- Chris (10/5): Fantastic property, well equipped at a great specification and good eco credentials. Great hosts. - Fantastic property. Very clean and well presented. Would definitely recommend. - garden was large with excellent views of the hills. Kept immaculate with short grass. Pool cleaned daily (v.early before we woke up). - plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade - kitchen and dining area inside well equipped - bedrooms were excellent as were both bathrooms - very private - good size bbq provided - host was very accommodating, gave an excellent tour and some recommendations of places to visit - supermarket a 5 minute drive away. Several small restaurants a 5-10 minute walk. - we had a one year old and a travel cot (a good one!) and high chair was provided As an aside - the property has solar panels and a large battery system so is very sustainably focussed. This is a big positive. - chilly pool. This was very much appreciated given how hot it was for the adults - but for a small child (one year old) we took a paddling pool and used that for them.
- Ogilvie (10/5): Beautiful and great value for money! - We had a lovely stay at Villa Lucca, such great value for money. My friends and I were staying to attend a wedding in the hills closeby. The villa was well stocked with what you needed, 2 gorgeous doubles rooms and a room with 4 singles was great for us as 4 of the group were couples. We were met by the owner on day one and given a thorough guide to the place. The Garden and pool were really big and plenty seats to sit and sunbathe etc. Would highly recommend. Transport around Lucca isnt the best, its hard to get taxis. This isnt specific to this Villa though, just the area. The host also printed out bus timetables with directions (only 600metres to a bus stop which is great) and provided taxi numbers. However if you want to get about I would recomend driving in the Lucca area
