundry service. I wish more US hotels operated like Jaya House.

Service is more attentive and personal than most luxury branded hotels. Check-in is done casually during an elegant and delicious breakfast. They will not only make sure you have water at the pool, but will replace the water once the ice melts. The included spa treatments are relaxing. The bar entertainment was beautiful and engaging. The bartenders know how to make a quality drink. The folded flowers are a perfect touch. Our trip to Siam Reap was excellent and Jaya House made it exceptional.

The hotel is a short (complimentary) tuk-tuk ride into the busy downtown, but also a short walk to treasures like the Khmer Ceramics & Fine Arts Centre. They even had the coffee bar staffed and substantial breakfasts packed as we departed at 4:40am for our sunrise tour of Angkor. We truly can't recommend it highly enough, and won't think about staying anywhere else if we are lucky enough to visit Siem Reap again.

• Lauren (10/5): Our favorite hotel stay to-date! - We had an excellent honeymoon stay at Jaya House. From pick-up at the airport, to drop off 5 days later, we were able to relax and really enjoy Siem Reap. The hotel owner helped organize a multi-day tour of the Angkor temples with a fabulous tour guide (Mr. Hann) and we still had ample time to enjoy the pools and spa facilities at the hotel and explore the town. The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the Khmer cuisine, and very reasonably priced. The staff is LOVELY! So attentive and kind. We will be back to the area and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else!

Each of the staff at Jaya house seemed so happy to work there and so eager to cater to our every need. The outstanding things were the complimentary laundry, included breakfast, complimentary daily massages, complimentary tuk tuk’s and a phone for us to beckon and call at anytime. There was no issue that was too hard. We were offered a complimentary super delayed checkout which ensured we were so comfortable before our late flight. The hotel restaurant had excellent dining options. Would stay here in a heart beat again. I wish I could name all the staff that looked after us - Finn, Chris, Sapoun, Anna, Lina, Sophia, Tay, everyone was so kind.

• Verified traveler (8/5): A beautiful place to relax - This was a beautiful hotel with lovely staff. We were instantly greeted by smiling and helpful people. They whisked us right into the restaurant to sit and discuss our stay which was nice to know what to expect. They handled everything from booking a tour guide to Angkor Wat and giving us local recommendations. A nice touch was giving us a small sheet of Cambodian phrases to know and also having hotel tuktuks that could take you where you wanted to go in the city with a little phone they give you to call one when needed. I wish I could give them a full 5 stars but while they tried to be aware of a food allergy, they still tried to give us soy sauce and even croutons in a salad. When I asked if the croutons were gluten-free the server insisted they were. He then called our room a couple of minutes later to let us know they were *not* gluten free. While they did have gluten free bread on hand, I think more work needs to be done to mark the menu with options and educate the staff better on such allergies. Other than that, I would absolutely return again happily.

They offered a complementary massage each day of our stay. They are doing their part to protect the environment, giving us reusable water bottles for our stay and planting trees in the community. They provided a free tuk tuk into the city center (a short ride) and picked us up when we wanted to come home. The space was pristine, the pool was lovely, and we enjoyed the spa and rooftop cafe - complete with a singer on the weekends!

• Julie (10/5): The best hotel in Siem Reap - My husband and I spent five nights at Jaya House recently. The hotel is everything as it states on the hotel website and beyond. The location is excellent. It is at the edge of the town so it is quiet but is close to the center of the town's actions with a very short complimentary tuk-tuk ride. Every staff at the hotel, from Christian the general manager to the maintenance people (and everyone in between) is super friendly and personable. From the moment we were picked up by the hotel staff at the Siem Reap airport to the moment we got dropped off at the airport after our five-day stay, our every need during our stay was well taken care of; the breakfast choices are great; the constant reminders to apply anti-mosquito spays make the visits to the temples lot more pleasant for a mosquito magnet like me; the daily complimentary laundry service makes traveling light possible, not to mention clean clothes always smell better; lastly but not least, the daily massage refreshes tired feet and the soul. Our stay at Jaya House elevated our Siem Reap experience!

We chose Jaya due to the abundance of positive reviews. First, I’ll establish credibility: We’re extremely discerning and difficult to please…Having stayed in some of the finest hotels on the planet and consistently seeking perfection, we'd consider ourselves ‘travel snobs’. Now to our experience......Our eyebrows were raised during the complimentary airport pickup. A driver and an English-speaking tour guide whisked us away in a new, oversized comfortable van, and offered us water, cold towels and fresh fruit for the ride. Check in was perfect. A glass of our favorite, a personal debriefing, and our luggage waiting in our room. The room itself was immaculate with an included minibar and every attention to detail you can imagine. We stayed in a plunge pool suite. Christian, Chris and the entire team ensure every need and want is taken care of. From arranging private Temple tours to dinner reservations, they have your back. You're given a pre-programmed cell phone at check-in to continuously communicate with the staff while exploring Siem Reap. The hotel tuk-tuks are complimentary, and their friendly drivers will happily pick up and drop off all day until 10:00PM. You indeed feel safe and at home. You're treated like family, just as the previous reviews indicate. This place rocks! You won't be dissapointed.

The service is next level - they have truly thought of everything from having complimentary tuk-tuks to take you into town or to the temple complex, wonderful breakfasts and food, to even cool towels and bug spray every time you arrive or leave. We could not have been more happy with our 5 day stay at Jaya House and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing complimentary daily massages and the exemplary service by all of the staff members. They even helped make us a delicious take-away breakfast at 4:30 am and had steaming hot coffee / fresh croissants for us to enjoy at the sunrise over Angkor Wat. The staff also provided fantastic recommendations for all of our dinners and on our free day, listed out a number of local shops, art galleries, and places to try around the Siem Reap city center. One of the most unique features is that they give you a small cell phone so any time you need a pickup from a temple or restaurant or somewhere around time, you just call and a complimentary tuktuk will come pick you up. • Bhupendra (10/5): - Amazing late check in by the Managing Director, Christian who organised complimentary Vegetarian Club Sandwiches and drinks. The airport transfers both ways was seamlessly organised. The complimentary laundry service, mini bar service, tuk tuk service, daily 30min massage service per guest were incredible and most welcome. The complimentary tuk tuk city tour was a joy and very informative. The private Angkor Wat and other temple tours were well organised with a very knowledgeable tour guide and a pleasant driver in a luxurious car. Well done Jaya House!

From our initial greeting at the airport to helpful managers and staff to invigorating temple cycling tour and history background with Sinat and superb trip to Tonle Sep with Rathi to the nightly massages at the spa to the lotus folding lesson with the florist and excellent meals at the restaurant, we felt pampered and appreciated! Both pools are soothing and the hotel’s ambiance and personal products are a cut above anything else we encountered in Vietnam or Laos. Excellent value and worth every single cent (all charges were paid for in USD).
• Leslie (10/5): All around amazing experience - I've stayed in a lot of hotels around the world - big and small. The Jaya House was one of the best experiences I've had. If you enjoy the intimacy of a boutique hotel, then this is your place. The customer service goes above and beyond. My room was upgraded. I was always greeted with a smile from everyone working. They provide airport pick up and drop off. There is even a mobile phone provided so that you can call for pick ups in town while you are out. The spa services are also included with your stay. I had two massages that were excellent. The breakfast buffet is also included and far exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, the service was amazing! Every single employee provided the very best service. My only wish is that I had scheduled more time in Siem Reap, and especially at the Jaya House. I will come back and I highly recommend staying here.

• Ivana (10/5): - It's a well run and very pretty property with 2 swimming pools and a lots of plants around. Their restaurant is nicely decorated (Cambodian style). Their breakfast is delicious. Not only they have an impressive menu (things range from Asian to Western breakfast items) but they bake their own pastries and bread which are to die for. I've tried some of their dinner items, cocktails, and wine which were very good too. Rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, their mattress is super comfortable. They make their own organic skin and hair products. They provide a fruit bowl which they refill daily. They do laundry (free of charge and super fast too!). Their staff is hard working and super welcoming to guests. They really go above and beyond. I can highly recommend staying at this place if you're in Siem Reap.

• Scott (10/5): Fabulous hotel - I never bother to give hotel reviews, but I had to this time. This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Perhaps I'm biased because I got to stay at a 5-star hotel at 3-star prices--but that's also part of what's so remarkable for this hotel: despite having far less revenue than they are used to, due to the lack of tourism during the pandemic, they haven't cut corners in the slightest. The service was impeccable, the room spacious and perfect, and the grounds ever-tasteful and immaculate. Don't give it a second thought--book this hotel now.

Overall, value is great!

Helpful, nice, seem genuine, always smiling, often call you by name, offer to spray you with their home-made great smelling bug spray every time you leave hotel -Delicious free buffet breakfast with many options -Free drink upon arrival (anything you want), free mini bar, free water bottle to refill around the hotel rather than using plastic, free laundry, FREE MASSAGE in their beautiful spa, free tuk tuk around town whenever you want & will come pick you up whenever you are ready to come back -Care about the environment and are pretty much plastic free which is super impressive -Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, along with the pillows/cushions at the pool -Lovely bathroom with a delightful shower & bathtub -Peaceful bar with a great happy hour deal that is a nice place to relax at sunset -Be sure to go to Peace Cafe a few minute walk away - great food & fare trade shop with well priced, cute souvenirs that people will actually want :)
