• Amélie (10/5): Parfait , merci pour tout - Le Riad est parfaitement situé , la décoration est typique marocaine et très bien entretenue. Dounia est super gentille , vous pouvez leur demander n’importe quoi, ils sont très serviable mais plus particulièrement Rachid avec qui nous avons super bien échangé. Je recommande sans hésitation, cet établissement La troisième personne qui s’occupe des remplacements et beaucoup plus froide que les deux autres personnes.

• marianna (8/5): - Ho soggiornato qui tre notti, sono arrivata al mattino presto pertanto ho chiesto di poter fare colazione chiedendo di non pagarla in quanto quella dell' ultimo giorno non sarei riuscita a consumarla dato che sarei andata via molto presto. Purtroppo la struttura mi ha fatto pagare cmq metà del prezzo della colazione.

• Nazarena (10/5): - Il riad è fantastico: piccolo, con poche camere, ma estremamente accogliente e confortevole, dotato di tutti i servizi necessari. La colazione è stata ottima! Rachid è stato sempre disponibile, gentilissimo e molto professionale. Avevamo il volo di ritorno molto presto al mattino e ha gentilmente aspettato con noi l’arrivo del taxi davanti al riad. Super consigliato!

• Jaromír (9/5): - Ubytování v super autentické lokalitě v Medině, pár ulic od turistického ruchu, což preferuji. Riád čistý, pokoje dostatečně veliké, trasa i bazének (hodně chlorovaný, čož je asi ok) krása. Nebyl uvítací čajík, který jsme při prvním ubytování v Maroku očekávali. Ale to jen pro doplnění :)

Rachid och Donia gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas och hjälpte till med våra utflykter. Vi kände oss hemma. Vi åker gärna tillbaka till Riad Souad.

Nos quedamos en la suite de la planta de arriba del todo y era muy amplia y cómoda aunque hay que subir unas cuentas escaleras y la habitación de encuentra justo en la piscina. El baño muy bien, con buena potencia en la ducha y amenities. El personal muy atento y servicial aunque nos ofrecieron un te que parecía de cortesía y no nos hubiéramos tomado y nos lo cobraron, aunque estaba especialmente bueno. El desayuno variado. El Riad es bonito pero algo oscuro, es todo muy interior.

La via non era ben segnalata e con indicazioni superficiali per arrivarci.. forse qualche attenzione in più… inoltre per due mattine non abbiamo usufruire della colazione per una sveglia presto e non ho visto chiedermi per colazioni al sacco o alternative

• Secilia (10/5): Sehr schöner Riad - mit allem, was man braucht - Wir hatten eine super Zeit. Dunja und Rashid waren sehr freundlich und sehr fürsorglich. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, als sie auf den Fotos wirken. Aber sie waren hübsch eingerichtet, alles war sehr sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Das Frühstück war lecker und frisch. Schöne Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Stadt. Der Pool ist klein - aber das ist auch nicht anders zu erwarten. Sehr schönes Haus. Liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse. Das ist m-E. ein Vorteil, weil man dann die fruchtbaren Mopeds und Mofas nicht mehr hört und riecht Am Riad selbst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Man muss wissen, dass man nicht direkt hinkann, sondern immer ein Stück laufen muss. Und man muss wissen, dass durch die Altstadt /den Souk pausenlos Mopeds knattern. Auch durch die engsten Stellen. Man muss aufpassen, nicht angefahren zu werden. Und leider läuft man die ganze Zeit durch extremen Abgasqualm. Ein fürchterlicher Zustand. Da müsste die Stadtverwaltung dringend etwas ändern. Daher muss man leider sagen, waren 4 Tage vor Ort auch genug.
• Mercedes (9/5): Gran servicio y comodidad - El trato del personal fué excelente y servicial tanto Rachid como Dunia. El desayuno muy rico todo y parecía que casero.. La decoración es acogedora y cómoda. La habitación confortable, cama cómoda y calida, el baño cómodo, limpio y amplio. Se me perdió una cosa y Dunia, la encargada colaboró en todo momento incluso haciendo llamadas para facilitar.

• Pauline (9/5): - Très bon emplacement, situé en plein cœur de la médina et à 2min du souk. Le personnel a été adorable et arrangeant. Chambre spacieuse, joliment décorée, literie très confortable.
• CHARLOTTE (10/5): Location idéale pour les séjours d'une semaine en famille... A très vite ! - Un grand merci à Nathalie, Dounia, Elidge et Rachid pour leurs sourires, leur accueil et leur disponibilité, c'était vraiment top ! Petits déjeuners exceptionnels et différents chaque jour. Terrasse très agréable au dernier étage, avec vue imprenable sur les montagnes enneigées de l'Atlas. Très bien situé pour arpenter la Medina à pied. On reviendra certainement ! L'insonorisation des chambres pourraient être améliorée, surtout avec la proximité des lieux de prières... Mais cela permet cependant une immersion totale dans la vie de la Medina et le folklore local ! ;-) Le chauffage de la piscine serait un plus fort appréciable en hiver. Les tarifs des repas, transferts riad-aéroport, et excursions sont "un peu" élevés par rapport à ce qui ce pratique ailleurs.

Uno splendido inizio per una splendida esperienza. Era tutto come desideravamo! Nulla di brutto. Tutto perfetto.

• NATALIA (9/5): Recomendable - El personal encantadores, Rachid y Junia. El desayuno muy bueno, abundante y variado. Te dan un té de bienvenida cuando llegas Está en un callejón estrecho, pero cerca de la plaza jefa El Fna, en el corazón de la Medina. Fuimos en familia y cogimos 3 habitaciones. La de arriba da a una terraza con piscina. Hemos estado muy agusto. Trato familiar.
• Jose Miguel (6/5): Decepcionante - Nos asignaron una habitación sin ventanas externas, pegada al escritorio de recepción. La única forma de mantener algo de privacidad era cerrar completamente los tragaluces internos, lo que la dejaba completamente a oscuras. Para la salida solicitamos y pagamos al establecimiento un taxi que nos transportará al aeropuerto temprano en la mañana. Sin embargo a la hora de la partida, y a riesgo de hacernos perder el vuelo, el propietario insistía en que esperemos a otros pasajeros que también iban al aeropuerto para que también sean trasladados en nuestro taxi. Absolutamente incomprensible
• Cécile (8/5): - L emplacement, le rooftop, le bain turc, l accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, la décoration marocaine. La chambre au rez-de-chaussée qui donne directement dans le hall ( trop proche de la réception même si le personnel est discret)ce qui est un frein.
• Guest (9/5): Excellent séjour ! - Excellent séjour dans ce riad typique très bien situé dans l’effervescence de Marrakech mais très au calme avec tout le nécessaire de disponible (produits de toilette, serviettes de bain et de piscine,…). Un merci tout particulier à Dounia et Rachid présents 24/24h pour les clients, pour leur accueil chaleureux, leurs bons conseils et leurs délicieux petits déjeuners. La piscine sur le toit avec la terrasse est un réel atout pour se rafraîchir.
• Bresesti (9/5): - Il Riad è un piccolo gioiellino di poche camere (5) di recente realizzazione. Tutto in stile ma con tutti i comfort compresa aria condizionata. Alcune camere sono più piccole altre più generose ma tutto è dettagliato perfettamente. Colazione ottima (considerando lo standard locale...diversa la valutazione nel caso uno si aspetta una colazione con gli standard italiani). Bella piccola piscina in copertura con solarium soprastante, valore aggiunto per i periodi caldi d'estate. Accoglienza ed attenzione al cliente da parte di tutto il personale. Da provare la cena in Riad Nulla se non un poco di fastidio per i bambini/e del vicolo ( cieco) che si deve attraversare che (stranamente rispetto al resto di quanto da noi visto) chiedono soldi per lasciarti passare...più maleducazione che altro...basta essere decisi e tirare dritto ( il Riad è in fondo al vicolo)
• cristina (7/5): Riad buena pero con poco servicio - La ubicación, cerca de la zona central de la Medina. Tenia piscinas para poder refrescarte que se agradecía por el calor sofocante. Rachid y Dunia son muy amables aunque para hablar con ellos en inglés o francés, no hablan español. Estábamos solos alojados nosotros por lo tanto estábamos muy tranquilos. Solo limpiaron la habitación el primer día. Le tuvimos que pedir reponer el gel ya que se había agotado. En verano con tanto calor estaría bien que ofrecieran agua fresca o alguna nevera para guardarla ya que se nos calentaba enseguida.

Dunia and Rashid welcomed us with such warmth and humanity — always kind, always ready to help. They were constantly available with great advice, it was nice to spend time with them. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the pool was a perfect spot to relax, and the breakfasts were truly delicious every single morning. We felt incredibly well cared for — thank you, Dunia and Rashid, for everything, from all of the Italian group! xxx

• Nicoleta (10/5): I really recommend. - The property is a traditional one ..Very cosy and clean..I had a very relaxing sleep .Rashed and Dounia are very friendly and willing to help you with anything..I ate the best chicken Tagine at the Riad..I have tried outside in three different restaurants anf I didn’t like it at all..But at the Riad is sooo good..I ate once amd I asked for the same dinner for the next day.Also regarding the transport from the airport to Riad you don’t have to worry as they can arrange for you and the price is a lot reasonable. 😆😆 I would like more variety of food at breakfast..like :boiled eggs,omelette,fresh vegetable ..(cucumber,tomatoes)

• Alison (7/5): Just as we expected a traditional riad stay to be. - Friendly helpful staff Roof top terrace and pool Comfortable rooms Good breakfasts and catered for food intolerances well. The location was not ideal. A taxi can’t drop you off at the door, so navigating your way there in the dark lugging suitcases wasn’t ideal. The paving in the alleys leading to the riad were a bit uneven and often unclean, with food litter. We appreciate that’s not the riad fault, but part of Marrakech inner city living.

• Sepideh (8/5): Very good - The staff (Rached and Dounya) were both very nice and welcoming. Our room was comfortable with a great shower and very good wifi. The breakfast was good and plenty. On our last evening, Rached kindly organized our transfer to the airport for the early morning next day on a very short notice and prepared take away breakfast for us. The rooftop has a beautiful view and the architecture of the riad itself is very beautiful. Location: the riad is located in less touristy part of town. We arrived at 21:30 (already dark) and were surrounded by a big group of children who followed us to the riad and kept asking for money. It was very stressful. No card payment: in the property, you have to pay the room in cash either in Euro or DH. As we did not have enough Euro in cash with us, the room’s cost was converted to DH with an unrealistic rate. We ended up paying 15€ more than Booking’s offer. Messy courtyard: It was impossible to enjoy the courtyard because it was messy; there were constantly things (bed sheets, jackets, boxes of water, etc.) left on the tables and chairs. The reception desk right in the courtyard also takes away the charming feeling most riads have.

• Christoph (10/5): Exceptional - What a cosy Riad this is! We had the Junior suit and felt right at home from the beginning. The hosts were amazing, welcoming and very helpful! The location was prefect to explore the Medina of Marrakech by foot. The rooftop was a great place to relax and take a break from all the walking around. We can only recommend staying here!

Breakfast was fresh every morning and delicious. The location couldn't be more perfect, 15 minutes of the big square but also with loads of local shops nearby. The rooftop gives us an amazing view, and the pool is really nice too. Overall, our stay was very good and definitely enjoyed.

Rachid was the best host and did everything to make us feel welcome. We arrived very late at night after a delayed flight and they had arranged for a taxi to pick us up directly from the airport and we had dinner prepared for us which was the best start to the holiday. I would definitely recommend getting a meal at the Riad. The breakfast every morning was perfect and more than enough to start you off for the day. We couldn’t ask for anything more. The room was always clean and tidy, as was the whole Riad. It was a perfect location for us and we managed to walk everywhere no problem. The roof terrace is perfect for relaxing after exploring and I’m sure the pool in the hotter months would be great too. We can’t recommend this Riad enough, there are no faults whatsoever, thank you to the staff for looking after us! We would love to come back! Nothing

• L (9/5): Superb - I really like the staff who work in the riad, very kind and helpful. they always ask if we need anything when do you ask for a taxi or some escursion the guy should pick and drop in the riad not in the street
• Chagra (10/5): Exceptional - We have had a lovely stay in Riad Soud. Dounia and Rachid were looking after us during the whole staying, suggesting different places to visit and making sure we were comfortable and safe. The Riad is 10 minutes walking from the Medina. Breakfast was stunning and very delicious with traditional Moroccan food. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Marrakech.
• Monica (10/5): Exceptional - The riad souad It’s excellent and cozy, well located. The coffee is satisfactory! Rachid and Doumia are wonderful and very welcoming people, they are always willing to help you with a smile on their face! I recommend it to anyone, even if you’re traveling alone, which was my case. Everything was perfect!

• Annika (9/5): Superb - Very nice staff, especially Hasis (not sure if spelled like that), he was amazing. Location looks quite strange when you first arrive, in a small alley, but it's super good. Nice riad with nice terrace. We got the room next to reception, what I didn't like. It was loud in the morning and we felt little privacy since everybody colmuld hear everything and the receptionist is actually sitting like 1 m away form your bed.

• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great! Super friendly staff, Madame Dounia welcomed us with Marocan tea and she also cooked us a very delicious traditional dinner. Rachid gave us the breakfast earlier because we would have eventually lost it because the early departure. He also arranged an airport transfer which was very helpful. Rooms super clean (and cleaned daily) and quiet with very stylish bathroom and air conditioning. Good pretty breakfast. We will surely return!! Nothing

• Carmen (8/5): Beautiful little and calm oasis in the busy Medina with the kindest staff ever - Quiet and small oasis in the middle of the busy Medina. It was clean and nicely decorated, quite comfortable too, although the room was rather on the small side. The bathroom was nice and looked like it was inspired by a Hammam sauna. We liked the coziness and the views of the rooftop, where you had both sun and shade (didn’t try the pool). Lastly, the staff was very helpful - exactly as many others have mentioned in the reviews before. Despite some small downsides, we did enjoy our stay! Even though it is positive that the hotel is tucked away from the closest street and thus noise, the path to the hotel was rather scary the first night as it is down a blind street from a street part where there are no businesses around. On the blind street, everyone you met was friendly and greeting, and on the following evenings, going down that blind street was still a bit uncomfortable but more manageable. Most of the rooms do not have a window towards outside but towards the closed center of the riad, and even though there are only 5 rooms totally, everything is well heard. The bed was rather hard (as generally in Morocco it seems) and the pillows were not that soft either. The WiFi is fully usable only on the ground floor. Lastly, staying for a couple of days, the breakfast had very little variation.
• Monika (9/5): Superb - A very pleasant, quiet place. Entrance to the riad at the end of a narrow street. The neighborhood, despite not looking that way, is very safe. Within walking distance to the main square. Very friendly care of Rahid. Rooms cleaned daily, the riad is very clean. Internet weak, available only in the morning.

• Luiz (10/5): Exceptional - We had the pleasure of staying at Riad Souad in Marrakech, and it was truly a delightful experience. The Riad's traditional architecture added a unique charm to our stay, and the cleanliness of the environment was impeccable. The central location was convenient for exploring the city. What truly stood out, though, were the outstanding staff members, Rashid and Dunia. Their attentive service ensured we had a fantastic time throughout our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Riad Souad to anyone visiting Marrakech; it's an excellent choice for an authentic and enjoyable stay.
• Anonymous (1/5): horrible - the host didnt respect our privacy. he went through our stuff without any consent and got caught. we booked breakfast and paid for it but didnt get any breakfast on any of the days. we had to pay for water while its 48 degrees outside. the hotel room was underwhelming and the ac did not work properly. there was cat litter everywhere and the area smelt really bad. we didnt get to enjoy our sleep becouse he would knock on our door just to chat. he was very thouchy and we did not appreaciate that. all and all our experince was traumatizing.
• Pedro (10/5): Exceptional - This Riad is beautiful. Very cosy and comfortable, very well located in the Medina, a few minutes by foot from the main square. The staff is very kind, especially Rashid, who I thank for the hospitality. If and when I go back to Marrakech, I'll stay there again. Highly recommended.
• Anca (7/5): Good - The riad is nice and the people that work there are very friendly. They are always very helpful. The place is very cute and well preserved, even thought the rooms are a bit small. I would recommend to have the airport pickup arranged via them, especially if you have an evening flight. The riad might be difficult to find the first time. The bed is very hard and small, so if you need a soft bed this is not the place for you. The rooms have no sound proofing, which effectively means that you can hear everything always. With people coming late and leaving early it’s difficult to get a good night of sleep. The internet is really bad, so if you need to work, this is not the place to stay.

The staff were fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. They went out there way to provide with late notice dinner requests and even help me get back to the Riad safely!!. Thank you to Divarna and Radish for looking after me so well-you’re both amazing 🙏. Tis extremely generous and appreciated for your efforts and making my stay utterly special. Also to Natalie ( the owner of the Riad) and everyone else that is part of this wonderful Riad. An unforgettable place and I will definitely return 🙏 The wonderful views of the Altas mountains -from the roof top terrace and the atmosphere, surroundings of the families and children playing in the streets below ❤️

• Peter (9/5): The Riad Souad was exactly what we hoped it would be. - This was the second Riad we had stayed in - the taxi driver dropped us off in a little square about 3 minutes walk down the narrow alleys away from its imposing front door (a downloaded Google map of Marrakech was helpful here). Rashid’s warm welcoming smile made us feel immediately at home in this classic building with its light courtyard, comfortable sitting area and wooden shuttered grillwork. The location couldn’t have been better - 10-15 minutes walk to the always-interesting Jemaa el-Fnaa central plaza along fascinating noise and bustle, yet we slept in absolute quiet. We stayed one night, and returned for two more nights in a different room after our High Atlas trek. A slight challenge to find first time - but so is everything in the Medina! Don’t let it deter you!
