- Micky Kruse (10/5): Great stay in Kenai - The accommodations were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay a lot. It was nice to have some breakfast items in the common area that were available and use the comfortable lounge with tables and chairs there for have our breakfast. The staff was so friendly and Katelyn gave us great recommendations about touring the area including a nice hike and going to the Homestead museum in Soldatna. The sink was besides the bed instead of the large bathroom, so I didn't have a nightstand.

- 958marylous (10/5): Stop searching elsewhere and book your room here - We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. I have nothing but praises to give regarding our experience here. The rooms were meticulously clean and provided everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were cuddly soft. Both women at the front desk were extremely polite and informative. They gave us suggestions about places to go when we asked. The woman who provided room service every day was super polite and courteous and went out of her way to assist us with anything we needed. As far as the airport being close by, I think I only heard 3 planes, and they did not bother me at all. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely stay here the next time I return.
- misty (10/5): - Love staying there, very clean
- candicecU3115TL (10/5): - The staff were friendly and curteous. The room was clean and comfortable. I have already recommended the Kenai Airport Hotel to friends and family.
- C6706SCstephens (10/5): Outstanding people and property!! - I travel a lot so I generally stay in large chain hotels, but ended up using this one due to limited availability and location, and I could not have made a better choice. The staff here are amazing! The room was comfortable and housekeeping does a great job every time they come in. They even leave little chocolate mints on the nightstand for you. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
- Gordon (10/5): - Great place with friendly people and very good wifi.
- Sarah (10/5): - Our personal welcome was the highlight of our stay. Very nice accommodations.
- Jeff (10/5): -
- Victoria (8/5): Quality Budger Room during Summer Season - Room darkening shades. Close to the airport. Close to beaches. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. We knew there wasn't air conditioning when we rented. The box fan and ceiling fan worked well to cool the room. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The fridge was very small. The chair was a basic stackable meeting room style chair.
- Gordon (10/5): - The staff was very friendly, the property was very quiet, and it was very clean. In addition, we were scheduled to see our kids online and the internet speed was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - Quiet by about 9:00 everyday. Very little airport noise. Great place. Lobby is beautiful.
- Charles (8/5): - Property is clean with great staff.
Parking right outside your door.
Hotel centrally located for everything in Kenai and Soldotna - and you are right by the airport.
- Sylvia (10/5): - The dog scared me when I was checking out... thought I was going to be ripped to shreds 😭
- Eric (10/5): - This was my second time staying here and will be back everytime we visit Kenai! The hotel is awesome the staff are super nice and the rooms and lobby are very clean and updated nicely. There is also an awesome bar at the airport that’s open late every day that is a two minute walk.
- Kenneth (8/5): - QUIET location. Comfy beds and lots of hot water. LIKED the Roku TV.
Snacks in the lobby for free.
Friendly staff.
- Randy (10/5): - Location is great if your using the airport at all. It is quiet and peaceful tucked into the trees. The staff is awesome, very freindly and helpful. Shirley at the front desk was helpful to accomodate a special situation. Nice lobby area if you need to do a little work. I will definately use again for more of our company travel in the Kenai area.
- Joan (10/5): - Front desk was super helpful!
- Kenaijohn (10/5): GREAT SMALL HOTEL!!! - Once again I stayed at the Kenai Airport Hotel, and once again I was extremely pleased.
This hotel is just a short walk from the airport, and is very convenient to a traveler.
This place is more like an Alaskan lodge with all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot in each room. The baths are great with lots of hot water, and all the accessories, including a hair dryer for those who may need one.
There are snacks, coffee and breakfast items in the lobby, which you can take to your room. There is a washer/dryer on site as well as a freezer for the fisherman.
This place is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. And the folks working here are very personable, helpful, and efficent.
LOVE IT!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything I needed. What stood out most was the staff; they were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything I needed. I truly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Kenai area.

- I3545ALjohnb (10/5): Brand new LVP flooring and exceptionally comfortable beds! - Brand new flooring in all the downstairs rooms, a huge upgrade from the old carpet that used to be. Loving the LVP hardwood floors. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, exceptionally clean. Great service and close to all the best restaurants in town. Only 15 minutes to work out in Nikiski, my whole purpose of travel.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (1/5): This is a place where we have stayed several times but not sure we would do again. - Cleanliness. I came home with bug bites and found that they were scabies.
- Sharlene (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (10/5): Comfortable - Location and great staff No concerns
- Lara (10/5): - The beds are the most comfortable in town!
- Dee_95014 (8/5): Comfortable hotel in Kenai, Alaska, with super convenient location - Two of us stayed in this hotel for about two weeks in late September to early October, 2024.
This small hotel, with about a dozen rooms, has a layout more like a motel than a large hotel. Room entrances are from the outside with parking immediately across from the room. The hotel enjoys an especially convenient location; you can just walk across the street from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is also within a short walk to car rental companies and to Safeway. It is centrally located, and is a short drive to many restaurants, and other shops in Kenai City.
The hotel staff are friendly, personable, and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. It had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. When we realized that the room did not have a table on both sides of the bed (required because we both use CPAP machines), the hotel staff quickly provided a small extra table.
The complimentary breakfast is simple but adequate, offering instant oatmeal, milk, yogurt, cheese, fruit juice, fresh fruit, oatmeal fruit-nut bars, protein bars, with tea and a selection of coffees. Breakfast was in a comfortable lounge area that guests could use throughout the day.
The one downside of the hotel is that the room lighting is dimmer than I would like, especially for reading or for putting on makeup. This is the reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5.
I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
- Jodi (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (6/5): It was clean convenient and not overly priced for what was provided. - I was able to walk to the airport for a very early flight.I enjoyed the bottled water and snacks provided. I don't know if it was comming from upstairs but there was quite a bit of noise throughout the night
- Terra (10/5): - Nice affordable hotel across from the airport in kenai. Super nice and accommodating staff. One thing to note is the lobby closes at 9 PM and opens at 9 AM. I had a late check-in because of weather and I called and it wasn’t a big deal. They leave a key for you if it’s past 9 PM. There is a little breakfast area with basics: oatmeal, some fruit, milk, yogurt, toast, granola bars, coffee, and tea. Rooms have a microwave and the beds are comfortable. It was clean. No complaints. If you’re sensitive to noise the walls are fairly thin so I could hear other guests, however I would stay there again. Restaurants and grocery stores are right around the corner along with Walmart and Home Depot.
- Paul (10/5): - Nice people - great service - clean hotel - great value
- Heidi (10/5): Best mattress ever! - Just a quick overnight visit, but the room was exactly what I needed. Conveniently located, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in.
- Curtis (4/5): - We were charged a very high rate for such a terrible room but there was nothing else in town open. The staff was very nice and helpful however.
- Peggy (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): - Great location with comfortable rooms.
- Michael (10/5): - Very nice staff and room was comfortable
- 438sallieh (10/5): Best place to stay in Kenai - This is my go to hotel when I visit the Kenai Peninsula. It is conveniently located across the street from the airport. The staff are delightfully friendly, it’s super clean, quiet, and the beds are comfy. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!
- Curtis (8/5): - A small hotel right across from the airport.
Fair price and close to Home Depot, Kenai Airport, Walmart, 3 bears and McDonalds.
Very friendly staff.
- Richard L (8/5): - Enjoyed the close proximity to the Kenai airport - within walking distance.
- Betty (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious,
Nice amenities,quiet, very comfortable.
Highly recommend this hotel.
- jackdB3267GW (10/5): Great - Great staff , sitting in main reception very nice and location. Brothers restaurant near by excellent as well. Wish they had bicycles.i have to type 200 characters so I’ll say weather could be improved but airport terminal is really cool with many neat stuffed creatures.

- ksD1608GK (10/5): Excellent little hotel in Kenai - Very friendly staff and super helpful. Stayed in the same room again that had some new upgrades. They accept dogs so that was the biggest selling point other than I had stayed there before and had a nice stay. Super close to everything in Kenai that you would need.

- jessicapT2296GJ (10/5): Quiet, little motel - Great little motel with excellent service! Room was clean with typical ammenities. Manager/owner was super helpful and nice. They texted and called me prior to arrival to ensure we could access our room if getting into town later. They offered a grab and go breakfast bar with coffee.
It's located right across the road from the airport; however, it is not noisy as you would expect.
Super clean property!

- _dietz413 (10/5): Exceptional -
- kenrR7388QK (10/5): Our go to place to stop over on the peninsula - My wife and I have a home on the peninsula and we stop at the Airport Hotel on the way to the cabin. It is easier than getting things opened up in the evening and a good break from travel.
Great place, quiet and private. Not a lot of fluff, just a pleasant place to stay and right across the street from the airport. We have pulled our luggage over to terminal more than a few times for early flights out, no problem.
- James (7/5): Good - The hotel was easy to find. The easy chair in the room was very comfortable. A hose for the shower would greatly improve the shower experience.
- Claudia (8/5): Very good - Homey. The staff are so welcoming and interested in their guests. Comfy beds and all the amenities were luxurious to us as our fishcamp was a disaster after 2 years absence. Located right across from the airport, it's surprisingly quiet and tucked away from town busy-ness but still close to everything. We will definitely stay again.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - You can park by rooms, had breakfast snacks
- Jat (9/5): Wonderful stay - Location, clean, well maintained, wonderful staffs. Nothing
- julia (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Dennis (8/5): Comfortable & quiet friendly base for exploring the area. - The location was quiet but close enough to everything we needed. The staff were friendly & efficient. They made recommendations when we had questions. I would stay here again if in the area.
- Ann (8/5): Very good - Adequate for our 1 night stay - on our way from Homer to Anchorage airport. We left before the office was open to have any breakfast items.
- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (10/5): - Best places I have stayed in by far.
