• Mariacarla (10/5): - My stay here was very peaceful. I'm very glad I opted for breakfast and dinner too as I really enjoyed my meals. Relaxing in the onsen in the evening was also a highlight. The facilities were shared but this was never a problem as everything was clean and I never had to wait. The staff were extremely attentive and when I wrote to them a few days later explaining that I had a left one of my shirts in my room they went out if their way to help me solve the problem. I would fully recommend! Not a negative at all, but just bear in mind the hotel is slightly out of town - easily reachable though by bus or a rather lovely stroll down the hill through a residential neighbourhood. I actually quite enjoyed being a little away from the centre.

O onsen é relaxante, os atendentes muito prestativos e o jantar, reservado à parte, uma delícia. Pegamos um pouco de chuva e eles fornecem guarda-chuvas para uso. É realmente um pouco afastado da região central, mas só foi incômodo com as malas. Infelizmente alguns hóspedes atrapalham com bagunça, mas o hotel não pode fazer muita coisa em relação a eles.

Lontano dalla stazione che è raggiungibile con una camminata di mezz'ora ooppure con una corsa di circa 7-8€ in taxi, gli autobus hanno orari scomodi per chi parte presto o arriva tardi all'hotel. Possibilità di navetta gratuita per la stazione, ma in fasce orarie dedicate.

• Goda (10/5): Local experience with fantastic onsen - Friendly staff, big building (proper hotel style), lovely traditional room, amazing traditional breakfast. Yukatas and dressing for onsen was provided and the onsen was perfect. In the evening I was the only person there, so it was amazing experiene. Absolutely fantastic local atmosphere in hotel. Location is far from the city, so you need to arrange taxi or something to commute more easily. We used bus, but it runs once an hour.

The location walking distance to Hida no sato, like other reviewers have mentioned was a plus. Desk staff and cleaning staff were very friendly. The room we had was far too cramped for four people. When we first came in, there was 2 futon mattresses covering the floor (in addition to two twin beds), leaving nowhere to even walk. We moved our daughter's futon to the closet, which she actually enjoyed and then we turned the beds and moved the other futon to create a walkway for ourselves. Pillows were not comfortable and mattresses on the beds had bed springs pushing up. We made it work but it was less than ideal.

• Marika (9/5): Une expérience authentique et agréable! - Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. La chambre était spacieuse, magnifique et très confortable. La salle de bain privée, séparée de l’espace de couchage, est un vrai atout : cela nous a permis d’y placer nos bagages sans encombrer la chambre. Le onsen est également un excellent ajout, parfait pour se détendre après une journée bien remplie. Nous avons essayé le repas traditionnel, tant pour le souper que pour le déjeuner, et avons beaucoup apprécié l’expérience, autant pour la qualité que pour l’authenticité. C’était notre première expérience dans un ryokan, et nous en gardons un très beau souvenir. Nous recommandons vivement ! Le ryokan est situé un peu à l’écart du centre touristique de Takayama, ce qui rend les déplacements à pied moins pratiques. Heureusement, nous avions une voiture, ce qui a grandement facilité nos déplacements. Un espace commun pour l'eau chaude est mis à disposition, ce qui est très apprécié. Toutefois, celui-ci est limité à la confection du thé. Bien qu’un réfrigérateur soit disponible dans la chambre, l’ajout d’un micro-ondes et de quelques éléments de vaisselle dans la cuisine commune serait un plus pour améliorer l’expérience.

• Eulalia (10/5): Bellissimo e accogliente - Bellissimo hotel con onsen appena fuori dal centro di Takayama (ma comunque raggiungibile a due passi), e vicinissimo al bellissimo villaggio di Hida no Sato. Atmosfera calma, famigliare, accogliente e confortevole. Rilassarsi nel proprio futon con la neve che scende fuori dalla finestra è impagabile, cosi come farsi il bagno nella vasca termale dopo una giornata di escursioni e passeggiate fuori al freddo. La permanenza più bella e piacevole del mio soggiorno in Giappone, consiglio a tutti di andarci.

The breakfast was AMAZING, you should try it if you want the Japanese breakfast style experience. Not a surprise but the location is a bit far away from the center, that wouldn't be a problem unless, like us, you travel with a baby stroller in winter and by public transport, which in our case meant pushing the stroller uphill in the middle of the snow because the majority of buses in this direction didn't have accessibility systems, you can still try to fit in, with baggage and folding the stroller, but it was complicated for us in a full bus.

• Higashi (8/5): ポット以外は最高。特に夕食！ - 駅から多少離れているため、徒歩や旅行中の移動がバスなどの方は多少不便ですが、レンタカー等車がある場合は大変利便が良いです。ただ、駅周辺の繁華街まで徒歩30分圏内でタクシーなど使えば大した距離ではないので、人によっては値段も考えていいかと思います。 基本は料理も美味しいし、お風呂も内湯等もあり良かったのですが、無料貸し出しのポットが多少汚かったのがデメリット。しかし、接客や冒頭にも話した料理が最高に良かったので、是非夕食付きで！

• Uzcategui (9/5): Excelente relación precio - calidad 🤩 - El hotel está ubicado en una subida pavimentada, de mediana - baja intensidad. Se puede llegar fácilmente caminando unos 6 min desde la carretera principal. Zona muy silenciosa. Pudimos subir con tres maletas de ruedas sin ninguna complicación, ni daño. Nos hospedamos en una habitación que está diseñada para max. 3, pero cómodamente para 4. Habitación bonita, tradicional, confortable, y con hermosa vista a las montañas desde el ventanal. Excelente calefacción y ropa de cama abrigadora. Re-cambio de pijamas y de artículos de aseo diariamente. Baños y lavatorios compartidos, separados damas / caballeros, súper limpios. Onsen relajante, con jabón, shampoo, acondicionador, y cremas hidratantes sin pagar adicional. Transporte público que sale desde el Centro de Buses de Takayama, y que te deja a solo 6 min caminando del hotel (recorrido ida - vuelta a horas puntuales, revisar Google maps). Personal amigable, nos entendimos con traductor de Google. ¡Hazte un favor y quédate en este Hotel! Amablemente nos calentaban la comida y algunas meriendas en el microondas interno del restaurante del hotel (Debíamos pedir el favor todos los dias). Sin embargo, sentimos que hace falta un microondas de acceso rápido y directo para los huéspedes, en el piso de las habitaciones, en el espacio compartido que tienen dispuesto tipo cocineta. Solo eso.
• Benjamin (6/5): Goed verblijf maar voor het eten geen aanrader. - Bushalte dichtbij, vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamers. Het eten was qua prijs/kwaliteit niet echt wat we hadden verwacht. Was eigenlijk zeer duur voor de kwaliteit en kwantiteit die we kregen. Was praktisch ook altijd hetzelfde.

• Chen (5/5): Disappointing - - The beds were comfortable. - Various Takayama point of interests nearby - Lots of hair and a used toothbrush already in the suite when we checked-in - We could constantly smell diesel in our suite - There was an instance when a staff member threw slippers from the second floor into the lobby below, out of laziness, but it was right when we entered after a morning stroll - No hot water kettle - Tea set in the room had no more matcha
• Iacopo (10/5): - Tutto. La posizione lontana dal casino del centro, a due passi dal villaggio tipico Hida no Sato, nella natura. 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Ben collegata dal bus. Accoglienza del personale. Onsen carino e sempre disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo super. Colazione e cena fantastiche. Niente
