- Chester (7/5): Great place to stay to visit the sights! - Our room was really clean, the staff was accommodating and pleasant, and the breakfast was great! The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, the shower faucet was hard to turn, and we could have used another chair in the room. The toilet plugged, but the head housekeeper unplugged it for us. It just seemed like they needed more maintenance help. Oh, the rug in the breakfast area was coming loose.

All the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfy. The fitness room was having malfunctions with the key, but when mentioned to the front desk, they helped us get in very quickly.

I was visiting Oberlin and it was on 20 min away and I believe 10min from down town Cleveland as well as right off of the highway. It was a great accommodation.

The broken tv remote the old tv that didn’t have anything good the only real reason we came was the pool and it was closed yeah I’m not going there ever again.

The driver was a true gentleman with a quick smile and helpful hand. He gave your hotel an exemplary first impression. Additionally, all staff were very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Enjoyed it very much. I cant think of anything that needs improvement. We were two sisters traveling together, and we were very comfortable there.

- Marc (8/5): A little loud for my liking. - When choosing where to stay, I asked to see rooms at a few of the surrounding properties before committing. The lower priced ones were definitely lower for a reason. This property I still think was a bit higher priced than it should have been however there were many amenities that they offered that I did not use so I guess I understand the price. My only complaint about the property was that I could hear plenty of other patrons. Some having “fun” in their room. Lots walking and talking in the hallway throughout the night.

- Richard (8/5): - The property was in need of some remodeling and replacement of plumbing and other necessary elements. Our bath room sink could not drain one morning because the stopper could not be moved from the closed position. It was fixed promptly. The heater ran either hot or closer and one day I could not turn it off.
- rayderpower (4/5): Disappointing - This place is in need of a change in management. It needs not only a renovation but a restart on the services and amenities provided. Standard room is “old school” lacking premium bedding with an uncomfortable and almost useless chaise lounge. Older small screen tv. No microwave. Lame 1 cup coffee maker. Breakfast area…. Very weak. I think many travelers will agree that coffee and orange juice are staples for breakfast, right? No OJ. Not even “orange drink” …. Just other watery options. Want coffee? Nope! Coffee machine was on the fritz. So, a manager would normally step up with another solution, right? Box of coffee from Dunkin’ perhaps? Nope.

This is a great hotel and I can see why they get such great reviews. I’m very impressed with the customer care. Really helpful, attentive and fast responding staff.

Even dealing with some breakdowns they were patient, listened and took quick action to make sure guests were cared for. The breakfast was also great - better than other hotels I have stayed in. All around impressed with this property. It’s no wonder their reviews are so good.

- Kristen (6/5): - Honesty, I'm not sure why this hotel was such given such a wonderful review. The staff were not very nice nor helpful. The rooms are dirty marks all over the wall, The bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. The room smelled and meldew The bed was okay but felt damp. The pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was just okay. Honestly it was really expensive. I stayed in nicer hotels for less money. The area is nice, they do have options for restaurants and a nearby Walmart and Target.
