Guest Reviews
- Fernando Amorim (8/5): Location, spaciousness and very clean - - Apartment 2 bedroom very spacious
- Super clean 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
- Excellent location
- Very quite at night
- Easy and very safe parking - Very noisy queen bed
- Ground floor with a balcony unavailable because swimming pool construction and also no view 😔
- Gu (1/5): - We traveled as a group of five, including both elderly family members and a child. The hotel initially assigned us a ground-floor room, and when we requested a change, the front desk informed us that the hotel was fully booked. However, during our stay it was clear that many rooms upstairs were actually unoccupied.
Another major disappointment was the lack of complimentary Wi-Fi, which is something we now expect as a basic service in most hotels.
Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations, especially considering the needs of a family group.
- Matthieu (10/5): -
- John (6/5): - Place is great. Having to spend $70 on wifi was ridiculous. None of our party pot four will ever return. Its cheap and annoying
- iglesias (10/5): -
- JessW31 (9/5): -
- Nicolas (8/5): - The bed was a little firm. We used the murphy bed in the living room instead of the primary bedroom.
- Behnaz (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): Perfect for a family or group! - The new renovations are outstanding and we were very happy. The beds were comfy, the murphy bed in the living room was great - so much better than a sofa bed and they have a helpful lost and found service for anyone who forgets something! Even had a dishwasher and in-suite laundry! We seemed unable to control the heat from the unit and we were too warm. We kept the patio doors open. Also a wind storm blew through and whistles through our door all evening. We were unable to stop it despite trying to block the leaks in the weather stripping. The storm finally died down around 1am but we needed our hoise cancelling headphones until then to sleep through it.
- Ana (10/5): Excepcional - La ubicación, la limpieza y la comodidad del alojamiento. No le faltaba ni un detalle. El sofá era un poco incómodo.
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Tsai ling (10/5): -
- Roland (10/5): - Very nice unit, with lots of room The kitchen facilities were very confusing
- Bernadette (8/5): Fabulous location with great views to waterfront and short stroll into main shopping area. - Clean and great location. Loved the free videos, popcorn and hot chocolate. Some staff could have been more helpful without being prompted. No free wifi. Very small for a family group of 6.
- Jessica (8/5): An absolutely beautiful allocation and the suite had everything we needed with the exception of wifi. - The location was excellent. Wifi was not included.
- Barnabas (2/5): - This hotel sent me a cancellation notice less than 24 hours before check-in. They stated: "Due to unexpected inventory availability, your reservations at the WorldMark Victoria has been cancelled". I would not recommend booking with this hotel. We had to scramble to find accommodation on a very busy Canada Day long weekend with only 20 hours to do so. This has been a terrible experience & we are still waiting for a refund.
- Eunock (9/5): Superb - Spacious room, close to the harbour, nice conditions
- Ernie (10/5): Exceptional - It’s very close to downtown Victoria within walking distance and also walking distance to both ferries from Port Angeles and Victoria clipper from Seattle.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Ruben (10/5): Exceptional - LOCATION IS AWESOME. NO FREE WI-FI AVAILABLE
- Marc (9/5): Superb -
- Marion (6/5): It suited our needs to meet up with family from Ontario and Vancouver - The fact that we were not time share guests we not told there would not be any room service. Since we were staying 4 nights I didn’t think we had to go to front desk and as for TP for example.
With that being said staff were very accommodating to giving us an early check in and extra parking. Again the fact that you have to pay for wifi is annoying.
- Christa (10/5): - Over looked the bay. Watched float planes come and go.
- Laura E (10/5): - Great hotel. We love the heated pool and hot tub and the short walk to downtown.
- Aaron (9/5): Superb - Great location with a roomy, comfortable unit for us. The staff was friendly and their service was very good. Confusion about payment took up some of my time during the holiday. I had to make phone calls, and extra trips to the desk. This seems highly unnecessary. Not sure if this is due to an error on the part of Booking.com or a third party. This is a time share hotel, so they did not want any part of the payment.
- John (10/5): Looking forward to next visit - Location on the water by Fisherman's Wharf. Large comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent staff...all friendly and helpful. There is nothing to dislike!
- Ilga (9/5): Great JamesBay stay - All was excellent. James Bay good place. Outside pools awsome, warm. Family enjoyed a lot. Internet WiFi was not for free.
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (9/5): A lovely apartment overlooking the water and lights of Victoria. - Excellent location with excellent views overlooking the sea. It was a very well appointed suite with everything needed for self-catering. It was in fairly easy walking distance of downtown with close access to the shoreline. The underground parking worked well and was refreshing to have an efficient system of recycling waste material.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. When on the penultimate day (a Saturday), the apartment suffered a major electrical fault. The maintenance staff were on the job very quickly and a complete replacement was installed the same afternoon. While the fault was unwelcome, the staff repaired it in an exemplary and very courteous manner. We were on the 9th floor and it could take a bit of time for hot water to start. However, once going it was plentiful & certainly very hot. A teapot was the only thing missing.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Room was bigger than expected, more than enough space for our group. The rooms have DVD players and there was a large assortment of DVDs in the lobby to choose from. Location was central to all of our activities. Front desk staff were very nice.
- Usman (10/5): Phenomenal - Excellent location with harbour view Beds were small
- Anush (8/5): - Overall a good experience, especially if you are a large family like ours - the need to buy WiFi, non-standard housekeeping (you can call to request towels and amenities vs a getting your room tended to), and a small : narrow underground parking for a truck to navigate put this at 4 for us (vs a 5).
- Lucian (7/5): Was OK - Needs a bit of renovation\upgrading
- Andrea (10/5): Great Stay - great staff, great location, comfortable rooms. Great accessibility access for parking, rooms and grounds. We would stay again!
- Vanessa (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay. Very spacious and nice to have dishwasher and washer/dryer. If you have a suite over the pool and spa can be vwry loud as people's voices echo.
- Tyler (10/5): Exceptional -
- A (9/5): Superb - The two bedroom was spacious and very adequately equipped. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
- Katharine (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (9/5): Fabulous place to stay, but be aware you will have to puchase a wifi package for your stay! - Location was great - 10 minutes walk to the Parliament Buildings and Royal BC Museum/IMAX. Loved that the outdoor pool and hot tub were open even in the winter!! Wifi is NOT included. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel in Vancouver or Victoria before that didn't include free wifi. This was quite shocking for us!
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - The accomodation was roomy, had everything we needed, was in a good location and was very quiet. When I booked this trip my confirmation indicated that the Price was $1319.89 Canadian. When the cahrges came through on my credit card there were two. One was $1238.41 Canadian charged on 2025/01/14. The other was $197.87 charged on 2025/01/23. This makes a total of $1436.28 which is more than my confirmation stated.
- Pshenitsyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): - .
- Sheldon (10/5): - Awesome suite. Clean and well stocked. Will be back for sure
- Miriam (7/5): Good -
- Marion (8/5): More comfortable than a hotel room, and great views! - Good space with great views. Units are small to hold 6 people, but with 2 bathrooms, can certainly manage. Easy parking access and helpful front desk staff. Downtown noise travels to this area, so sirens are a part of the background from time to time. A vehicle is necessary to get to other places, as distance to walk to centre core can be prohibitive.
- Tammy Lynn (10/5): - Excellent stay. Great features like a BBQ, games and puzzles to borrow. Nice space with two bedrooms. Relaxing, super clean and wonderful staff. Will be here again.
- Vanessa (10/5): Great stay! - The cleanliness, amenities, location, and nice little details like the fireplace, the murphy bed, the fully equipped kitchen, and the hot tub.
I loved that they allow you to use the underground parking on the day of check out (you have all day).
The room was more than great for 3 people. The view was amazing too! The fact that you have to pay for wifi.
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional - Neat and tidy and spacious for our family of 4. Check in was easy. Great little gym. Was in a lovely location, within a nice walking to town along the water front. Would definitely stay here again.
- Sheila (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - Very clean. A great value. I think wifi should be included.
- Francis (2/5): Very poor - everything except... Not receiving an invoice for my stay. This is illegal. And having to pay for wifi
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marsha (7/5): Good - The location was good. The staff very polite and helpful. The facility appeared clean and the kitchen was stocked with basic equipment. The apartment was adjacent to the pool and was sometimes noisy from that as well as traffic and guests incoming and departing. The shower stall in the bedroom with the queen bed had a slippery floor. There was a bath mat but put away under the sink and not readily apparent.
- Karen (9/5): Loved our stay- super location!! -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Great location, nice place, fantastic staff.
Only thing was that I would have preferred a higher floor facing the harbour towards downtown as the unit was dark and on ground floor, so everyone walked across the unit to get to the hot tub and the maintenance stated early in the am. Otherwise a great spot. Staff outstanding.
- Joanne (1/5): Bad - This property canceled the reservation at the last minute. They said they were overbooked but there were rooms available on another site at much higher prices. Whata scam!!
- Jason (10/5): Awesome! - We were very happy with our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect, We will stay here again.
- Hadrien (9/5): Superb - paid-for wifi
- Christina (8/5): - Overall we enjoyed our stay, the suite was big and well equipped with everything we needed. The Murphy bed was a nice improvement over a pullout couch, so that was great.
My biggest complaint is that when I booked it said I would get a second bedroom with two twins, but upon check in we learned it had a queen bed - the twins were a big deciding factor for us because we had three boys along and they didn't want to share beds.
My second complaint is that we had to pay extra for wifi, it was spotty, and it cost more if you wanted more than 2 devices connected.
The third complaint is that the outdoor pool was pretty cold, and the hottub was definitely not HOT, and only chest deep.. I figured if it was open in November it would be heated to a more enjoyable temp.. that wasn't the case. Regardless my kids did enjoy it, but for shorter periods.
The overall cost was good, and the location on the water was nice, but it is a pretty far walk from downtown, so we did need to drive more than I anticipated.
- Peeve (9/5): Great stay, would stay again and would try other world mark properties at different locations. - 1st class condo type room, very well appointed. Booking dot com communication was poor, long waits, scratchy phone lines.
- Carrie (8/5): Great location, helpful staff, we will be back again. Thank you!! - The location was awesome and the layout of the apartment with two bathrooms was great. The only thing we didn’t like was the late check in and early check out times.
- Judith (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larissa (10/5): - A
- Zeus (2/5): Very poor - The rooms were confortable and cozy. I received a charge of 350 USD after one month and a half later on my credit card that I'm still trying to fight to reverse it. They shouldn't have saved my credit card. Be careful with this!
- Kevin (7/5): Good place to stay. Will consider coming back, but probably to a different room. - The room was spacious and clean. It was an excellent choice for a few days with our adult son. Parking was excellent. Paid Wifi. I don't understand why paid wifi in this day and age. Also the location of our particular room was near the street (end unit) and we could hear the street noise. On the second night, there was strong winds and there was a strange whistling sound that I couldn't identify the source of. Perhaps a different room would have been better.
- Cara (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - The location was great, overlooking the house boats of Fisherman's Wharf. Having 2 bathrooms in the 2 room apartment was very useful. The apartment was well equipped. The balcony was a little on the small side, although the weather wasn't great (early Nov) so not a major problem. Whilst the apartment was well equipped, many of the appliances & equipment did seem a little old & dated/tired.
- Henga (10/5): Great location and comfy unit - Great view of the harbour. Great location being beside the Fisherman’s Wharf and a 15-20min walk from the City’s main strip. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool too. Great friendly staff. The unit was well equipped. Thank you! N/A
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious for 6 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The bathroom had enough towels and toiletries. The beds were comfortable. The parking garage had more than enough parking spots that were not tight. Wifi was not free. The towels, although clean, were stiff and hard.
- Marc (10/5): - Loved everything about this place for our family getaway. We will be back for sure!
- Ig (9/5): Superb -
- Wayne (10/5): Ideal Location and Amazing Views - This accommodation is in the perfect location to explore Victoria and the surrounding areas—we never even used our car once we arrived! The city centre and supermarkets are all within easy walking distance.
The unit is spacious, offering exceptional views, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. The WiFi and multi-channel TV worked flawlessly.
With underground parking and a lift directly to the rooms, everything was very convenient. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Victoria! Balcony was too narrow if you wanted to eat outside. Large vehicles could find getting into underground parking a challenge. We had a regular size SUV and it wasn’t a problem.
- Cameron (10/5): Was excellent in general - Location and friendly staff Needed two parking stalls for my family
- Reiss (8/5): Perfect location, comfortable apartment and friendly staff - The location was perfect.
The apartment was large and comfortable.
The pool area was great. There was nothing we didn’t like, however our apartment was on the ground floor and it would have been amazing to have a high up apartment with a view, but it didn’t spoil our holiday in Victoria 😍
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Evgeniyaeg (9/5): Superb - Nice facility. Convenient location. Liked outside hot tub.
- Andrew (9/5): Great place to stay with excellent staff and a beautiful view - Nice location overlooking the bay, great pool area and very friendly staff. appreciated that they not only stored our luggage until the room was ready but also moved it to the room while we were out exploring Did not have air conditioning, but there was a fan available for the warmer days.
- Mary (10/5): - Love it here. In a great location. Our suite was beautiful, large and clean.
- Louise (7/5): Good -
- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Myra (9/5): Superb -
- Tawnya (10/5): - Love the views and the path alone the water!
- Lun (10/5): - The people at the front desk was very nice when we checked in, gave helpful tips which helped us a lot.
- Coffey (7/5): Good - Right near Fisherman’s wharf Feel like it was false advertising with a picture of the harbor from a room. Just not our room. We were on first floor. Dark. May as well have been in the basement. Disappointed
- Kevin (10/5): - Loved the condo. Need to be able to walk a bit to town but a beautiful walk. Living area a bit small and furniture lacked a bit of comfort but view was wonderful. Watched seaplanes take off and land. Right next to Fisherman’s Wharf where you can take a ferry taxi to town if you need. They are a bit pricey and Uber might be cheaper. Checkout is 10am which is a bit early being checkin isn’t till 4. I’d still return.
- Rosa (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - The location is the best, next to the beautiful fishman wharf and walking distance to the town. It is a two bedroom condo with kitchen facility, you need to prepare your own breakfast No air conditioner. It can be hot on a hot summer day. Internet connection will charge a fee.
- Amy (10/5): Clean, well appointed condo in a lovely spot near the water. - Location was great- amazing view of the harbor. Beds were comfortable, nice size unit for our family of five. Quiet and affordable.
- Kim (8/5): It was a very comfortable clean place to stay. The location was perfect. Easy to access yet close to town. - It was a great location The front bedroom doesn’t have a window that opens or air conditioning, therefore it hot very hot and unbearable for sleeping. The fans helped, but an open window would have been much better.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Great location, nice place to stay
- Kyle (10/5): - This hotel was a real gem and delighted our family on our stay in Victoria. Fantastic location walkable to downtown and immediately next to Fishermen’s Wharf and the paved multi-use path around the harbor. Set between two water taxi docks as well for easy access.
But it was the suit itself that stole our family’s hearts. We had a two room suite with three beds total, and it was spacious, inviting, contemporary and ample in every respect, with special shout outs for the great shower and bathroom, ample kitchen, and deck. We just loved the place. airs views of the harbor and around Victoria were a highlight too - allowing us to watch boats enter and leave and the seaplanes take-off and land.
Also a special mention for the well-sited pool and hot tub, which we enjoyed after a long day on the go.
- Linda (10/5): stayed with brother and sister in law... staff was friendly and accommodating. - no breakfast liked it all:)
- Glynis (8/5): - Location was great and the view from the property. Right next to fisherman’s warf. We wanted two queen beds one room had twin beds. Main tv did not work in living room.
- Shauna (8/5): Spacious unit great location, perfect for families. - Convenient location, spacious unit. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the unit. One of the cleanest properties our family has stayed at. Like most accommodations, beds and pillows too soft, so hard to have a good nights sleep.
- Mariana (10/5): - Nice view
- Juanita (10/5): - Loved the views of the Fisherman’s Village, lots of beautiful places to walk, easy to walk to downtown. Property was clean and nice, love having a full kitchen.
- Dana (8/5): - My only complaint is that we were there for 3 nights and there was only one package of coffee in the room and there was only 2 tablets for the dishwasher and there was no beach towels so we had to make alot of calls to the front desk.
- Merrilee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Young (9/5): Great place to stay but had to pay for wifi - Very roomy and clean. We had to pay for wifi
- Mellissa (8/5): Very good -
