- Francis (9/5): - It is a very nice hotel, centrally situated. We were on a floor quite high up so it was quiet. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was good. Parking was confusing. The car park isn't well signed and it was tricky to navigate.

- FarAway23656181478 (2/5): Poor service - 3rd stay: this time the c/in process was fast. I had problem with the sleeper regulation. I can’t use the sleeper outside the room, they said its for safety matter but i think its just because they want to cut their budget. When i had bfast on 2nd floor i had to wait for sometime for them to refill the fried rice. And 1 of the black uniform chef (chef de partie or demi chef, i guess, or maybe DUMMY chef, LOL) told me that they always wait the food on the line to finish first and they will make a new one (stupid answer in my opinion), u can’t wait until the food finish to make a new one, the food taste was just okay nothing special for 5 stars hotel. And i found a piece of ‘HAIR’ on my plate under the omelete that i order. When i told one of the waiter, the waiter seems not surprise n just said ‘oh iya’ without any apology. Seems like they need to learn more about basic service. And when i share my feelings to the front desk, both the agent and i dont know the other lady whether she is the spv or manager (the chubby old lady) both insisted telling me that the sleeper is room facilities and not guest facilities, so guest can’t take the sleeper outside the room. Seriously they need to learn more about hospitality industry. So my review for this hotel, the hotel facilities was just OKAY, but the service is so POOR in most of dept. The hotel is 5stars, but the service is so poor 1st stay :I hated my c/i process. the check-in process took a long time, more than half an hour even almost 1 hour because the front desk agent gave the wrong room and did not match my request (it seemed futile to fill in the request column at Traveloka when booking). Front desk agent seemed overwhelmed by the crowd of guests, there were only 2 front desk agents at the time, supervisors and managers were only busy hiding in the back office. after I got the room I want, it was very simple, 1 large bed and smoking room. I found my room without an ashtray (they sell smoking room but do not provide any ashtray in the smoking room), to get an ashtray, I had to wait more than 1 hour. exaggerated. rooms, facilities, buildings, food, are quite satisfying, but their front office services seems too excessive to be called a 5 star hotel.

- Stephen (10/5): - Very posh and well equipped hotel located in one of the best spot in west Surabaya. Which unfortunately is also it's downside. Avoid staying here when there are known large events happening. Combined with the nightmare that is the nearby freeway exit, we had been stuck waiting for our turn at the elevator for 15-20mins, despite their staff best effort to coordinate it in real time with radios. Waiting for your valet to return can also take up to 30mins during some of these events.
- Monfore (9/5): Be back often - We like everything, spacious room with table and couch that allows us to work from our room, the window allows plenty of natural light during the day and at night the room has good lighting. AC was a bit noisy but comfortable we can set the temperature ourselves. The is a sliding door that keeps the bedroom area separate from the bathroom area, which was a genius touch, not only it cuts down the noise from the corridors, it also made sure that if one of us needs to use the bathroom, the sliding door keeps the bedroom quiet and dark. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, always fresh and hot, coffee was plentiful. Location of the hotel is also very convenient for the things that we need to get done. Our room is right around the corner from the elevator, so we can hear the elevator going up and down, it takes time to get our ears used to it, doesn’t bother us afterwards

My mom condition was critical, the Staff able to help to provide vehicle for us to go to ER at nearby hospital. At the morning the manager reached me to check my mom condition, assisted my 3 years old son & his nanny for breakfast, such a thoughful of you. Thank you None

When there are a lot of people we had to wait for long periods to get the lift especially on the higher floors because every time the lift arrives it is full of people.

Comfortable beds. Fancy toilet. Food and drinks at the lounge are quite basic. Fridge in the room was not working. Free minibar but no sodas. “Rain shower” was more of a drizzle.
