- Amy (10/5): Quaint boutique hotel! - This hotel was lovely! The staff were very kind and the property was very clean and well kept. It is located on a side street on the west side of the Ancient City, which I found to be more quiet than the east side. Wat Phra Singh was a very short walk away. And a 7-11 was very close by too. The hotel has a restaurant on site, which had good food and excellent service.

Being in the old town, it is within easy walking distance of many temples, night markets and dining/shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again.

- Francois (10/5): - Very quaint small hotel right in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. The small pool is lovely on those hot days after exploring the city. Staff is extremely friendly and the place was spotless. We took advantage of the mini convenience store across from the hotel that also serves as the local bar. We hung out with the locals before or after heading out to dinner.

- Gillian (10/5): - The Charcoa is a beautiful and unique boutique hotel in a quiet area that is nonetheless 5 minutes from a main road. It has about a dozen rooms (named after characters from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings), so it's personal. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Our room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed and a big bath. All around great stay.

The only issue I have is the shower, where the water pressure was really weak and the temperature took a bit of time to warm up. If they can improve that then they'd be great.

Check out was quick, but One thing that caught us off guard though was we got charged for a “dirty” hand towel which we don't get.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - 올드 타운내에 있는 중세 유럽풍의 호텔. 아담한 수영장을 가지고 있지만 있을껕 다 있는 호텔. 피자류의 이탈리안 음식이 맛이 있음. 방은 넓고 내부도 아기 자기 하고 좋았으나 청소시에 화장실을 제대로 안하는거 같음. 또한 하수구 냄새가 너무 올라오는 단점이 있음. 스위트에 4일 묶었는데 발코니를 사용할수가 없었음. 비둘기등의 새들의 배설물이 많음.. 역시 청소를 해주진 않음... 직원들은 매우 친절 했음. 조식은 나름 맛이 있었고 특히 바나나 머핀이나 바나나케익이 맛있었음.

- Judith (10/5): Great location in the old city, quirky and clean - I wanted a hotel where I was close to the markets and wats in the old city. I was travelling alone so the hotel had to have a restaurant and bar for me to use at night. I felt very safe here and all the staff were friendly. The reception staff each morning waved me goodbye and waved me back on my return. I choose to stay in a Junior Suite as I was there for 7 days and wanted a bigger room than the standard size. It was serviced every day and was very clean. The bed was one of the softest I have slept on in Thailand. The bathroom was a good size.The room did have a balcony but was only small. My room looked out on to the road but it was very quiet. The breakfast was good, had a good choice of fruit, breads and main courses. Whilst I was there watched them install an omelet station as well as an outside balcony area. Both well needed and provided an additional choice of food as well as space. I ate several times in the restaurant at night and both the local and Western food was delicious and good quantity and well priced.All the staff were friendly and could speak English. In particular Josh who spoke to me every day asking where I was going and if I needed any assistance. I used uber to get around from the hotel to other parts of Chiang Mai. I could have stayed longer as lots to see and do as well as relax by the pool. I would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again when I visit Chaing Mai again. In particular liked the deisgn of the hote
- Sharayah (10/5): Amazing place to stay! - One thing that isn’t advertised is that all of the room are named after Lord of The Rings characters. My husband and I found that incredibly endearing. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. Our daughter enjoyed them very much as well. The service was prompt, the food delicious and the hotel is like being in a different country somewhere in Switzerland. We will return.

Par contre la literie est vraiment vraiment trop dure et la chambre standard petite... là piscine est chouette et le petit déj aussi. Emplacement au calme à 25min a pied du night bazar mais les mieux Frida/saturday/sunday mar’et qui seront’ plus prêts... vélos à disposition gratuitement, navette aéroport 200baths.

- Diego (8/5): Hôtel bien placé et joli - L'état général de l'hôtel est bon et le personnel est sympathique. Néanmoins leurs conseils ne sont pas le seul moins onéreux pour les touristes. Nous avons payé 1,000 thb pour un allé retour à wat su tep en taxi public alors que sur place les taxis proposent dès retour à 60thb. La position de l'hôtel est pratique pour marcher dans le centre mais deux établissement portent le même nom était le GPS peut se tromper (attention) Les points négatifs sont les matelas beaucoup trop durs erbium l'eau de la salle de bain qui ne sent pas bon par moment.
