• Petar (10/5): Missed the last ferry for the island so I ended up booking here. - Location is good. It’s at the beach and short drive from the pier. The owner speaks great English and very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised when after the booking the hotel reached to me and offered me taxi service from the airport.
• Maxi (6/5): - Wir hatten nur eine Nacht als Überbrückung für die Überfahrt nach Koh Chang. Es war an sich eine schöne Anlage, aber die Bungalows sehr steril und ungemütlich. Für den Preis aber völlig ausreichend! Insgesamt ungemütlich. Keine Seife zum Händewaschen (dafür aber Duschbad in der Dusche). Auf der Anlage viele Hunde, die teilweise einen angebellt oder angeknurrt haben. Ringsherum gibt es nichts. Ein Glück hat das Restaurant für uns dann noch aufgemacht!

• Magdalena (6/5): Gut gelegen für eine Weiterreise nach Koh Chang mit der Fähre - Wir haben eine Nacht in der Unterkunft verbracht, da wir am nächsten Tag in der Früh am nahe gelegenen Hafen nach Koh Chang weiter gereist sind. Die Unterkunft war für unsere Zwecke passabel. Es war ein einfach gehaltenes, sauberes Zimmer. Man hat uns dort auch ein Taxi für die kurze Fahrt zum Hafen organisiert (Tickets kann man einfach vor der Fahrt beim Pier kaufen). Frühstück sehr minimalistisch. Ebenfalls war ein Restaurant an der dortigen Straße, wo wir gut gegessen haben. Es hat für uns gereicht, aber mehr als eine Nacht würden wir nicht dort bleiben :)

• Isidora (10/5): Υπέροχο για ένα βράδυ! - Μείναμε ένα βράδυ για να πάρουμε το επόμενο πρωί το αεροπλάνο! Είναι κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο σου παρέχουν μεταφορά με 400 μπατ ! Το προσωπικό είναι τέλειο! Το δωμάτιο υπέροχο ! Ζητήσαμε μηχανάκι και μας έστειλαν αμέσως την κοπέλα που νοικιάζει! Στο δωμάτιο έχει ψυγείο νερό καφέ βραστήρα και πιστολάκι μαλλιών ! Θα ξανά έρθουμε κάποια στιγμή! Ολα ήταν τέλεια εκτός από το πρωινό ! Πολλά αλλαντικά μισό τοστ χωρίς τυρί κ ένα αυγό !

• Samy (8/5): Sehr entspannt für 1-2 Nächte - Es war sehr ruhig und suuuper entspannt um runterzukommen von den ganzen Touristen Hotspots und das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich ud direkt am Meer Es liegt irgendwie doch im Nirgendwo und es gibt kein Grab.

Nous avons eu la chance d'etre dans un bungalow sur piloti directement sur l'eau avec une vue incroyable. • Bohumil (8/5): Místo pro klidnou relaxaci u vody - Příjemné odpočinkové místo. Dalo se objednat i jídlo do chatičky, koupit nápoje.... Ideální mít vlastní dopravu. Provoz je zde skoro nulový, dobře se zde jezdí na skůtru, kole i autem. V okolí jsou další krásné pláže, restaurace a jídelny... Byli jsme na začátku sezóny, pár lidí v tomto resortu i vedlejším, takže nikde nefungovala restaurace.

• Neuhaus (8/5): - Die Häuschen liegen direkt am Meer und vom Bett aus kann mann das Wasser sehen. Sehr tolle Unterkunft, das Personal war sehr nett. Zu fuss kommt man auch gut zum einen Restaurant. Bett, Handtücher usw. sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr spährlich eingerichtet und man hatte kaum Ablagefläche z.b. beim Lavabo. War aber nicht weiter schlimm, da der Rest so toll war.

• Oliver (7/5): Ruhige gepflegte Unterkunft für eine Nacht in der Nähe vom Pier - Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer und ist auch nur 2km vom Pier entfernt. Ein Taxi wurde für uns organisiert. Essen kann man sich in die Unterkunft bestellen, da es in der direkten Umgebung wirklich absolut nichts gibt. Es ist dafür aber sehr ruhig. Getränke kann man zu günstigen Preisen direkt dort kaufen. Das Frühstück ist sehr schlecht. Es wird morgens einfach auf die Terrasse gestellt, die Uhrzeit die uns genannt wurde passte leider auch nicht. Es besteht aus einem kleinen Toast, einem kalten, halbgaren Spiegelei und einigen Scheiben Wurst, welche dann je nach dem wann man aufsteht erst draußen rumstehen.

• Günter (1/5): Kathastrophe - Die Nähe zur Fähre! Koffer muss mann selber schleppen der Chef sieht einem zu. Frühstück wird um 7:30Uhr auf die Terrasse gestellt und fertig. Keinen Kaffee! Alles Kaputt heruntergekommen und Reparatur bedürftig.
• Sharon1975 (6/5): Prima voor een nachtje overbrugging voor de ferry naar koh chang maar verder ook niet. - Het uitzicht is prachtig, aan de overkant van de weg een heerlijk klein restaurantje De bedden waren keihard,, we hadden betaald voor een extra bed maar dat was niet meer dan een soort van ligbed kussentje op de grond, als mn dochter erop ging leggen was het gewoon alsof ze direct op de grond lag. Extra "matrasje" gevraagd, uiteindelijk met 3 "matrasjes" was het redelijk te doen. Haren van vorige mensen zaten nog in het gootsteen putje. Ontbijt was niet te kiezen, je kreeg gewoon 1 sneetje brood, 2 plakjes komkommer, sla, tomaat, 2 knakworstjes en een plakje worst. Geen drinken erbij.

Good value overall Breakfast was processed meat chicken sausages, fried egg and ham toast. Had breakfasts elsewhere which are based on fruit and rice and I preferred them. Having breakfast outside the room was good.

The property was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I think it was a family run resort which gave it a personal feel and the owner arranged to collect us from the bus station and take us to the resort which was very helpful and appreciated. We would certainly go back. Thank you

• Ann (8/5): Great place to stay on the way to Kho Chang ferry. - A great spot to position yourself for a night or two before/after the ferry to/ from Kho Chang. This was a long shot bet that worked out well for us. We had a non-refundable, last-minute reservation on KC but had little idea how easy it would be to get the ferry there. The ferry doesn't offer reservations. (We had a car.) So we booked at Lomtalay for a night because it's only 2 km from the ferry docks. Big win. It was a pleasant spot with its own little beach, a decent breakfast delivered at 7:30 and sweet staff. Our room was newly reno'd and had comfy beds, a kettle and a fridge. We drove to the docks after check in to see what was what - long lineup at 16:00. So, we decided to get there early the next morning and voila! right after our breakfast got on an 8 a.m. ferry with zero wait time. Oh, yes, nice little restaurant for dinner about 400 steps across the road. Only one staffer seemed to speak much English and we had to hunt around a bit to find him. He was helpful tho' when we did. Also if you are phobic about or just afraid of dogs, there are dogs at the adjacent property who are territorial and persistent. Didn't bother us at all but if dogs are an issue, you'll want know. It isn't the Lomtalay's fault and they do make an effort to warn you about them.
