• Agripino (1/5): Not good. - The air conditioning unit struggled to keep the room cool. Thermostat showed 26 degrees. The a/c tech said this was normal since the sensor was near the room door. I also did not receive reimbursement for the 1000 pesos deposit. I called and sent messages and email but no response.
• James (10/5): Very nice clean rooms in a great location. - My wife and I have stayed here many times in the past year and a half. We love the location and it's always a nice and clean room with friendly staff. If you're a foreigner, like myself, and you're used to rooms with a bit more space, these are a little tight. Mainly around the bed. But it's fairly common here. The price is very fair here on Booking.com. If you would like a really nice place with more space, Seda Residences is like 2 blocks away. But you'll pay 3-4 times the price there. The Mini Suites are a great value in that regard. The only 2 things we don't like are that the rooms are not quiet when it comes to your neighbors. You can hear people in the rooms next to you even when they aren't being loud. And if they are loud? Well I've had to let neighbors know a couple times that they were loud by. The second thing is that the water in the showers tends to fluctuate between hot/warm and cold/cool no matter what setting you put it on or what room you're in. With the exception of 1 room that I can think of. Only 1 room so far didn't have this issue.

• Nadine (8/5): Für einen kurzen Stop in Manila wirklich gut. - Saubere Zimmer. Das Bett war bequem. Ich habe mich bewusst für das größere Zimmer entschieden, da ich gelesen hatte dass die kleinen Zimmer doch wirklich „mini“ seien. Die Lage ist top. Sehr sauber, vieles fußläufig erreichbar und vor allem habe ich mich in der Umgebung als allein reisende Frau sehr sicher gefühlt. Das Personal war höflich. Das Zimmer roch leicht modrig. Das ist jedoch in Asien häufiger der Fall. Ich hatte das Zimmer zu einem reduzierten Preis erhalten, weil ich relativ kurzfristig gebucht habe. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zum vollen Preis hätte ich jedoch nicht ausgewogen empfunden.

The shower and toilet are separated from the bedroom by glass doors with sizeable gaps on top, leading to having no sound isolation. Together with multiple mirrors around the room, this leads to having no privacy at all. The AC was blasting right at the bed, regardless of the temperature or power setting. At the end, needed to shut it down to sleep comfortably, even if it got too warm.

• Christopher (1/5): Total scam, miscommunication from staff. Avoid. - Good location Totally scammed. My last 2 days in Manila I wanted to stay by a pool. As soon as I booked I got a message telling me the pool is closed all day Monday. So I asked if they can refund so I can stay elsewhere. They ignored my messages, emails and phone calls all day. Eventually I got hold of someone the evening of check in. They said a refund would take 8 days to process. I said that's fine. They said they'll get back to me and never did. I was traveling and arriving at 4am, so my friend called them and they told her they can't refund. Again, no response to my emails, messages and didn't call me back. I thought okay, at least I can use the pool on my last day. I confirmed with reception that I can leave my bags somewhere after check out and use the pool for the day. He said "yes that's absolutely fine". I then checked out of the room, asked reception how I can get to the pool without the key and she said now I've checked out I can't use the pool. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience of misinformation from staff, terrible communication and completely ruined my final 2 days in Manila. What is the point in paying more money for pool access when you can't even use it? Also the gym sucks.

She accommodated me and navigated me through the booking challenges I encountered (not related to the hotel, but a third-party booking company). The room was clean and everything worked. The hotel location was ideal. Laundry service was exceptional and very helpful meeting our timely needs. The walls between suites are thin. I can hear conversations and noise from both neighbors.

I love it that they understand the needs of their guests. As for the room itself, I love it. I had everything I needed. Thank you for a lovely stay... Just a little thing. Perhaps try to double check the condition of the amenities in the room. The TV remote control was broken and not working.

But what stands out are the hotel staff their hospitality and willingness to assist g - The location is great, walking distance to the center of the city, public transportation is easy to access, restaurants just around the corner. The rooms are tiny and the sound barrier is not great you can hear the next room people normal conversation.
