Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (4/5): I would not stay here again. The only redeeming quality was they let me check in early and the room was cold. - It was close to the airport and graduation I was attending. It was very old and outdated, it smelled funny and the neighborhood seemed sketchy.
- syed zahid ali (1/5): It was a bad decision - I have been charged for free breakfast but breakfast was not provided . Furniture at room was outdated. Noise pollution due to construction work . Staff was rude . Out dated furniture, breakfast commitment , noise pollution
- Blair (1/5): Dont stay here! - It was close to Mets stadium There is construction going on starting at 7am! There was no hot water this morning. The bed was so uncomfortable. This was the worst place I have stayed using booking.com. beyond frustrating

- Julio (10/5): - Tv had horrible signal.
- Julio (10/5): - Poor tv quality
- Julio (10/5): - TV quality is not good.
- Edwards (3/5): - The staff were nice and accommodating. My bad review is in no way regarding the staff, more of just the area it is located. The area the hotel is in is not the best part of town. Prostitution is evident, parking is difficult when the hotel's garage is closed. Train tracks are right above the hotel and can be loud depending on where your room is located. The overall area is pretty sketchy.

- Kathleen (5/5): The hotel served its purpose but was a little expensive for the accommodations provided. - The room was clean and the bathroom was clean The bed was awful, hard as a rock. The mattress was sitting on top of a metal type of frame which was a bit noisy. The air conditioner was very loud. There was no breakfast ( maybe I was mistaken but I thought it was an option).
- Mario (7/5): Good - Walking distance to US ope Surrounding maybe not safe at night
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Karen (1/5): Stay away!!! - Absolutely nothing Everything. Gross, smelly, uncomfortable room. I could barely sleep. This room was supposed to be non-smoking but it clearly wasn’t. The bed and pillows were hideously uncomfortable. The hum of the air conditioner and street noise kept me awake. I felt unsafe and the area is awful.
- William (8/5): Very convenient to Arthur Ash tennis stadium - Location and parking availability. A bit tired.
- Bob (10/5): location saved us time and money and added to our actvity - Very near Citi Stadium. Windows seemed dirty.
- Jonathan (4/5): Simple - La ubicación es estratégica Huele mal, olor a marihuana, limpieza pobre
- Dionys (9/5): -

- Nosir (7/5): -
- Eduardo (8/5): - Very clean room. The refrigerator didn't work. Some furniture broken.
- Rafael (8/5): -
- Tenzin (8/5): - Prime limited parking spot. Location and affordable. Mattress not the most comfortable and linen has spot stain in couple of spot.
Otherwise it is good for price.
- Ibrahim (5/5): -
- Muhammad (6/5): - Nice
- Andree (6/5): - The staff was courteous and very helpful. However, this is probably one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever been in. It is directly next to the subway train track. Also, one evening there was quite a bit of noise in the hallway due to people arguing and going in and out of doors. Ugh.
- Taylor (6/5): - Grateful it had a parking lot. I would not stay again.
- Manuel (8/5): - .
- Nebojša (8/5): - It was ok
- Julianna (10/5): - The hotel is right next to the subway, at the sacrifice of having to hear the subway throughout the day. However super pleasant experience!
- Darel (10/5): - Good
- Melvyn (6/5): - yes
- Eric (5/5): If you want a place that’s close to the airport, smells of old cigarette and marijuana smoke, loud train noise, old outd - The staff were nice, Not much else. The neighborhood, the hookers, the smell, all the noise, the keys that didn’t work.
- Daniel (8/5): - We appreciate it how close the hotel was to LaGuardia airport – 10 minute drive – and then it was within walking distance of our final destination. The rooms were clean and quiet, I’ll be at simple. We would stay there again.
- TIANNA (8/5): - They had parking behind the hotel that was reasonable and the room was clean wirh some updates. Target and Skyview mall are a close 5 min. drive for shopping.
- Imran (6/5): -
- Heidi (10/5): - Hidden gem! Clean, updated, secure parking. Super close to transit, good food options nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
- Josef (8/5): - No bar, clean room, friendly staff
- Julie (6/5): - My bad did not check about the subway. Hotel is directly beside very noisy subway that runs 24/7. Hotel itself ok, dated, but not terrible. Area in queens is a bit rough but overall friendly people all around. Great food options all around. Subway is super convenient for trip into NYC but it’s a long ride. Overall not a bad stay but for the price thought it would be better.
- Vivian (10/5): - The hotel was very clean. It’s right next to the train, but we couldn’t hear it from our room. There wasn’t a mini fridge or microwave in the room, but there was a microwave in the lobby.
- Jennifer (5/5): We requested different pillows and the staff brought them to us in the middle of the night when we requested but they we - Proximity to LGA and the staff was very helpful and polite, very clean rooms and spaces for an older hotel. Felt safe. The beds, which seemed new, were hard as a rock and the pillows were even harder. I am not exaggerating when I say that the bed was literally like sleeping on a slab of concrete and the pillows were like sacks of sand.
Also, the train is directly above / adjacent to the hotel, which was loud (we were on the 5th floor) the train noise was loud but the hotel seemed to be built well because it wasn’t that big of a deal with the noise. Due to the closeness to LGA the flight path was directly overhead… again, didn’t really bother us, but it is there. The beds/ pillows were the most negative thing about it. Bedding was clean, bathrooms were clean, etc. just so hard and uncomfortable
- Sandra (9/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): - Met my needs.
- Pablo (10/5): - Great Hotel
- debra (10/5): -
- Belinda (8/5): Super Convenient hotel for US Open - tennis - The location to the tennis courts was so convenient , its a 15min walk. During the tennis open you can see all the cars stuck in the traffic, but there you are strolling back to hotel. It is also near the subway station, and 30mins into Manhattan.
There are lots of Mexican, S American type restaurants nearby which opens to late at night.
People around there are super friendly.
the hotel provides hot water, coffee, tea and there is a ice machine on every floor.
The staff at the reception are all super nice to me. Water was not provided daily and you have to ask for it.
- Freijedo (10/5): -
- Russell (4/5): - The photos seem to be from an earlier time, there is no restaurant or food, only a coffee machine. The front desk is now behind bullet proof glass and you talk through a speaker to the receptionist. The area is rough. The rooms are clean and it is a close walk to the ball park and tennis center so that is a bonus. The train is elevated and runs outside the fourth floor, if you're in the back of the building the train noise is not an issue.
The staff is helpful and friendly. For any kind of meal, you have to leave the premises or order in.
- Carlos (8/5): - To noisy, the bathroom doesn’t have shampoo, soap.
- Thomas (6/5): - The room and staff were really nice. Would’ve liked a heads up that there is 2 subways that go by every 20 minutes or so, made for some long nights
- Irene (8/5): - It was certainly convenient to walk to BJK tennis but know that when you are walking back at night the road is very dark in sections and it made us feel very vulnerable. The hotel doesn't mention that you are right next to RR tracks so expect that trains will be noisy. We DID NOT notice this during the nite...Thankfully! The breakfast is a letdown. Be sure and save the KIND bars you receive upon arrival as you'll need them for breakfast! One of the cleanest bathroom/shower I've ever used!!
- Madeleine (10/5): - We loved how close this hotel was to the tennis center! Made our stay easy!
- Marianne (8/5): - Nothing fancy but a decent spot for an overnight visit.
- Ana Laura (8/5): - Good
- Mark (10/5): Convienent - Easy access to the subway. Convenient access to Citi Park and USTA National Tennis Center.
Not the greatest of neighboorhoods, but I feel unsafe. Subway rails are VERY close to room, but that's white noise to me.
- Richard (1/5): - Nothing Location. Noise all night from overhead train. Felt unsafe.
- Tyasia (8/5): The stress-free Hotel - Hotel nice, clean, not bugs or weird smells, ac ran cold, lotion, bodywash, shampoo n conditioner already there No microwave in the room, no closet rack(their was a tiny wardrobe it just was too low for what I need to hang)
- Melanie (7/5): -
- Calvin (8/5): - I only spent one night here but, overall the experience was good. I checked in 4 hours early, was able to walk to the USOpen, and didn’t have any problem navigating the hotel. It’s small, but that’s ok. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star, is my floor was sticky from some kind of cleaner, which really was only noticeable with shoes on. The latch in my door was loose and probably could pop off if the door was really pushed into it. Other than that, a good quality stay. Probably over priced but if you’re looking to stay in Queens and be close to Citi Field or The Billie Jean King Tennis Center, this is a good, reasonably distanced option.
- Leigh (6/5): - Would not bring children here. There was a channel showing xrated movies. We were there for a baseball game.and it was a short walk to the stadium. Parking was free but limited. Pull in front to check in.
- Patrick (8/5): A OK Stay. - It was a good stay. Was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Didn't like that there was no Fridge, or coffee in the room or lobby.
- cristiana (3/5): Muito ruim - Nada Tudo - localização, quarto, serviço, custo - péssimos
- Sean (10/5): - I definitely like this place
- John (10/5): - My partner and I loved the neighborhood and all the amazing food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was huge
- Onkar (7/5): -
- FERNANDO (7/5): Just for the night to go back to the airport - Close to La Guardia airport No breakfast available, it is necessary to go outside
No facilities, only the room to stay
- FERNANDO (7/5): Just enough for the night when you need to go early to La Guardia - Close to La Guardia Airport No facilities.
No breakfast available.
Scary surrounding during the night, not very nice during the day.
- Krinkles28 (4/5): Avoid - As per usual, summer storms cancelled an enormous amount of flights, leaving thousands of passengers stranded at LGA. I tried (and failed) to book a one way car to get to my destination, and hotels near LGA were in short and expensive supply. There was one very close to the airport with terrible reviews on booking.com but Corona Hotel had a decent price tag and decent reviews....on booking.com. Had I checked here, I would have run the other way.
The Good: cheap enough for one night, based on prices around LGA for that night. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. There is an elevator to the rooms and the lobby. The room appeared clean.
The Bad: not as close to LGA as I would have liked - either a 15 minute cab ride costing more money, or a 30 min bus and subway ride.
The Ugly: I had a non-smoking room but the air conditioner cycled through stale air that had an undercurrent of old smoke and other nasty smells. The room was fairly quiet with earplugs but a harsh artificial light beamed through the curtains and made it hard to sleep. Even if that was not the case, the bed was hideously uncomfortable and the pillows felt like they were stuffed with balled up pieces of material. I got one and a half hours of sleep because I finally passed out from exhaustion at 4:30am and had to be up at 6:00am. The general feel of the hotel was seedy and sketchy and the area it is in is much the same. I could not get out of there fast enough the next morning.
Summary: do not stay here, even if it is cheap. You will not sleep a wink and you will leave feeling like you are covered with a thin film of grime - even though the rooms look clean.
- Angela (6/5): - bed not cleaned properly
- Angeles (10/5): - Great location, nice, big and clean rooms. Recommend if you down mind street noise
- Samantha (10/5): Came for a concert. Slept comfortably. Left very pleased. - Rooms were clean, bathroom was the cleanest i've ever seen. The room was comfortable, especially the beds. Not really a big deal but I wish there was more to breakfast than just coffee BUT I enjoyed my stay nevertheless.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - Clean room comfortable bed. Would have liked an in room refrigerator.
- Joyce (10/5): - Check in was quick. My room was clean, staff was helpful and the location is very convenient. Close to the airport and CitiField stadium.
- Williams (8/5): Very good -
- Coe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khilnani (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing Everything
