- Tony (4/5): - Very impersonal. You find a building, wait for a check in time and then punch a code. Like something out of “1984”. The room was poorly designed and dysfunctional. There is a sliding back door that goes nowhere, just a straight drop down to the ground. Definitely not disabled friendly. Very disappointed.

- Valerian (10/5): - First trip to Vashon was somewhat of a disappointment, but at least we stayed in a great hotel. Clean, roomy, comfortable. Easy walk to town, lot's of places to eat nearby. We haven't seen anyone from the staff, which to me is great.
- Madeleine (10/5): - It was a cute, cozy little modern cabin. It was very quiet. I couldn't hear any of the neighbors at any point. Some good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Easy parking. Easy check-in and check-out. The radient heating in the bathroom floor was a nice surprise! Highly recommend.

- Vicki (10/5): Lodges of Vashon - The Lodges Vashon were a spacious & well appointed for our party of three. Plus, the Lodges were a great location to walk everywhere in the quaint downtown area! We would highly recommend the Lodges of Vashon to others!

- Elizabeth (10/5): Welcoming and stylish lodging - Very unique style of lodging in close proximity to central shopping but seemed like you were in the country. The bed and other furnishings were very comfortable. Every need seemed to be met including ice from the public house.
- Robyn (4/5): - This could be a wonderful property and probably was when it first opened. I was in lodge 13 and alerted Expedia our unit was semi clean. There was grime built up on doors, the baseboards were filthy and there was a tattered rug under the coffee table. There were fingerprints on the furniture and the whole unit needed a deep cleaning. Walls were way past a new paint job along with baseboards. There is no bathroom sink so all hand washing has to be in the kitchenette area. I took pictures of all of this and even cleaned a vinyl dirty chair myself prior to sitting. The bed was clean along with the kitchenette area.

The modern design blended beautifully with the natural surroundings, and every detail felt thoughtful. Waking up to birdsong, lounging on the private patio, and walking to town made our stay feel both luxurious and grounded. We’ll be back.

But…we had no batteries in the TV remote, when I called & texted the response indicated that nobody was available after 5pm. I would have run to the market to buy batteries but most of the stores close early on the island. Annoying.

- Michael (8/5): - Very modern property. It was nice to have our own unit. We often take trips with our grandchildren and having a sepreate area was a requirement. Being centrally located on the island was great but a 4pm check in was rather late. I would trade an early check in for a late departure. The unit would have gotten 5 stars if it had been carpeted. I understand the cleaning aspect but a hard linoleum floor made it cold and a bit echo_ee. Small stuff but its the details that matter. The rest of the property was very nice.

Bed was a little firm and heater had a slight noise in the night. Grounds were so lovely with emerald green forest vibe. Love the horticulture paths and location in central small town. Steps from world class restaurants and coffee shops.

- Sarah (8/5): Perfect location in town, nice outdoor setting, - Spacious Accommodations in modern setting. Larger kitchen area than expected. Missed the mark on the outdoor space. Instead of putting a little patio on the sunny back room overlooking a beautiful natural setting, they built more of a prison cell with 10 foot walls off the bathroom that was of no use to us. The communal outdoor spaces are quite nice, fire pit, table, nice lighting ambience, games. The unit itself is a little worn in places but clean. We didn’t like that there was no one onsite at the lodges to welcome you to check in or to ask questions. Wonderful ccess to downtown Vashon. Walkable to all restaurants and shops.

- Jane (10/5): - The property is pretty awesome and I appreciate that it was quiet and not super busy. It was a weekday, but mid-summer. We loved the space indoors and outdoors. Lots of options to relax. My concerns were there not being an active office on the property. To reach someone incase of something was challenging. They have office hours, and was curious what you'd do if someone was being loud at night or needed access to something. Otherwise, great place, definitely coming back!

- Andrea (8/5): - Nice amenities, very clean and comfortable bed. Amazing local soap and coffee! My only complaints, which can't really be changed, are that the layout of the unit we stayed in was odd. We had a unit with a shower only and there was a private "porch" off of the shower room, presumably for naked sunbathing? Not sure, but there was only one sad wooden chair out there that hadn't seen much sun and had moss all over it. There was also only one lounge chair in the reading room/breakfast nook which was not great for a party of two to be able to sit together. The breakfast chairs were hard plastic, so not great for relaxing. The view was pretty towards the green/wooded area, so it would have been nice for two of us to be able to lounge and enjoy the view with a book. The toilet room felt like a sensory deprivation closet - no windows, all white. The sink for kitchen and bath is shared, which would be better if one side of the counter could be for bathroom things and the other side for kitchen things. I don't want to brush my hair by where dishes are stored. The property is nicely landscaped, and the units felt private. The shared outdoors areas were nice, with lawn games and fireplace. Check in and out was very smooth, great communication via email. Great location, walkable to town. Lovely public library across the street.
- CHRISTI (6/5): - There is no staff on premise. The code for entry door was very confusing and would not work. We had to call, leave a message and wait for an answer ( at the end of a very long day traveling and sightseeing). Very frustrating. Other guest told us they had the same issue. *NOTE* FYI-there is no sink in the bathroom. The aluminum kitchen is the only sink in the unit! Would have been very good to know before booking this accommodation.

Make sure you get an email with room number & door code before you arrive! It was like staying in a European room - comfy beds, beautiful grounds & walking distance to town.

However, shower head needs to be set away from the entrance of shower as the water got the floor mat soaked. And a mirror would be nice in the bathroom instead of just over the sink for blow drying hair. And better coffee choice please. Otherwise we loved this place and will be back!

- Matthew (10/5): - Had a great time with our dog. Restaurants are a quick walk just down the street. Also the Syrian food stand in the parking lot was amazing. The Lodges have a cool modern prefab style and the bed was very comfortable. If we ever come back to Vashon we will stay here.
- Melissa (10/5): - The Lodges exceeded my expectations! They were a wonderful place to stay for a short weekend on Vashon Island. Easy to find and walkable to the downtown area, giving you access to all the dining and shopping. A wine tasting shop in the village was an added bonus! The lodge itself was immaculate, between the comfy bed and the soaking tub, no detail was spared. My husband and I will definitely return.

- Shaura (10/5): - I loved this property! Very quiet. Fun. Quirky. The only downside for me… maybe I’m just a bit bougie…but I didn’t like that the kitchen sink is the bathroom sink. But I just kept the sink empty, so no heebie-jeebies from washing our hands or brushing our teeth over dishes. Other than that…awesome. I really wanted to try the coffee press, but didn’t have time. Will definitely start here again!!!

- Lauren (8/5): - I think the one sink thing is strange. They have a sign that says thank you for the inconvenience, so they're aware that it's odd. Something offputting about brushing your teeth at the kitchen sink. But otherwise a very nice stay and I'd definitely stay again. I put a neutral rating for staff because I had no interaction with staff.
- Norman (2/5): - Total automated property. No on site personnel. Codes given and all communications by email. Codes sent for room and no access before 4:00 PM. Shut down at 11:00 AM to get out. Instruction say No exceptions and no humans to speak to. New modular units. Unit very clean; robots? No sink in bathroom. Forced to use kitchen sink. Maybe worst of all, no heat. Very cold nights on Puget Sound and heat turned off for “season” Note in room said if chilly bundle up and use little fireplace in little living room. It was 49 degrees. And to make it all worse, no hospitality at all in a hospitality industry. I hope to never see another property like this.

- Kathryn (10/5): - I might choose another Lodge next time. I was a single woman and chose a large toward the back of the property on a night when not too many people were around. Just a preference. A housekeeper named Raymond help me with my luggage. He went the extra mile. I really appreciated that. Maybe he could be your housekeeper of the week? All of us travelers and the owners of our lodgings depend on the housekeepers!

- Garrett (10/5): Exceeded Expectations! - The Lodges on Vashon exceeded our expectations! My girlfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary and stayed for 2 nights, the lodges we're cozy and warm with an incredible feeling! Very quiet and right near the small town of Vashon.
- Jessica (8/5): - Beautiful property and lodging! Quiet and cozy. Looks newly built. Very walkable to downtown Vashon. Dog friendly is a plus. It will be better if they provide a small stove since the kitchen is quite spacious. The pillows and bed are too soft for our liking though. Also, we found several ants and insects especially near the kitchen area.

- Rana (10/5): - Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lodges on Vashon. The Lodge is roomy, with plenty of space for a family to lounge around and take it easy. The shared patio was also a great place to sit and read in the swings and relax. The kids enjoyed the board games provided for entertainment. They also enjoyed the lawns and meadows around the property. Vashon Island is quaint and the perfect escape from the city scape, but our stay at the Lodges made it even better! Alhough there isn't a front desk/conceirge on the property, the staff was easily accessible via call or text and immediately responded to our needs. We want to come back and spend more time here!

- Sandra (10/5): - Beautiful lodges and so close to town! They even had towels, bowls, and a dog bed for our pups, it was so thoughtful and perfect for our family. My husband, dogs, and I will definitely go back.
- Michael (6/5): - The bed was quite comfortable and the shower with heated floors was nice. Toilet and shower in separate rooms was nice but, no sink or mirror in the toilet. Shaving, makeup etc. needs . to be done in the kitchen sink. No place to put suitcases. Hard plastic chairs which are basically unusable. Room needs a TV in the living room. You can only watch TV in bed. Basically an expensive (for the location) room that is poorly planned. Oh and ridiculous 4:00 check-in time. We love Vashon and were hoping for a non B&B option. Not it poorly planned and pricey.

There is a common area with full kitchen with BBQ, although we did not use it. The patio area had a fire pit with some seating. Very nice set up. Highly recommended

- Tyler (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodges! Ours was a meadow view lodge and it felt very private, clean, and cozy. Our room was outfitted with everything we needed and we were very comfortable during our stay, even while needing to spend the majority of our time working from the room. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there is an incredible communal outdoor space with a fire pit, swinging chairs, and two domes(!) with cool little seating areas inside. My husband and I both remarked on how much fun it would be to come to the lodges with a big group and have each household stay in one of the lodges and then make use of all the awesome outdoor spaces. As a final thought, we were hugely impressed with the customer service of the general manager, who went above and beyond to help us. We’ll definitely stay here again!
