• Pedro Carvalho (10/5): highlight of our trip in the south - we were greated by a smiling staff, who took care of us throughout our stay. after many hours on the road, this relaxing stop was exacly what we needed. the view, the peacefulness, the sunset. Even the path from the main road to the hotel was magical.I enjoyed walking around and sitting in the pier. the food was great, and it was a surprise how much food we got. cant wait to come back!

• Eelke (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf in aan het water - Mooi kamp, afgelegen van de massa toerisme. Prachtige locatie aan het kamp. Vriendelijk personeel. Meerdere excursies gedaan, goed verzorgt. Tenten hebben goede AC, dat is erg prettig. Ontbijt eerste dag a la Carte omdat we de enige waren. Andere dagen zeer uitgebreid bij meerdere gasten. Kamer werd netjes elke dag gedaan. Begrepen niet helemaal waarom op Booking.com zo’n lage score, maar verwacht niet dat het een 5-sterrenhotel is. Je gaat “kamperen” met luxe. Ga hier vooral heen als je rust wilt hebben, in een omgeving wilt zijn waar minder toeristen zijn. Super ervaring! Tenten wat gedateerd, maar bevatten alles. Als je teveel last had van mieren etc dan hadden ze er wat voor. Prijs-kwaliteit niet helemaal in verhouding, is allemaal erg duur.

• Regina (5/5): מקום עם פוטנציאל אבל יש עוד הרבה מה לעשות ולהשתפר - הנוף מהבקתה היה מקסים מיקום באמצע הנהר ותחושת הרוגע של המקום איך שהגענו התנפלו עלינו מהקבלה שנזמין ארוחתערב והכי גרוע שאלו מתי אנחנו עוזבים....בנוסף צעקו עלינו שלא נסתובב במתחם כי יש אירוע פרטי .המיטה הנוספת לא הייתה מוכנה (למרות שהגענו בערב) כמו כן המתחם היה חשוך לחלוטין וחבל שמקום כל כך מיוחד חשוך. לטעמי המחיר יקר מאוד ולא נותן תמורה.

• M-E-Y (9/5): Lovely bungalows and scenery, some maintenance needed⁹ - I was a bit concerned about the hotel’s low rating, but it pleasantly surprised me. The bungalows are spacious and have great potential. The staff is very kind, and the location is stunning – you reach it by boat on the other side of the lake, and the view from the bungalows is amazing! The room maintenance needs improvement.

Staff is super friendly The property requires maintenance in the facilities and more cleaning of the bathrooms and showers roof that are filled with dead insects and dirt. With a higher level of attention to details this place would be a 10+!
• guy (9/5): Exactly what I expected – peaceful and well-designed stay - We had a great time! The place is nicely tucked away from the noise and crowds, perfect for relaxing in nature. There are two types of accommodations – bungalows and glamping-style tents, both thoughtfully designed. We stayed in the tent, which had air conditioning, a private toilet, and a shower – very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The current Booking.com score doesn’t fully reflect the quality and charm of the place. It definitely deserves a higher rating based on the facilities and overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy a quiet, cozy getaway. All was good

• Hans (10/5): Beautiful comfortable cabins and tents in an amazing natural setting on a lake - The natural setting in a private piece of forested hillside on a beautiful lake. Nobody seemed to be in charge. The very friendly and service oriented staff gets no clear guidelines, resulting in confusion English speaking staff not involved at mealtimes, so the ordering food is a unnecessary challenge.

• Danielle (8/5): Great wild experience - There were so many great things here and a few that didn’t make sense. The tents were so comfortable and absolutely gorgeous, the grounds were full of gardens and trees, staff were so friendly and the food was exceptional! We ordered lunch then preordered (as they requested it) the exact same Vietnamese food for dinner as was so delicious! We were very comfortable for our 2 night stay! Thank you to all the kind staff for looking after us. The cultural show was very moving too. The main thing that we didn’t understand was the locked gates to the property. We spent quite a while waiting and calling the hotline to get staff to let us in. Even when we arrived from the airport- we called 30 mins before arriving and they still had no way for us to enter. You could improve the experience by having some type of entrance where people felt welcome.

• Michèle (4/5): Dissapointing, unfortunately. - The rooms are exactly as described online. The bungalow rooms are very clean, big and nice. You have everything you need in the room. The lake view would be great, however it was so windy and cloudy that there was not much benefit of that. The food was really not good, probably one of the worst meals I had in my entire vietnam trip (and I have travelled through various different parts of Vietnam for almost 4 weeks by now). The second night, I even skipped dinner because I felt so bad after the first dinner. In additon to that, I was the only guest on the property on my second night (and one of three on my first night), which was very strange and I felt extremely uncomfortable. Because there were no other guests, everything seemed to be on a lower standard (food, service, available tours etc.). On my second day they didnt have a breakfast buffet anymore and provided me with rather few food options, bad quality and dry bread. The tour to the waterfall in general is very nice and my guide (staff of the hotel) was also very friendly. However, it all seemed a bit improvised and since there were no other guests, it was not really the experience I was expecting when reading information on the internet. In general, besides my tour guide, the staff wasn‘t engaging with me much nor were they trying to get my feedback (e.g., asked why I skipped dinner the second night). They were also not really helping me with transport options to get to my next location, so I arranged everything myself. Its a pity, as this could be such a great spot to visit the highlands in vietnam but for me definitively something I would not do again. If you do want to go there due to the nice landscape, bring some powerbars and food with you.

Also the food could use a bit more eye for detail and original tastes: now good but nothing special.

I believe no one sends those assets back to the receptionist and no service area requires that. You guys also don't have cameras in a 5 hectare area. The denial of responsibility regarding customers is unethical and unkind in business. If yesterday I was attacked or lost my identification documents, or was a foreigner,... would you still tell me to wait for the police to resolve it? I feel it is necessary to issue a warning to all tourists in Vietnam and around the world to know about the lack of ethics of Lak tented camp. Rencontres avec les locaux, vaches et buffles qui sont partout lors nos promenades sans guide. Tente de style safari confortable, les repas au restaurant très bien, surtout le petit déjeuner. Accueil plus que excellente par tout le personnel du campement.

Just the bed in the tent, not even a chair to sit in. Bathroom outside the zippered door. No wifi in the tent. Neighbors had small children that woke us up at 6 am. The most expensive place we’ve stayed in Vietnam, but far from the best. Not sure how they justify the price.

• Jonathan (2/5): Underwhelming. Not as advertised. - Lake was OK but a bit underwhelming. The facilities were run down and nothing like as luxurious as the photos. It is not glamming. Tent damp and bathroom basic and dirty. The price is way too expensive for the level compared to other places in Vietnam. The staff were friendly but they try to sell you very expensive excursions. The whole site is claustrophobic and on a muddy bank on the wrong side of the lake so there is very little sun. The food was the worst we ate in Vietnam. Altogether hugely disappointing and not what we expected at all. We checked out early. If you want to see elephants don’t see them here in the villages in captivity - go to Yok Don National Park and see them in the wild.
• Inbar (8/5): Very good - The camp is cool and arrive with the small bote is nice. The tant is big and nice .but bathroom is not so good. The tant are inside the forest and the way is a bit dark. Nevertheless it was an adventure and if you ever watched the white lotus on Netflix we really felt like it. Bathroom was not good hot water strim was not strong and it wasn't very clean. The food in the restaurant was bad and expensive.

• Tal (8/5): Very good - we stayed in the Bungalow. on one floow there was a queen-size bed + 2 single beds that were added to the room for the 4 of us. on the second floor was a nice living room. Bungalow had beautiful view to the lake and very nice garden on the prpperty. food was average for dinner. good breakfast at night loud kricket and duck noise. i liked it but it woke us up..

Personnel souriant et bon accueil avec un personnel de réception très efficace pour l'organisation des excursions. Restauration sur place délicieuse et copieuse sans exagération sur les prix. Tentes un peu fatiguées qui mériteraient une rénovation. Mais elles sont propres et bien nettoyées tout au long du séjour. Je recommande l'endroit pour un séjour de 3 à 4 nuits.

• Michele (8/5): very rural Vietnam experience but with a high class accommodation. - extra-ordinary place free water tap!! few of the staff speak english, but they are from the local village so it is understandable. But at the same time we had the feeling that a few weren‘t much welcoming. A suggestion: it is a good thing that the restaurant tries to only use what they themselves grow, but please advise guests when only one sort of vegetable is at hand right now. And the restaurant seems to be overpriced for the region, but we assumed prices help keeping the eco spirit.

Service was great, and it was amazing staying in the tent room. What a unique experience. Pricy for Vietnam but a very cool experience. Be sure to ride a bicycle to Yang Tao village.

• Dicky Chi Wai (8/5): Fantastic Camp - Everything was good, manger and staffs were very friendly and helpful, Breakfast were very fresh, good environment for relaxing it was absolutely, in front of river with very less mosquitos, Dinner also pretty good and reasonable prices, The pier was not very safety no matter hands free or carrying something even boat crews will helping you, Thought that will be more dangerous if raining, We found one small frog inside the flushing gap of tent toilet haha, it was brown frog 😁😁😁 Anyway in the camp site cannot avoid small bugs, But overall the Camp was amazing, nice, we were enjoyed two nights there,

Hele aardige mensen, allemaal Mnong. Zalige rust. Het kan in februari erg warm zijn maar daar kwamen we voor. Koffie bloemen ruiken ontzettend lekker.

• しろくまま (4/5): 注意！よく調べてから予約して下さい。ラック湖の孤島です。 - 下調べをしないで予約してしまうと大変なホテルです。（調べる手段が少ないですが・・・） ホテルにはタクシーではいけません。ホテル専用のボート乗り場に行き、ホテル専用のボートで反対岸に渡ります。（ボート乗り場にたどり着けたことが奇跡です。） ホテルに電話連絡をしない限り、ボートのお迎えは来てくれません。私の携帯は電話は使用しないでインターネットのみ使用可能の携帯だったので、伝わらない英語やベトナム語を並べてタクシーの運転手に電話連絡してもらいました。（ボートは連絡して30分後に到着） １Fフロント、２Fレストランの建物以外は全部個室テントです。ここに渡ってしまったら何もする事がありません。 テントのベランダからラック湖をひたすら眺めるだけです。 チェックインするなら、ブオンジュンなどで遊んできてから夕方～夜にチェックインするのがお勧めです。 とにかく料金は全て高いです。朝食付きではありません。エクスペディアの予約は朝食込みになってましたが付いていませんでした。夕食・朝食・空港までのタクシーで170万VNﾄﾞﾝ近く払いました。
