• Benoit (10/5): Détente dans un cadre magnifique dominant Villedieu les poêles - Le lieu en lui même. La vue, le calme, la chambre très spacieuse, l'espace détente SPA avec une grande piscine chauffée, sauna, hammam. La bonne surprise d'avoir été surclassé dans la plus grande suite. Seul bémol aucune indication sur Booking ne stipule le fait que les clés se récupèrent d'abord en centre ville avant de monter au domaine. Nous avons donc dû redescendre après avoir appelé l'hôte.
• Ludmilla (2/5): Da dimenticare - Nulla Segnaletica dell’indicazione della struttura mancante. La struttura, anche poco distante dal centro si trova in una posizione difficile di accesso (anche per gps) e non illuminata (se arrivate di notte il rischio di non trovare la struttura è molto alto). Arrivati nella struttura c’è nessuno (tutto elettronico). La stanza assegnata era sporchissima e maleodorante. Gli asciugamani erano macchiati di candeggina.

• Jennifer (9/5): Very Good but staff should tell you what to do regarding the pool. - Everything was excellent, room very tasteful and bathroom unusual with glass basins. Swimming pool lovely but see comment below. No one told me that in order to use the pool you have to tell the staff at the Hotel Le Fruitier in the town so that they can arrange to have the cover removed which meant that I missed out on some lovely swims. Only had 1 as someone else was already in the pool. The staff should tell clients what to do regarding booking the pool. The Jacuzzi bath in our bathroom looked enticing but having filled the bath with hot water and having got in, nothing worked and I rfound it very difficult to get out. A rubber mat would have helped. A bit disappointing but a lovely place otherwise.

• Sinead (4/5): Awful… - The pool.. Upon arrival at our destination .. we were told via intercom that we had to go back down into the town 5 mins drive to another hotel to check in and collect key.. then drive up a very steep hill to go to our room…the room was fine and the pool good after a very hot day travelling.. our air con didn’t work and we didn’t no who to report this to. There was no reception here.. so did you have to travel back into town to the other hotel to complain?.. breakfast two options you can have a tray delivered to your room or drive down the hill to the other hotel.. which is not even worth it.. if your like coffee n croissants you’ll be fine.. after breakfast we are back up the hill to check out.. there is no restaurant & no bar here.. very badly organised.. will never return..
• Anthony (8/5): It worked well. The staff were really helpful and the continental breakfast was generous. All in all it did what we hope - We stayed overnight after getting the ferry to Cherbourg. Next day we travelled to Ill de Re. It was a good stop over point and comfortable for one evening :) The decor was a bit dated, but maybe it was a taste thing? It was followed through very well. The electric/remote control system was a bit complicated, but the instructions were very clear.
• Aine (4/5): Disappointing - The decor was vibrant and grounds pretty. While the description says this is a hotel it is a B&B. There is no restaurant or bar on the premises. All facilities are located in a hotel 500m away. We did go down to the restaurant to eat but were ignored by staff for over 45 mins despite using the call button as indicated on the table. Our room smelt of wet dog. The hotel did confirm a dog had been in the room a week prior. We had no robes/slippers or towels for the pool in our room.

• Andrew (7/5): Attractive room in a good setting but let down by overly complex tech. - The setting and appearance of the hotel annexe and room was very good. There was an indoor swimming pool but we didn’t check it out. The breakfast delivered to our room was a nice option. Although the room looked very stylish it was let down by its overly complex tech which didn’t have any operating instructions. We couldn’t set or operate the air conditioning. Even operating the lights was fiddly. The Wi-Fi was dreadfully slow and we gave up trying to use it. The delivered breakfast was good but was let down by details such as only one knife between two of us and no bowl for the cereal/fruit.
• Melissa (4/5): Grosse déception - Nous attendions ce séjour depuis longtemps, un super accueil nous a été fait. Mais après c'était beaucoup moins bien, un salle de bain avec la paroie de baignoire qui tombe, des joints noir, des peignoirs qui ont déjà bien vécu et rêche... Un système balneo qui ne fonctionnait pas... Aller on va se rattraper dans l'espace bien être... Ça continue, une piscine froide, trois pauvres appareil de sport dans un état miteux.... Un petit déjeuner à 17€ par personne avec charcuterie et fromage : obliger de contacter l'accueil pour avoir un café, avoir plus de pain (du à la charcuterie qui sort du super marché du coin même pas du traiteur) Je fais par de tout ceci à l'accueil qui s'en excuse mais aucun geste commerçant ne m'a été proposé... Vraiment déçu...

• Attila (9/5): Very nice experience - Amazing house and garden. We were early birds, so we had the entire house for us for a couple of hours and we enjoyed the empty spa during this time. There are so many little surprising things, like an elevator, although the house has only one upper floor and only a few rooms, or the fact that you get your breakfast automatically to your room, but I don't want to spoil it. The room interieur was a bit strange. It had a little bit of a brothel feeling, none the less it was very new, clean and luxurious. Big green space around the house for the dog.

• ivanha (10/5): Merci pour ce superbe sejour - Nous sommes arrivés à 16h tous nous a été expliqué de façon claire et de façons souriante. On nous a demandé pour le petit déjeuner ce que nous souhaitions comme boissons chaudes ainsi que l heure a laquelle nous voulions le recevoir. Nous étions dans la suite sérénité du sud. Elle est juste sublime et très repausante. Son nom lui convient parfaitement. De plus l espace bien être est vraiment appréciable tout y est pensé pour que l on puisse s y détendre.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Bof - L'accueil est a 2 kms environ des chambres les finitions des chambres sont loin d etre terminées la telecommande de la TV ne marche pas la wifi est tres tres faible les tablettes en verre des 2 côtés du lit ont certainement été nettoyées , mais il y a très longtemps le bas de "l hotel" est habité semble t il par des residents permanents et des enfants qui braillent En résumé un nom bien pompeux, mais une prestation pas à la hauteur qui n'a rien à voir avec le nom trop cher pour ce que c'est
