This was a nice simple guest house, within walking distance of the old town on the other side of the river which was nice and central to get about but far enough away to avoid the noise. Nice and quiet, no noise from the road in the room, which was great. A simple breakfast was included, lovely friendly staff. Great value for money. We would gladly stay again. Could do with some handsoap in the bathroom alongside the shower gel. Nothing to complain about, housekeeping missed cleaning the room one day when we'd put the sign up to do so but that was the only very minor thing.

Bien situé avec restaurants et commerces à proximité, à 5/7 min à pied du vieux marché et du night street food et market. Piscine propre et très appréciable après des journées de visites caniculaire. Clim dans la chambre tout juste rafraîchissante sans que la chambre ne devienne un congélateur. Les chambres ne sont pas toute jeune, mais elles sont bien entretenues . Il y a comme une odeur de renfermé / rance dans l'eau de la douche et lavabo, mais je pense que cela est dû à la ville en soit et non à la guesthouse.

Piscine très agréable après une journée dans les ruines d'Angkor... Super chambre au calme. Emplacement à 5mn à pied du marché de nuit. Gare routière à 2mn à pied.

• Cara (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a good location - I loved my stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable, and all the facilities were exactly as pictured. There was also decent WiFi, plus plenty of hot water and water pressure for showers. I also appreciated the electric kettle for making tea and coffee.

• JOAO (10/5): Perfect! Lovely staff, very comfortable! - Incredible hospitality, we never felt so good and so welcome in a hotel. Nika and her staff is amazing, we felt home. Rooms very comfortable, good ac, warm and very high water pressure shower. Breakfast is quite nice an fresh, they even offered a breakfast box in one of the days since we were leaving before breakfast. The location is also great, not in the noisy area of the city but still many many options to eat and shop 1-2min walking. The noisy/vibrant part of the city is like 12min walking and perfectly safe to do so, if you want to check it out it’s very reachable. This could be the best hotel stay I ever had.

Tara, Nika’s sister, brought me a towel when I was in the pool. I didn’t even ask, she just saw I was there and brought me 2 big fresh towels. So kind. Nika is on top of things and also very helpful. What a great experience I had here. Top-notch courtesy for the customers. I will stay here again next time I come to Siem Reap. 💯💯💯 I have nothing negative to say.

Habitaciones amplias, limpieza excelente, baño correcto, cama cómoda y aire acondicionado que funciona bien. Tienen piscina en buen estado con zona para niños de menos profundidad. Está a pocos minutos caminando del centro. Tiene restaurantes alrededor muy buenos. Contratamos con ellos traslados al aeropuerto y también alquiler de moto, todo correcto. En general todo perfecto! • Kenneth (10/5): A true gem of a hotel in the heart of Siem Reap… - It seems that in Siem Reap there are quite a few gems of hotels and this is definitely one of them. The location is excellent! Just a five minute walk to the Night Market and surrounded by ATM’s, cafes and restaurants and two supermarkets. The hotel itself has a lovely garden and swimming pool with a grand wooden staircase leading up to the second and third floors. The rooms themselves are spacious and very nicely furnished. The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are comfortable. The price being asked for such a relaxing stay is more than fair.

• Aljaž (9/5): Superb - It's a basic accommodation but has everything you could possibly need in Siem Reap: a comfy bed, functioning air conditioning and a clean bathroom. The owners are very nice too. The warm breakfast is tasty and comes in very handy before you go exploring the Angkor ruins for the day. The location is practical too: you have a few big supermarkets nearby and the main tourist centre of the town is only a few minutes away on foot.

The swimming pool is next to the road and tables where guests are eating so it doesn't invite for a swim. The breakfast is okay, but most of it is not fresh, for instance juices. The bedroom was nice, except if you are sensitive to noise, you could hear the music in the street until 2am.

They were a great help with all of our questions and with the tours to ankor wat/bus/tuk tuk etc. The room is amazing prepared, not to loud at night, good pressure in the shower and nice breakfast. After the checkout we stayed at die pool und even got fruits. Overall we had a very good time and can really recommend staying there!

We were picked up at the airport by Nika herself. She also arranged a Tuk Tuk driver to take us to the Giant Ibis bus station on departure. The delicious vegetarian breakfast was simple yet freshly prepared to order each morning and was served beautifully. The room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned daily. Nika helped to organise Angkor Archaeological Park tours at reasonable rates with a fantastic tuk tuk driver and also obtained our tickets for the circus. The location is great being a few minutes walk from the centre. We would highly recommend this hotel as it is outstanding value for money. Nothing at all.

You have around 10 min walk to pub street so you will save a lot of money and have great convenience eating out in Cambodia after angkor wat. - The owner is the best. She is very committed to ensuring you get the best out of your stay in siem reap. She picked me up and dropped me off the airport, called my tour guide when they were a bit late to check up on them for me without me even requesting, laundry service is super reliable! She has an awesome personality too that I thank her for the accommodating me here. THE Reviews here really reflect on how great this accommodation is so I highly recommend you to check it out and book a stay. I can honestly say that if I come back to cambodia, this is a place I will likely come back to.

My room was very big and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Also, they brought me a nice welcome tray with a sweet tea, cold towel, and vegetable chips when I checked in, which was much appreciated in the hot weather. The small fridge in the room turns off when you take the electricity card out of the wall.

• Empublicfile (10/5): A great spot to chill after a day (and night) of exploration. - For a 3-month old hotel, The One by Nika is a remarkable family-run establishment. It is conveniently located only 10 minutes (on foot) from Seam Reap hot spots (market, night market, Pub Street, riverside street food center, etc), near 2 local supermarkets, and surrounded by a number of eateries. The hotel has a bar by the pool - the owner has plans to further develop this area into either an exclusive dining place or resort-style accommodation. The hotel has minimalistic decor at this point, but I expect the interior would be richly decorated with more furniture and artworks in the near future. The terrace will also be a great expansive place to chill once it is properly dressed up. In front of the hotel is an information booth / consultation center where all your travel (tours, transportation, etc.) needs are tended to. To accommodate my request for a quiet accommodation, Nika gave me a larger room which was beautiful, airy, and super comfortable, with a spotless bathroom. There were a couple of crisp dressing gowns in the cupboard and two pairs of soft slippers for the room. Bottled drinking water (2, to be exact) can be found in the mini fridge every day. Nika is a pleasant and courteous host who makes you feel welcome (and valued) the minute you enter the premises. My check-in was competed in an efficient manner. There is a well of local knowledge which she is happy to share with you. n/a

• Simone (9/5): Really lovely hotel - We really enjoyed the spacious room and comfy bed. The property is just out of town which we liked. In a quiet area but a very short walk to restaurants. The owner can organise tours through the hotel. All the staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had an issue with the light and it was fixed straight away. We didn’t like the positioning of the shower head it would only aim at the wall and was difficult to wash long hair. The window didn’t fully close.

• Dave (9/5): A hidden gem. But very close to the main area. - Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Cheap price for a beer in a hotel. Nice to cool down around the pool. Breakfast started off quite poor but got better each day. The coffee needs improvement because it was tasteless and they only gave half a cup. The hot food on the buffet needs to be kept hot by some means and not just left to go cold. They have the equipment but had no burners under it.

They were very helpful, gave us a welcome drink and cold towels, cleaned the room everyday and helped us organise transport. The hotel location is great too, with only a 5 minute walk to the old market. The hotel is new so everything is in great condition. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable with a lovely hot shower and air conditioning. The pool was clean too and great to relax in, and the beer was very cheap! Definitely the best place we’ve stayed on our trip and we really recommend it!
• Mats (10/5): A fantastic stay in a great hotel! - The One By Nika The hotel is newly started and it is noticeable that Nika and her staff invests in standing out with good service and generosity to establish the hotel, and I am convinced that it will succeed very well. When we arrived at the hotel, Nika and the staff came and met us and greeted us with homemade ice tea, some snacks and cold small textile napkins. They helped us up to the room, where the AC was on, so it was cool and nice. And you know, those bed decorations that all hotels have in their advertising - here they were actually real… We really felt very welcome! The house has been used as a hotel in the past and many fine wooden doors, stairs and exterior have been preserved in a nice way. On the upper floors there are nice south-facing terraces shaded by tall trees between the house and the street. On the ground floor there is a cozy pool area (with some sunbeds, beach towels, tables and chairs), the hotel's restaurant (with good food and cheap beer), a fenced parking lot and the reception where you, among other things, can book excursions and laundry services. The hotel is well located with the major markets, Pub Street, the river and the city center within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is also well located for those who want to rent a scooter to get to Angkor Wat on their own. The breakfasts are nice and vary a little from day to day. Most often they are buffets with some prepared dish, bread, juice/ice tea, coffee/tea, jam, pancake and fresh fruit etc. as a basic offer. The breakfast is also suitable for vegetarians and Nika and the staff does what they can to accommodate special requests. We had booked 4 nights but changed our travel plans and extended our stay by another 3 nights. Last - but not least - there is daily cleaning and the hotel is very clean and fresh. Nika and everyone in the staff is so very friendly and nice and we really hope we get the chance to come back soon 😉🙏🏻 -
• Hannes (10/5): Very nice and clean - The hotel has very good location - just few minutes walk from the heart of city. Just opened, everything fresh and so clean. Nice rooms, lots of space. Very nice clean pool to cool down after day tours. Amazing staff - every single member of the staff was so friendly. Good English!

• Verified traveler (2/5): - 8月7日から友人と3泊しました。ホテルは、こじんまりとしていて、オールドマーケットにも近くて便利でした。フロントのスタッフも問題ありませんでした。しかしながら、こんなトラブルに見舞われました。 ①着替え用の服が突然なくなった。外に出しっぱなしにしていたのも悪いが・・ ②帰国日、友人がベッドの上にアイフォーンを置き忘れた。空港で気づいてホテルに電話して、フロントスタッフに探してもらうが、見つからなかった。 ③帰国後気づいたのだが・・・ レンタルしたwi-hiのバッテリーがなくなっていた。 一度も使うことなく、部屋の中に置きっ放しにして いたので、チェックアウトの時には、全然気づかなくて、後からレンタル会社に指摘されて、弁償した。 以上

• Emi (10/5): Clean and good location - Pay for what you get and a bit more,it was exactly what we needed. Not to far from the market about 5-10 min walk which I felt safe. We didn’t expect much just a clean bed and shower. The AC worked fine for us. Used the pool was nice no one was ever there. For hotel pick up there was a bit of confusion but they showed up eventually after getting a hold of them someone they showed up in 20 min. I would stay here again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Great little pool in a perfectly central location. Close to Pub Street with bars, restaurants, and shopping. Only about 30 min from airport and temples. The pool bar didnt have a bar tender, so we couldnt get mixed drinks, but refrigerated beer and soft drinks available. If you book through Expedia be careful. We were told that we would get free breakfast online, but our we didnt notice the receipt said we didnt. They were kind and gave us half off our breakfast. Rooms are confortable.

• Wolfgang (8/5): Nice to stay at but forget breakfast - A nice hotel with a family touch, though at times with a slightly helpless staff. Don't expect too much by way of breakfast. A good location, within a walk from a town centre.

The overall impression is the place is a bit stark, white walls and wooden doors, could do with a bit of colour. Perhaps some plants or painting in the corridors would give the place a lift. For the price it was alright.
