• BarnackSteph (6/5): Large, clean hotel with great pools and next to the beach. - Secure, clean hotel with friendly staff. Got an amazing deal through Voyage Prive so we took the opportunity to get away from the relentless rain in the UK! Food average and the hot food was often luke warm due to the buffet style restaurant. The spa is a separate entity where there is a small indoor pool. Don't expect a top class massage, they don't compare to a good UK one and it's all a bit rushed at the end. I didn't think my two massages were really worth the money - the Ayurvedic one was just a usual massage. Nothing mind, body, spirit about it at all. Top tip if you like a comfortable pillow - take your own.
• Hester653 (10/5): Amazing Hotel and Staff - We had a brilliant 2 week stay at The Tui Blue Palm Beach Palace, Djerba. Our second time at this amazing hotel. We loved every minute of our stay there, one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff are the best. Tui Blue Guides, Iheb and Nourhen are always there on hand to help, with anything you want to know about the hotel and give you a tour of it when you arrive. They can also give you plenty of ideas of where to visit on Djerba island, there are so many interesting places to see, 2 weeks just wasn’t enough. Farouk on reception is also very helpful giving information and how to book taxes to take you where you want to go. Najeme and the other chefs in the bakery make everything all in front of you, everything is hot and fresh. From Croissants, cakes, pastries so many different breads and pizzas. All the chefs work very hard at the cooking stations, steak, sword fish, tuna, salmon, prawns to name but a few of the excellent dishes served to perfection. The waiters are all very helpful too, bringing water, drinks and wine to your table, Salim and all the other waiters to many to mention but all of them are brilliant. The bar staff in the Lobby and by the pool are all very friendly they bring you drinks to you, and make the most amazing cocktails. The Animation Team are all so much fun, they get everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves. Moktar head of animation did a great job organising all the party nights which were fantastic and lovely decorations were put up. Dhekra who did the fitness classes, ( which we never went to ) was also very friendly and chatted to us a lot. The room cleaners were brilliant too. We always went back to a lovely clean and fresh smelling room. The sunbeds were cleaned every morning, everywhere is spotless. The photographer also very nice and does lovely photo shoots The Manager is always on hand, very friendly and chats to the guests. So many people who I have probably forgotten to mention. You all do a fantastic job in this beautiful hotel Thank you everyone, for looking after us so well, we will definitely return
• richardkH7832GZ (10/5): Great first trip - What a fantastic trip we had to Djerba. Our first visit and the hotel and staff especially Dhekra who kept us busy with yoga classes. My wife has found a permanent friend as it was so easy to get along with Dhekra and all the other staff. Genuinely enjoyed spending time with us as she was picking up more English language.
• H5996GUcaroln (10/5): Djerba Delight - We were looking for somewhere different and saw this hotel on the TUI website. After a bit of research we decided to book for 11 nights. On arrival we had some paperwork to fill in first before we were shown our room. The room didn't disappoint. It's very spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden and quiet pool area. The balcony of our room was north facing so it didn't get any sun on it but that wasn't a problem. The hotel is on the beach front and the is lovely soft white sand. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are friendly. The majority of the guests during our stay were French with only 6 more British tourists in the hotel. The food was of a high quality with plenty to choose from and the desserts were delicious. We took part in several activities organised by the animation team and we had great fun on all of them. The animation team are friendly and enthusiastic about their work, they really made our stay. The evening entertainment was good especially the Blue party where there were people dressed in LED light costumes, one on stilts, both entertaining the guests There is music every night. All of the staff we encountered were multi lingual so communication wasn't a problem. The hotel is suitable for all adult age ranges, there's something for young and old to do. Would we stay here again? That's a definite yes. We couldn't fault anything about the hotel

We arrived late and still got to experience the rich dinner buffet and breakfast this morning was just all you can wish for. The hotel is inviting, very clean and people are very attentive and friendly. The location is fantastic, the beach is stretching wide and we still have to try out the sea. Swimming pools are beautiful, with mature palm trees in the garden. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Special thanks to Messaoud who has been introducing and welcoming us to this beautiful place.

• tonijF6187XW (6/5): Still a little gem but slightly lost its sparkle - Second visit to TUI Blu and still a nice and not so British touristy place, mainly frequented by French and German guests. With that in mind the staff do tend to focus their attention on guests from those countries and this can be frustrating at times when the bar waiter staff seem to serve every other table. Try not to be offended by this as I suspect it’s due to us Brits being less likely to speak up and request table service, and/or French and German being the languages the staff are more confident with. I would say last year there were a lot more staff excited to try their English though and so were more attentive and friendly. The Flamingo afternoon snack restaurant and Pool Bar staff are all lovely though. I didn’t catch all their names but I think Sabri is the lovely guy with glasses and hat who always smiles and serves drinks around the pool. Waldi and Jokhtar (I think are their names) who worked in the Flamingo restaurant were also really attentive, smiling, joking and making sure my husband got the bigger beer glass! I also had a lovely chat to the chef at the BBQ meal too. The tall man who works at the reception is also worth noting as he remembered me from the previous year and always asked if everything was ok for us. The lovely photographer also remembered we never wanted our pictures taken from the previous year but was always so pleasant greetings us with a smile in the evening. Now the negatives: I respect that bikinis and swim shorts can’t be worn at the main bar but got a very snotty response from one of the bar staff when I requested a coffee on my way back from the gym when he brought the sign right up to me. I was wearing a gym top and shorts! I think this was stretching the rules a bit as I was intending to just take the coffees back to the room. Needless to say I didn’t go back the next day, even though this hadn’t been a problem I had faced on days prior to this. A few reviews seem to praise the entrainment, in particular Mohamed. This was not my experience. I didn’t find he was respectful of me being there with my husband, to the point I was quite uncomfortable. The entertainment team overall was less present and engaging, seeming to just dance once people were already up. During the day they seemed to just go directly to scheduled activities without speaking to guests. This is a shame as last year Rico/Rabie was out all day and evening talking to guests of all nationalities, always with energy, a smile and was very respectful. The hotel is also starting to look a little tired. There was a light on the steps hanging out with wires for a couple of days. The drains in the bathroom gurgled and took ages for water to go down in the room. The toilet near the pool was blocked and flooded for a couple of days. Most worryingly there was an electrical fault leading to smoke on the first and second floor near our rooms but staff didn’t seem to have a plan for informing people about this and just kept saying don’t worry it’s no problem. No smoke alarms went off either. I’ve been to hotels where managers walk around all day long checking everything was in place, but this didn’t seem to happen here.

We really enjoyed our game of petanque with our new french friends and particularly Nassim and Dally made our experience really special. Even the cleaners did some little extra touches to make it special. The beach and pools are great with bars at both.. The all inclusive is one of the best we have had, we don't usually go all inclusive because we are generally disappointed. All the hotel is lovely, clean and well maintained. The staff are all extremely friendly! We wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this hotel

There are many facilities, location is great, and the private beach is very calm with a beautiful clear water. The food is great, and they offer quite a few vegetarian options. There's so much animation all day, from different sports (yoga, pilates, beach volley, hiit classes) to evenings events such as themed parties. Thanks to Nassim and Mohammed for the amazing entertainment and making the party happen every night! Would definitely stay again as this was great value for money.

• 680vikkit (4/5): Avoid - I am still at the hotel. This is my second night of 3. I came to relax after an incredibly tough few months due to family illness. I like to rest & go to bed early. Last night the music & fireworks were so loud I could hear every word. I called reception and was assured it would be turned down. I also emailed the customer information email. The noise finally stopped at close to midnight. I went to reception this morning & was told to go back at 11am.. they would move me somewhere quieter. I was then told come back at 12pm. When I returned I was told I am in the quietest part of the hotel & nobody has ever complained before. I was then told they thought it was the hotel next door so no point in moving. It’s now 11pm & my 3 night break is 2 nights of little sleep. Disappointed and disillusioned. The nice pool, food and service count for nothing when I’m going home more tired than when I arrived.

The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully located right by the beach. The rooms were comfortable, with good air conditioning, daily cleaning, and nice views depending on your location. The food at the buffet was varied and fresh — plenty of choices for all tastes, including vegetarian and Tunisian specialties. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was large with lots of sunbeds, and the beach was just a short walk away with clear water. The lifeguards and beach staff were always present and kept everything safe and tidy. Reception and hotel service were also top quality — check-in was smooth, and any small issues were handled quickly. This is a great place for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking for a mix of relaxation and activities. The Animation Team went above and beyond to keep the vibe fun, energetic, and full of life throughout our stay. Especially Nassim and Mohammed kept up the good vibes and invited us to dance. We would highly reccomend this accomidation and will definitely come back!

Chambre avec clim qui fuit, fenêtre qui ne se ferme pas chasse d’eau d’affectueuse et fuit dans la salle de bain. Balcon renferme humide. Impossible de faire sécher les maillot de bain. La plus part du personnel dégouté d’être en service, désagréable et ne comprend rien au français. On vous dit oui oui on va venir réparer inshalah … ce n’est pas Dieu qui décide mais leur humeur … Très dessus qu’au bout de la 4 eme recalamation nous avons eu un technicien qui n’a pas su réparer la client et a mis une vice pour fermer la fenêtre. Pas de possibilité de l’ouvrir après ça pour aéré leur…. Bref une cata. Ce n’est pas un 5 étoiles, loin de là.

We stayed in a ground floor room DZX 1 with a terrace facing a quiet pool just a few meters away – the perfect spot to relax during the day in a truly chillout atmosphere. The all inclusive formula fully met our expectations: delicious and varied meals, an à la carte restaurants, and bars conveniently located around the hotel. In the evenings, we enjoyed a rich entertainment program – live concerts, shows, dance parties, and even an open-air cinema. A big highlight was the BLUEf!t® sports activities, with special thanks to the trainers Arroussia and Daly for their energy and professionalism. We would also like to warmly thank the entire hotel staff – bartenders, chefs, restaurant service, housekeeping, reception, and even the porter – for their kindness, smiles, and professionalism, which made us feel truly special from the very first to the very last moment of our stay. This hotel combines high standards, a beautiful setting, and a fantastic atmosphere – we wholeheartedly recommend it!

People staying at the hotel informed the staff of a sick dog with puppies struggling in the heat and asked them to help to look after the dogs. The hotel wouldn’t let a vet come in to look at the dogs and they harassed people for trying to help them. They then poisoned the mother dog and left the puppies to die in the heat. Apparently they’ve now announced they have a cat shelter in the hotel, what convenient timing after you just poisoned a dog for simply existing.

• Marina (6/5): Tem muito para melhorar - A estrutura do hotel é boa, localizacao tambem, os funcionarios no geral sao bem simpaticos e educados, porem no ultimo dia de hospedagem ( checkout as 12h), o pessoal da limpeza simplesmente entrou no quarto az 8h da manha, sem bater na porta e perguntou que horas a gente ia embora, bastante hostil e inadequada a postura. Alem disso o hotel peca na limpeza, quarto com cheiro insuportavel de mofo, quase morri de alergia, nao consegui dormi nenhuma noite por esse problema. A comida é mediana, destaque positivo para a sessao de folheados feitos na hora, e muito gostosos. A bebida é pessima, so da pra aproveitar a agua e a agua com gas, nao tomo refrigerantes entao nao sei falar a respeito, mas os vinhos, os drinks e a cerveja sao intomaveis, pessimos. No geral o hotel tem muito o que melhorar. O espaco de laser bem mediano tambem, a sauna cobrado um valor alto, enfim comparando com os concorrentes que frequentamos saiu devendo bastante.

• 710SusanS710 (10/5): Wonderful stay in this lovely hotel - I spent a week in this beautiful hotel with my partner and it is one of the best I’ve stayed in. The basic rooms feel very luxurious as they’re spacious with two wardrobes, separate toilet and bathroom (with two sinks and a bath!), sofa and chaise longue and plenty of desk space. The large bed and pillows are comfortable so sleeping was easy. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming atmosphere and wasn’t too busy at any time (the hotel was around half full when we stayed). The food is varied and tasty and there is lots of local food available as well as pasta and pizza. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful at all time. A lot of them don’t speak much English as the hotel mainly has French, German and Dutch guests but this was not an issue even for my partner who only speaks English. If booking through TUI I would recommend going to the welcome meeting as you may meet other English guests there. We got lucky as there was another English couple who arrived on the same flight and we managed to arrange an excursion together and it wouldn’t have been possible otherwise due to the minimum people required. You can also ask any questions you need and our rep Rahim was brilliant in assisting us. There are quite a few cats and kittens around the hotel that seem to be looked after well but you won’t see them much unless you look for them or sit outside. Only one orange tabby seemed to ever come inside the reception area. Two of the kittens are blind so if you like to feed them do look out for them as they struggle to see the food. The gym is nice and spacious but gets very hot quickly so best used in the morning. There are a few basic machines (treadmill, bike, cross trainer) and a lot of weights. There were no real negatives on this holiday but I’ll mention one or two things to look out for just in case they help anyone. I like to drink tea at breakfast but I did find the heated water available for tea in the restaurant undrinkable (it tasted like the tap water that you can’t drink). There is hot water machine available in the inside bar area and this tastes much nicer. Also, be aware that the room services (cleaning, mini bar refilling and towel exchange) are all separate so if you stay in the room a bit during the day expect knocks at morning, afternoon and evening. Therefore you need to put the do not disturb sign on the door if you’re getting changed/ in the bath etc as they do knock and then walk straight in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope I have the chance to stay here again.
• IMBX (6/5): Somewhat lacking for a five star hotel - A decent hotel in a nice location let down by “grey” threadbare bed linen and towels both of which could do with replacing as they feel very grubby. The food is generally pretty good with plenty of variation. Another gripe is the number of miserable, unpleasant male bar staff who pretend they don’t understand, even when speaking to them in French. There is one older male barman in the blue flamingo bar who is extremely unpleasant and bordering on aggressive. Finally, the wifi is really not good enough. It was very poor in our room and almost non existent around the second pool.
• 912roses (10/5): A must visit hotel experience - Arrival: Arrival at the hotel was very well organised and we really appreciated the small touches of a hot towel and welcome drink on arrival. Accommodation: Amazing! Very spacious rooms with a beautiful interior. We were provided with bath robes and slippers, as well as the mini-fridge was fully stocked. Hotel: Fantastic location, next to the beach with great facilities. The hotel is kept to a high standard. There was a wide range of freshly prepared food available at all times. Excursions: We visited the local Explore park which was nearby, as well as an organised tour by TUI to go to the desert and visit Berber villages. Staff: Staff speak several languages and are all very kind and helpful, as well as hard-working. Samir was always around to talk to us about available activities and trips on the island. His enthusiasm and knowledge were very much appreciated and made us feel welcome all the time.

Wafa, from Guest Services, was very helpful and attentive during our stay. There are a variety of different activities to get involved with, all bookable via the app, so there's no-one walking about disturbing you to take part. A standout member of the team was Aymen, the BLUEf!t instructor.  He made the sessions fun but was very professional, would tweak activities to your ability and genuinely was very interested in helping people.  He really is an amazing person.  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in his classes.  Tui Blue... keep hold of him, he is a great ambassador for your company!

Les plats ont été variés et il existe un choix différent tous les jours avec un effort de plaire au plus grand nombre. Nous aurions aimé un peu plus de présentation de la cuisine tunisienne mais tous les jours on pouvait en trouver quelques plats. Mention spéciale pour le spa, qui a une offre riche et personnalisé avec des personnes très dévouées, multilingues, et des installation là aussi propres et bien entretenues. En somme nous avons trouvé que le rapport qualité prix a été excellent et nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

• Brian (2/5): Worst experience at this price point. Do not stay - We chose this over the Raddison Blu which had similar ratings and price point. We booked for five nights, but cancelled after the first night and moved to the Raddison Blu. Why? This hotel bills itself as 5 star, but it is anything but. The rating is from 2005. The beach facilities and pool are beautiful, but the service is rude and combative, and "all-inclusive" is anything but. Meals are available in the dining room and beer and wine are available. - We had two Tunisians in a large group of foreigners in D'Jerba for a wedding. One of the dining room staff got in a verbal altercation with one of the Tunisians because a group of four pushed two tables together for dinner (see picture). The rest of our group pushed five tables together with no issue. We went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager who refused to speak with us. - It was a normal hot summer day and the air conditioning was not sufficient to cool either the hotel or the rooms. At 10:30PM, our room was over 85F/29F. We called the front desk and the A/C technician came two hours later. He charged the system with A/C and we woke up to a huge puddle of water on the floor. - The wine is the cheapest Tunisian wine available and is pretty terrible. You can order better Tunisian wines, but they charge per bottle twice what you can buy for in the local market. If you are in a group, they will not serve a bottle. The dining room does not have enough water or coffee cups. AM Wait staff rude

• Jean-Christophe (8/5): Un hôtel presque 5* - Le service et l'accueil sont irréprochable et le cadre de l'hôtel très agréable. La plage est nettoyé tous les jours. Les chambres sont agréables et bien décorées et le service parfait, dommage que l'insonorisation laisse à désirer entre les chambres et qu'il manque une porte pour isoler la zone nuit du couloir. le gros point noir est la qualité de la restauration. Si indéniablement l'équipe de cuisine se donne de la peine pour la préparation des plats, la qualité des produits de base laisse grandement à désirer. les vins et les alcools compris dans le "all-inclusive" sont imbuvables. Dommage pour un 5*
