Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): - Perfect for people who love water sports. Culturally enlightening and very personable staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a brilliant time on our cruise - the staff were so lovely and warm and friendly, and it was perfectly relaxed and not over managed with too much, or too many announcements. The boat was great, we had a great cabin as we were travelling with teenagers they had their own interconnecting room with ours. Food was fantastic, and we were able to dive everyday or snorkel or relax - there was no pressure to do anything, only what you wanted.
- TravellinTexans (8/5): - We loved that it was a smaller ship, as this was our first cruise. The staff to passenger ratio was very high and they were so friendly and courteous to everyone. Their joy just being their doing their jobs was contagious. The food was outstanding; the only problem is trying not to overindulge. This cruise seems to be geared more toward adults, as we didn't see any area designed just for children. One suggestion is that there could be more activities initiated by the crew toward interactions between passengers--maybe a game night or a trivia contest in the evening? One thing that disappointed us was that the weather impacted a couple of the planned excursions--we had been looking forward to visiting the church and listening to their choir and to hiking up the hill to see the 360 degree view. The crew, of course, had our safety in mind at all times. Since we were newbies and it IS the South Pacific, we didn't think that weather could interrupt the scheduled activities :( The deep water snorkeling was a new and fun experience that wasn't difficult at all. Overall, this first cruise was a great experience for us and we would recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great crew....fantastic snorkeling! The ship is getting a little dated but the service is great and the itinerary is fantastic
- Carlton (10/5): - The good things: (1) fantastic staff that goes out of their way to be welcoming and helpful and friendly; (2) out-of-this world itinerary that includes beaches, snorkeling, cookouts, village visits, sea caves, etc; (3) pretty good food overall; (4) no attempt to "rip you off" with alcohol prices jacked-up 300% or demands for lavish tips. The bad: it's a small ship, with small ship amenities and the ship is 32 years old and rooms are tiny and a bit threadbare This is not Carnival, nor the Queen Mary, nor are they trying to be. The boat can go places other boats cannot and you are with 120 guest max, not 3000. We really, really enjoyed our experience and would love to go again. This is personalized cruising through unbelievable locations meeting fantastic local people at a reasonable price.
