William (8/5): It is certainly worth the price. If you have a scooter or bicycle, you'll like this property. - The hotel is new and clean. The breakfast was very good. The family made us comfortable. They are very nice people. Many of the reviews we read of the place on booking websites were obviously faked, like so many Sri Lankan reviews are. They stated that the view of the ocean was fantastic. Some even said that you could see the ocean in 5 seconds' walk or from one of the rooms. This is simply not true. You cannot see the coast at all from anywhere in the area. You need a bicycle or motorbike if you want to see the ocean or go to nearby restaurants. It's a nice residential area but there is no sea view anywhere near the property.

Eleise (10/5): Memories to last a lifetime of smiles - This was my and husbands second trip. We honeymooned here in 2017 and knew we had to return with friends this time. No regrets…We started feeling at home from the moment we arrived and the vibe has got even better with the help from the lovely Silva who is such a funny and kind guy. We arrived by tuk tuk and enjoyed 2 nights of laughs and fun and he treated us all like family. Such happy memories and we hope to come back again soon. Special thanks also to Sudoon (hope that’s correct) who is a nice guy taking care of us between when Silva was out. Both a credit to Sri Lankan hospitality 😍Please don’t change too much with the property apart from upkeep and necessary repairs to preserve the charm because that’s why we love it. The rebranding and funky homey touches are good but don’t lose that “Straddie” beach shack vibe we love about the place. Yes I’m a Brissie girl. Grew up holidaying and surfing on Moreton Is in the 80s and that nostalgic feeling was rekindled here. 👍🌴🐬
Martin (6/5): Very good location with a issue… - Terrible loud party next door in the second night. Moved to an other hotel. Found agreement with Noel. Seems that party location next door is just establishing, is just few nights in the month and major conflict might arise.
Dhanushka (8/5): Very good - We stayed here with my beautiful wife in our honeymoon tour , the family was awesome they treated us really well , what I loved the most was the breathtaking view from the villa, you will not find such view from high ends hotels this is just breathtaking
Florian (10/5): Exceptional - The host Noel and his family are amazing. His uncle showed me a beautiful snorkeling spot. There were many different colorful fishes and turtles. And his friend Anju is an awsome surfing teacher. If you are surfing for the first time, then follow his instructions and you will ride a wave after ten minutes. The massage therapist Lanka is also amazing, with strong hands like a bear.

Verified traveler (10/5): Peaceful stay at family guest house with a view - Lovely stay at Dinsara Pearl Villa with Noah and his family. The Villa is a little guest house tucked right on the headland at cape Weligama. It’s a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning, you can even check the surf at fisherman‘s reef from the garden. The accommodation is modest, simple, but comfortable. But the hospitality is what really stood out. Noel and his family will do anything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I felt so welcomed into the family as a solo traveler. Manells cooking is also off the charts! Great local curries and tea served anytime of day or night. I tried going out for meals but kept coming back to the villa because the food was so good. I would go back to Dinsara Pearl in a second.
Benjamin (8/5): Our February 2018 Stay - Noel and his family are super lovely. Their place is set on the cliff top and the communal chill out area is fabulous, overlooking Weligama Bay. The access down onto a secluded private beach is cute and the snorkelling there is super. We had one of the side rooms which was an excellent size, huge comfy king size bed with mozzie net and clean bathroom with hot water. Only negative would be the lack of natural light, but this wasn't a problem as we only slept in the room anyways. Noel helped us with motor scooter rental and our airport transfer, he's a top bloke, super accomodating and extremely helpful. Thank you Noel for all your help mate! Being a family run business means sometimes the kitchen wasn't as organised as it could have been (too many chiefs in the kitchen), had to wait well over an hour for food one evening. But the quality of the food was excellent and the included breakfast each morning was very good! They even got up earlier than normal to make our breakfast before our early morning surf adventures :) If you are looking for a party spot then this is probably not it. It's a 15-20 minute scooter / tuk tuk ride away from Mirissa where most of the lively action beaches and bars are located. But if it's a quiet secluded place you desire then this is definitely the place to stay. For us it was perfect as its only a 10 min ride away from Midigama and a 20 min ride away from Kabalana, where some of the best surf is! We'd defo recommend Dinsara Pearl!
