- Cynthia (8/5): Affordable clean comfort! Thanks Capri I will be staying here again! - This was affordable, comfortable, quiet and the A/C worked great! The carpet was new it was super clean and the staff was very friendly! Compared to hotels in the area for more than double the price it is great! I was only a guest for one night but I plan on staying here again!
I appreciated previous reviews letting you know to check in at Joe’s corner store next to the Motel. Check-in was easy and quick! I also loved having a nice store so close for snacks & drinks! I honestly do not have any complaints!
- Michael (10/5): Out of town working and it was a good place at a good price!! - Super quiet!!! Slept great! Had to go to work real early so didn’t get to enjoy my stay!
- Button42 (2/5): Bugs and No Deadbolt - BUGS.. there were two types of bugs on the sheet. I was there exactly 10 min and left and they refuse to give a refund at all. Gross.. and NO DEADBOLT ON THE DOOR. Just the little chain.
- Jennifer (10/5): -

- Reynaldo (10/5): - its got very good breakfast food

- Stubbs (8/5): -
- Madison (10/5): - AC was amazing. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and clean. The floors and bathroom were a bit dirty and stinky but nothing too bad! I would definitely stay here again.
- Jenny (10/5): - The owners were kind and responsive when we needed things.
- STEVEN (10/5): - Nice motel. Run by what looks like a nice family. Clean, Coffee in the room, they directed me to the market next door, Free coffee if you stay at the motel.
It is in a neighborhood rather than on a busy hwy. So it is nice and quiet. I will stay here again.
- Taylor (2/5): - Floors are sticky, furniture is gross.
- Rion Lee (8/5): - I had a solid experience at this hotel. The check in was easy, the environment was quiet and I had no concerns about my safety.
- Bruce T (10/5): - Staff very friendly, room clean and ready. Convenience store next to, or part of property.
- Temika206 (10/5): - Loved it
- Heidi (10/5): - Great affordable stay. Very friendly staff, owner, operator. Always asking if we needed anything. I would stay again!
- Barbara (4/5): Won’t book it again, sad to see it so dilapidated and run down. Was better in the past! - Convenient location Crappy worn out furniture, light fixtures and some outlets not working. Dirty coffee maker,
They told me they’re giving me their best room. Well then i really can’t imagine what the others look like!
I’ve stayed here many times in the past and always found it good value for the money, clean and simple. Now it’s run down and sad.
- Peter J (8/5): - Good basic lodging at reasonable
- Pamela (6/5): - Satisfactory
- Karen (8/5): - Close to the dragstrip
- Leyla (5/5): Ok - there was a mini fridge in the microwave I didn’t like that I had to go to a store to get my keys to the room. In the two days that I was there not even one so they come and clean the room. We were not there the whole day, but at least it could’ve given us clean towels, and there was a stain on the bed.
- Clare (10/5): -
- Traveler08888544175 (2/5): Not where you want to rent - This place was very unprofessional it was hot with air conditioning being monitored by the office and let me tell you when I say it was hot it was hot in all the rooms the b**** in the office decided she was going to kick me out because my dog was barking for like not even 10 minutes so she kicked me out and displaced me and my dog with nowhere to go to be homeless and I had money to pay her she accepted my dog in here without her deposit and then turned around and kicked me out I will never rent from her again and I highly suggest that you don't either it's a very very controlled environment and her husband and her both smoke weed in the office and you can smell it all over the property I give it no stars
- Michael (10/5): - Great place
- Roberta (10/5): - Staff was very very very nice. Accommodating and quiet and clean establishment. Would absolutely stay there again.
- Aronna (2/5): - Nothing
- Alondra (10/5): - Flexible and Understanding and quick response to any inconveniences that arise during your stay
- Janet (8/5): - Very good for price
- Marina (3/5): Displeased... - We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and never once got housekeeping. We ran out of toilet paper and washrags, so we called the office, and they brought more toilet paper, but that was all.
After our showers, the room would get super muggy even with the AC and bathroom fan running. The shower head had little water pressure.
We felt the springs when laying in both mattresses.
There were bug baits behind the mini fridge and nightstand.
The pool was closed, and the temperature was in the 90s the whole trip.
We lost power on the last day, so we checked out early. We spoke to the manager about getting a refund or discount after being so displeased but he said he could only give us a discount if we wanted to extend our stay. We did not.
- Gillett (7/5): - Bed ess comfortable I didn't like that the door didn't have a lock...it had a chain lock
- Mark (6/5): - Basic room good value for the money.
- Brittney (2/5): - Room has a bad smell
- Markayla (7/5): -
- Nelson (8/5): - TV was lacking channel guide. Information on access to current programs was available, but required a lot of searching to find it.
- Angela (2/5): - The first room that they put me into had one bed instead of two, like I reserved. They gave me another room with two beds. When I went in there, it was absolutely filthy, it had dead bugs behind the bathroom door. The floor hadnt been mopped. There was something splattered insde the lampshade and on walls.
The dresser had stuff spilled inside of every drawer, and there were flakes of marijuana inside of the top drawer. I do not smoke as I am in recovery. So this was not acceptable.
When I went and complained about the room and asked for a refund im assuming the owner begged me to stay. I really didn't
- Cheryll (4/5): Not the worst stay but needs improvement. - Staff was accommodating for our late arrival. Room was mostly clean however the coffee pot was not clean and no filters for it as well as the only cups available were cold Pepsi waxy cups you shouldn't use for hot drinks. I had to go ask for clean towels the 2nd day and where there's a sign saying ice machine there wasn't one there you need to get it from the corner store that's also ran by the same people. When we went to get ice we were accommodated but told that you're supposed to get it before 10:00 but that's not posted anywhere.
- Chuck (6/5): - no working pool
- Debra (8/5): - Have stayed there before
- Wetter (1/5): It was FILTHY - Nothing Every thing. Dirty sheets no one to tell. Mold in the toilet. Someone banging on my door at 2:30am!
- Paul (2/5): Should have been $20 night w state of accommodations so measly - Was next to highway and downtown Was run down and have to go tonowner’s gas station to check in and get ice.
- Bill (6/5): - Reasonable price.
- Karen (8/5): - Close to the racetrack
- Caleb (6/5): - Looks very like a “drug motel” but the rooms are very clean but very small bathrooms
- Katie (4/5): No pool - NO POOL. Decent room. Clean. But it is very low standard for $140 a night (after fees). we rented this room for the pool they emphasize in every ad on every travel website but the pool was closed. The cashier gaslit me and said the closure was on their website and it was not; I checked everywhere. Take the photo of the pool as your main photo down!!!
- Demonbane4344 (1/5): Bad -
- Amy (1/5): I don’t recommend this place to anyone. - Nothing Room was dirty, furniture was old and worn, towels had holes.
- Kathryn (8/5): - Quiet, has been modernized inside. Very friendly staff
- Tracie (4/5): - I asked for more towels and blankets never received a response or any of the items. The water was cold showers the entire time. The pool was closed. No amenities no coffee half the plug ins did not work for charging
- Karen (10/5): - Checked in a timely manner. The room was a perfect temperature.
- Thomas (8/5): - This motel helped me break up a longer trip and was adequate for my purposes.
- Karen (6/5): - Trouble checking in, floor needed to be vacuumed, dogs barking.
- Bernie (6/5): - Nothing
- Bernie (2/5): - Had to go to the convenience store to check in. No extra lock on door. Gaps around a/c and under door.
- Casey (2/5): - Nothing
- mary (2/5): - Pulled into the parking lot, turned around and left. It was horrible, looked like a “by-the-hour” place!
- Deidre (8/5): - Welcomed my dog with just a small extra fee. Happy to pay it. Nice yard area to walk him.
- Joy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stacy (2/5): - We did not stay, the rooms were very unclean, the odor hit you right away.
Seemed sketchy and we thought we saw the check in gal looking at monitors of the rooms.
- Connie (6/5): - Very old and worn furniture old brown shag carpet quiet location room could use a remodel.
- Debra (8/5): - Would have been nice to have coffee available for the maker in the room. Quieter at nighttime than other places.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (2/5): Avoid - The room was clean. But the room was creepy, check i was at a Mini Mart. We left and got a room at a better hotel.
- tonette (8/5): - Over priced for accommodations
- Timothy (10/5): - Inexpensive but clean
- Jessica (2/5): - We couldn’t even stay- had two rooms with two twin beds- they were full of hair, dead skin, stains! The fridge was full of dirt and hair- we left right away- creepy people all over the place! I showed the owner the pictures we took and got our money back. That’s what we get for cheeping out I guess
- Tom (1/5): Not able to check in. - They closed the office prior to our arrival so we weren't able to stay there. Then got charged for a no show.
- Karen (8/5): - Close to the racetrack
- Joy (2/5): - This was a terrible hotel!
- Taylor (2/5): - The sheets were dirty, the mattress only had a fitted sheet on it and the security lock was broken. We didn’t even stay the night it was so bad. The owner gave us our money back but it took some convincing to get it back.
- kurt (4/5): - This place was filthy! Also no place to put your clothes, there were 2 hangars and no drawers. Everything was worn out, and the shower head was even with my chin and I'm a short person. We had 1 towel at check in, and all of the fake leather was peeling off, including the headboard. A/C was barely working and old, the heater wasn't needed but was FILTHY and covered in dust. The coffee pot had a layer of dirt on it, and the carafe was filled with old grounds and stains, and the water reservoir was full of dirt. Totally disgusting!! For an 80 degree day at check in, I was surprised that the pool was still winterized and covered up (assuming they ever open it). You have to check in at the minimart next door, and any issues I had to wait in line behind the people buying stuff at the store. For the price we paid they really should be making money hand over fist and could afford to actually do something in the rooms to update them. Everything about this place was sketchy, I'll never be back.
- vicky (2/5): - The mattress was torn . The picture on Expedia is not at all what it looks like in person . The bedspread was stained the pillows were flat . The bathroom and sink still had hair on it. I took pictures I wish I could send them to you. I was scared to sleep there. I took pictures and I will email them to Expedia. Falls advertising! I would like a refund as soon as I email you the pictures of the place and put a warning on your sight that it’s ghetto there and does not look nothing like in the picture you post .
- Sherry (5/5): Needs better bed and blankets. I froze. - No breakfast none was supplied. Better bed.
- Tyler (6/5): - Just felt like a “pay by the hour” motel. Overall feel, location, and cleanliness of the grounds. The office wasn’t in the hotel office but in the gas station next door. Was weird checking in with customers behind me buying cigarettes. When I got to the room is smelled very musty/moldy, The shower had a used washcloth hanging over the faucet. The sink/vanity didn’t really look like it was cleaned. The hand soap was not in a package. It just had an overall appearance like they only changed the bedding to clean. Stains and mold on shower ceiling/walls.
- Pamela (8/5): - No microwave in room, more towels I have long hair the little towels are too small to cover it and dry properly.. the rest of my stay was great.. I stay here a lot..
- Verified traveler (2/5): zero stars-mold and dirt everywhere. - The check-in process was strange. I had to go next door to a market to check-in. My Hotel.com reservation wasn't even in their system. The furniture was torn and stained/ dirty, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the fridge and microwave had crusty food/dirt on it, there was a drawer with a stuffed animal and body part drawings in it, the bed hurt my back, the tub and sink had numerous stains, and there was a coffee pot but no coffee.
- Asher (10/5): - I loved staying at the Capri Motel. The prices were cheap, the rooms were good for sleeping in, and the management was very helpful. I will be bringing my college frisbee team back here again.
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): - We were able to check in before the time we were supposed to
- B2323CIjosephl (8/5): I’d gladly stay here again. - The room was arranged by my employer. After reading the negative reviews, I was initially reluctant to check in. My experience was very good though. Sure you have to check in at the corner store. What’s the big deal? The store is on the property. It’s a convenience store, with everything you’d normally find and more at a typical convenience store. The clerk was open, friendly and courteous. The warm deli items were sparse when I inquired. The clerk told me that he’d make any item off the menu that I wanted. The motel is not in the fanciest part of town but I felt safe. The room was very dated and a little worn in places, but it was clean and tidy with a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom and shower were also clean, providing a small bottle of shampoo, soap and some lotion. From my personal experience, I’d gladly stay here again.
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (3/5): Confused - I like the fact that they didn't bother us. I didn't like the fact that when we got there and got our key and we opened the door it smelled bad in the room.
- keli (6/5): - Friendly staff
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The staff was friendly but the room was filthy and look like it had been torn up by a dog.
- David (4/5): Latest check in episode... - Their check in process remains irritating, although is better than past management, now 10:00pm vs 6:00. I checked in at 8:30, but I hadn't had time to visit the room before going to dinner; and then when I got to the room at 1030 it was occupied....the next next at 1030 my key didnt work...irritating but we got it fixed each night...
- Rory (8/5): - Older property, but clean and came in late in the evening, left the next morning. Efficient.
- Donna (1/5): Terrible/hope it gets better with renovation.very run down - Nothing /it was a dump The first room they gave me only had one functional light bulb over the sink. The chain security lock was short and nonfunctional. The heater did not work.
The second room was not clean. The sink had dried soap crumbs
I should have taken pictures but I didn’t want to be reminded if how crappy this place was. I am sure my friends would be shocked that i stayed there. It was around 8:30 pm when i checked in and I didn’t want to try to find a room that night.
I guess you get what you pay for.
I Did not use the shower because I was afraid it was not clean. I really hope I don’t get a break out from bedbugs.
The office check in was closed so i had to walk around to the convenience store where the motel owner runs their business. I did not feel safe in this hotel. They claimed they were under renovation.
There was no foot board and i struck my lower leg several times on the protruding metal. Painful but no abrasion.
I did not stay the second night because the hotel was a dump. I shortened my plan stay because the motel was horrible. Too bad that I paid for 2 nights in a dump
The morning i was awakened by birds trying to get in through the opening where the AC unit was stuck through an opening above the sink. The space surrounding the AC was stuffed with towels and styrofoam but you could still see light coming in. The bird sounds was a real alarm clock. Haha
- Latonya (8/5): - Room was quiet. Highway is super close but couldn't be heard. Lets face it, it's not The Ritz but it's decent. Clean, basic ammenities (mini coffee station, microwave, fridge, etc) & fluffy towels. Hint of the smell of cleaner the property uses upon 1st entry into room. Not bad but some are sensitive to smells. But it quickly dissipated from me going in & out to the car to unload my bags.
- Reynaldo (10/5): - idk
- Theanne (4/5): - There was something spilled in the bath tub, dirty and gross. A dirty wash rag hanging from the shower rod. Sheets and pillow looked like they hadn't been changed. COLD, hot water didn’t last long.
- Svetlana (1/5): Bad -
- Bryan (10/5): We needed a place to sleep for the night and this was a good place to stay. - Location was good Everything was old and outdated but it was clean
- Dahla (2/5): - The room was obviously not cleaned thoroughly. A family owned MOTEL that does not take their cleaning seriously.
