Guest Reviews
- MaryKay (2/5): - The room was gross.
- Joshua (2/5): - Room was nasty. Moldy and very run down
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hoping for an upgrade. - We have stayed here many times but it has really run down over the years. It needs renovation. Paint peeling off walls, phone not working, shower was difficult to manage.
- Laura (6/5): - SCould not get shower controls to work properly. Faucet leaked.
My biggest complaint is with EXPEDIA! It cost us more to pay for the room thru Expedia (Like $34 more!) than it cost to pay for the room direct thru the hotel reservations!! Will not use Expedia again!
- billy (6/5): - Hair dryer did not work. Shower curtain did not keep water off the floor. Floor is ceramic tile and slippery when wet.
Roaches. Was advertised as "dog friendly " but charged an extra $28.00 a night.
This motel was advertised as "no charge cancelation " but was unable to get a refund for an extra day that I paid for, Wed.
- Robert (8/5): - Motel was easily accessed from the main highway
- Annette (8/5): - Close to where we needed to be.
Much too expensive going through Expedia. The room cost was $93.23. Expedia charged over $130. to make the reservation. Next time I'll do it directly.
- Shirley (6/5): Needs Update - The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The hotel needs to be updated. Lamps and fixtures show rust. The bathroom fixtures are old and outdated (hard to operate). Rooms just need to be updated. I only stay here because it's the only reasonably priced hotel in my small town
- Mary (4/5): - We were given a smoking room and told that it was the only accommodation available. The chair in the room should have been removed long ago and the carpet needed cleaning. The door to the bathroom vanity needed repair. It literally fell in the floor. We have stayed there before and the rooms were much better then.
- Chuline (8/5): Welcoming and kind staff - The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. However, the linen on my bed had hair and dirt which tells me CLEAN linen was not on the bed when I arrived.
- Mingming (8/5): - They have breakfast which is good. No laundry room. No elevator.
- Justin (10/5): - Good stay after a late night in Athens for a football game.
- brat (8/5): - I saw roaches in the bathroom area. Otherwise it was clean.
- Tico (6/5): - Cable tv was not working the whole time I was there
- Linda (4/5): - Needs to be updated. Shower fixture needed to be replaced. Roaches found in room.
- Vicki (4/5): Manager was great; it’s all downhill after that! - Check in was awesome. Such a friendly and personable manager. Then we get to the room. Mold on bathroom door and curtain; shower water faucet had to be pulled out super hard as both of us thought it just didn’t work. When I called the front desk and found this out, the person said several of the rooms were like that and people were afraid of pulling too hard to turn it in. Picked up a napkin in the smoky breakfast nook and a roach crawled out. Coffee maker had an out of order sign, but there was coffee beside it, so confusing sign for sure. Vending machine was out of order too. Motel Looks clean at first look, but definitely needs lots of attention.
- Shirley (10/5): - Nothing about the room was amazing, since it’s a 2 star hotel. The staff was amazing. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The lamps are tarnished/rusty, you can hear the person showering in the next room.
- Cara (10/5): - We stayed here while attending the Masters golf tournament. It's a short drive from there but worked well for us to get in and out of August for the event. This is a you-get-what-you-pay-for no frills hotel. Very friendly service. Very clean. Comfortable bed and bedding. Limited local dining but plenty of food and gas options at nearby exits.
- John (4/5): - Difficult sleeping, neighbors were up ALL night talking very LOUD. Plug in air fresheners were set to Max causing our eyes to burn. Back side of bathroom door filthy. The jacuzzi tub was missing jets and was inoperable.
- Jayne (10/5): Fine except for a water problem - We checked in around midnight and needed to leave early. All was fine except the water would not turn on in the bath. Had to do a sink bath due to our schedule
- Lori (10/5): - Keisha was very cordial and a great contact for the hotel.
- Mike (8/5): - Very nice staff. Needs to work on rubbery eggs. Everything else was great.
- Mark (8/5): - The bed was fine but glad we brought our own pillows.
- Kristen (6/5): - This hotel is an older facility, but was well maintained. Two stories, stairs on outside, doors open to outside. The rooms were clean and everything in our room worked fine. The building is right beside the highway so there was a little road noise as our room was on the end and closest to the road. The outside lighting was good and parking lot felt safe. Breakfast was meager but sufficient. Regular coffee was empty, but I drink decaf and it was full. :-)
It was convenient and sufficient for the one night we were there. I was very glad to have a place to stay near Kettle Creek and Washington Georgia and would stay there again. I liked that they obviously recycled their key cards.
- Tami (8/5): - Everyone working here went above and beyond to give great customer service. Property is in need of many updates but I could see that they work hard to make it the best that they can.
- David (10/5): - Quality Inn is the best of the available choices for this area. It is well maintained for its age, with a clean room and friendly and helpful staff members.
- Harvey (10/5): - Older property but in good condition
- Thaddeus (8/5): - Nice experience
- KiAira (10/5): - The employees are really nice. The room was clean no issues at all
- James (8/5): - The manager was great with checking in and out.
- Priscilla (4/5): - Breakfast was very limited. Motel room was very dated. Stopper in tub would not drain
- Kristen (10/5): - For a small motel in the middle of nowhere. I was highly impressed with the new furniture and flooring in the room, the helpfulness of the staff, and the general professionalism. Would definitely stay here again. Very clean, quiet, and safe.
- Ricki (6/5): - There was an old coffee pod still in the coffee maker and the powder creamer had been around long enough that it was crunchy.
- RICHARD (10/5): - What a great surprise to stay is the cleanest quality inn I have ever been in. This place could easily be a Holiday Inn
- Kimberly (6/5): - The staff was excellent when we checked in. The walls were so thin there was no sleep because you heard the people in the next room talking all night long. The next morning I went to check out and waited at the counter for over 30 minutes before a very nice lady who was cleaning the breakfast area told me to leave my key on the desk. There was someone’s key to who knows what (not room keys) on the desk and I really didn’t want to go near it. I told here there were keys there. First night was great. Second night made me never want to stay there again. Had a lot of work todo and was drained all day from no sleep and late leaving because of no staff. I will be visiting this area often over the next year and will probably stay in Elberton.
- Kelly (8/5): - The front desk person and the house cleaners were so friendly and polite! We were initially were assigned a second floor room but needed a first floor room so it was easier to take our dog out. Even though one was not available, the front desk clerk knocked herself out rearranging other reservations so we were able to get a first floor room. The property needs some updating but overall we were happy with our stay.
- Charles W (8/5): - Very convenient
- michael (6/5): - small toilet, cheap faucets , dirty floors
- Faye (8/5): - Updated barhroom. Handles for tub/shower
Too close to an active highway
Heard traffic all night
Nice heated swimmng pool
- Norma Faye (8/5): - TV did not work good, comode did not flushproperly, roaches
- jeffrey (8/5): Nice Stay - Stayed for one night while passing through on our way to Florida. You can see they are making upgrades. Check in took a few minutes due to new computer system. The staff was very friendly and apologetic about it. Room was very nice. AC was ice cold water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast was very basic waffles and cereal but very good. There is a great Mexican restaurant across the street. I would stay here again.
- Albert (10/5): Good accomodations. - Everything was great. I plan on staying again.
- Linda F (10/5): - I’ve stayed here for years. Small town older facility. Cleaner than it used to be for sure. Most rooms have newer flooring. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff is the key here now. Excellent service.
- Daniel (8/5): - Pretty dirty but I already knew what I was getting into the area is very limited.
- David (2/5): - The only rooms available were smoking rooms. I can live with that. What I can’t live with is the number of roaches I killed in the room. You’re welcome Quality Inn. That doesn’t include the numerous other bugs in the room. There were also several dead bugs that hadn’t been picked up. The bathroom was shady with more bugs and several roaches. The worst part is I was charged just over $100 a night for two nights. I will not be staying in Washington, GA again. I will drive the extra 30 miles and stay in Augusta. This place is ridiculous. This hotel needs some serious renovations. And please, call Orkin or some other pest control company.
- Evelyn (10/5): Family trip - Our stay was good
- Brian (10/5): - Old school but well kept
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Well, this is really your only option in Washington, GA unless you want to stay at the Fitzpatrick in the downtown square but it's always sold out.I've been coming to Washington to visit friends for years and years and have always stayed here thru all the many changes. It's not the best, it's not the worst. I like the fact it doesn't have carpet on the floors anymore but I still never walk barefooted in a hotel room anywhere... I wear footies and they're always dirty after walking around in these rooms... but that also applies to other hotels, too, so not really surprised by this. Last visit was in July and I was not impressed with the rusty, nasty looking shower head... hopefully that will be changed since I will again be staying in that room in Oct. It wasn't available this time so I had to be charged $10 extra dollars for a double versus a king since I wanted to be on the 1st floor. Frankly, I thought this was tacky. They should have just put me in a double non-smoking at no charge. But, oh well. The water pressure here is excellent and, for the most part, it's a clean, decent hotel. I don't eat breakfast there... I go down the street to Padgett's for a real breakfast. The absolute best part of this hotel is Kia, the front desk clerk... and I have an idea she wears all the other hats there, too! She's friendly and personable and remembers people from previous visits and what's going on with them... that's a huge plus! AND, she checks the rooms prior, too! She's great!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rooms smell like cigarettes and mildew, covered up by too much room freshener to try to hide it. Food wrappers were under the desk and next to the bed. The windows have wayer on them on the inside and the room is damp. I was put in a smoking room and asked the front desk attendant for a non-smoking room and she didn’t want to switch me because of all the extra work it caused her to exchange me a new room. She said it’s my fault for not telling her I need a non-smoking room on check in. It’s the only hotel in Washington, GA so they know you have no where else to go. I’ll stay outside of the city for work next time and only go in for the day and leave the city at night.
- Kim (6/5): Nasty smoking room - We were given a smoking room which reaked of cigarette smoke. I NEVER request a smoking room, so this is on Hotel.com I feel. We were moved to the only room available, also a smoking room but not as nasty. The staff were as nice as they can be, and it wasn’t their fault. Otherwise this would have been a nice stay, and the margaritas across the street are good!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay. Very clean. The bed was very confortable.
- jennifer (8/5): Good - Bed was comfy. Bedding was clean. Corners and beside bed could use some cleaning. Supplies adequate
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Me gustó mucho la limpieza y tenía un buen olor. Además muy comodo
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No hot water, rooms were old and not kept up very well, charged top dollar because there was an event in town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a good stay, but it had advertised a continental breakfast and that was not the case.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We didn’t expect much due to the rural location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The big problem was the three roaches we found in our room. One ran across the bed. The place needs a lot of repairs and upgrade. The carpets were all stained, grout needed fixed, walls painted. Linens were clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The employees were friendly, I didn’t like that the room had flies, probably because when cleaning the doors are opened, I noticed this in several rooms as I was leaving
- Steven (4/5): Frankly disgusting. - The hotel was really dirty. There were dead bugs inside the room that wasn’t vacuumed up, dirty linens, badly stained carpets, burn holes in the linens from smokers. WILL NOT stay here again.
- Nikia (10/5): - The hotel was very friendly and accommodated our needs
- Bryan (8/5): - The hotel itself is good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): reat sleep. - This hotel is clean and nice.
- JD (6/5): Lil hick town with matching hotel accomodations - This stay sucked, it was a complication with my check in on your end that took 47 minutes to correct, made me late for a party that was being thrown in my honor. In calling hotels.com customer service line the support was even more frustrating. To accomodate my troubles a $30 credit was applied to my account which paled in comparison to what was lost in time.
The water didn't get very hot im the shower and the entry door didnt feel secure, I rigged a chair under the knob in order to feel comfortable. There was no selection on your site for Washington, GA
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This quality inn is very clean!
Very close to gas station and McDonald’s
Right a crossed the street from a Mexican restaurant and grocery store
Very friendly workers!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room is in poor maintenance. The bathtub still had hair in it from the previous guest.
- Mike (10/5): - The welcome desk was staffed by a very friendly, helpful person. The bed was comfortable. This is a budget hotel, but it did not feel cheap. It was a great value overall.
- Rachel (10/5): Goodnight sleep - Nice comfortable beds a place for a good night sleep to get you threw your trip
- Jimmy (4/5): - Requested a first floor handicap accessible room for 85 year old with mobility issues. Unfortunately, front desk gave that room to someone else. Only other room on second floor and no elevator. So much for paying in full ahead of check in.
- Patrice (8/5): - This hotel needs a remodel soon; the rooms are showing wear and tear. However beds are very comfortable. We like having a fridge in the room. The coffee is quite good. Staff are excellent and very pleasant. It meets our needs when we visit my mom nearby.
- William (8/5): Comfortable Stay - An older refurbished hotel in a fairly quiet area of a small town. The rooms have been redecorated recently and are comfortable. The only thing displeasing to me, yet common in many properties, is a small room with a round seat toilet and bathtub, so small that you can barely get inside and close the door. Breakfast choices amazingly good, however, cramped into a remodeled hotel room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pleasant over night stay. Room smelled clean, not stale or moldy. Ladies at front service desk were helpful and sweet..
- Chris (8/5): - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation.
- JLRA (6/5): - Not a lot of options in Washington, GA. It's just okay... it's old and really needs updating but the staff is nice. It's fine for a nite, maybe 2.
- kathy (8/5): Start of a vacation. - It was just what we were looking for. Easy and convenient.
- Carlos (2/5): Not good - Not good We were there one night we arrived for a family visit we checked in at 1:30 we rested a bit for the 6 hour ride, then we got tired and left at 6:30 p.m. We returned at 12:45 p.m. night when when we were packing everything for out we saw that some things were missing we stole the lotions and other things we reported in the office but it seemed not to care
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I had no problem with this Hotel at all will stay there again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Blankets, curtains and floors were dirty!! Probably won’t stay again
