• Amy (8/5): Great value for money, great location, little extra TLC and it would have been perfect - Perfect location. Very gutted about the car park closure, travelled with 2 babies so lots of luggage to manage. Facilities were great, everything we needed for our 2 night stay Clock didn't work, sofa was a little worn, needs upgrading. Main bathroom was a little grubby, dishwasher didn't work and cutlery, utensils etc needs upgrading.
• GABRIELA (10/5): peaceful good place - Its location near the mall and train station is very good, I liked it and would definitely stay there again when I return to Basingstoke. The mattresses need to be replaced; I can feel the springs in my back. That's the only thing I didn't like; my back hurt so much I need a massage. 😂😂

We had two apartments and they were conveniently located next to each other. Did not get a code for the trash bins outside.

• Laura (7/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient! - The parking is really convenient and nice the apartment itself is Very conveniently situated and clean/tidy. It’s so nice to have an elevator (for bringing luggage up to the apartment). It’s well laid out with the en suite to the main bedroom, a spare room and second bathroom and the kitchenette. Very nice dining table The lounge area was less spacious and welcoming compared with some other equivalent apartments I’ve stayed in, but still acceptable.
• Penelope (7/5): My daughter and I found the apartment to our liking and would stay there again. - We bought our own food. Location was excellent for the town Centre. The shower in the master bathroom was too high and difficult to adjust. A Grab Handle would also be a great help as the shower floor can become very slippery. The television would have been better if the main channels were also included, BBC ITV.

• Leoni23 (9/5): Superb - A large, conformable apartment equipped with all utilities, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a kitchen with everything you need. Unfortunately, the temperature set in the block cannot be changed and it was a bit cold.

• Getta (7/5): Difficult to find this location in Central Basingstoke - Spacious living room. Kitchen was adequately fitted. Useful dishwasher and washing machine. Location very central. Incredibly hard to find, poor signage. Not great views, rather dingy outlook. It was overall clean, but we found a dirty sneaker in the divan drawer under the bed.
• Allison (8/5): Excellent value central apartment stay in Basingstoke - The location is excellent especially for travelling into London which we did. Plenty of shops nearby whether you want to self cater or eat out. The host was excellent with good communication. No issues on getting in or collecting the keys. The apartment was quiet and well maintained. The beds were a bit uncomfortable for us but that is down to preference of mattresses. The apartment was quite warm in the hot weather we had and because of traffic noise from outside you couldn’t really have the windows open but again that didn’t detract from our visit.

• Natalie (8/5): Lovely on the inside. - The apartment was clean, spacious and well-appointed. It was also in a handy location. The outside of the building needs some TLC as it looks quite derelict, and when we walked in, the carpets must have just been cleaned as it smelled awful! It really did not make a good first impression.

• Lewis (6/5): Great apartment, terrible nights sleep - Great location to festival place shopping mall, nice 4th floor apartment with balcony and big opening slide door, nice and clean, 2 bathrooms, nice welcoming pack. I hate to say this but it was the worst mattress I have ever slept on, was so so bad I even debated leaving and going to a premier inn.

• Gerhard (8/5): Very good - Lovely, spacious apartment and centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of a shops, train station etc. Generally well equiped, comfortable and clean. Free WiFi provided. The kitchen could do with a breadboard. And if there is one, couldn't find it.
• Matthew (10/5): Perfect and have rebooked for the following week! - Very well located within easy walking distance of the shops and with a nearby supermarket. Comfortable bed and well appointed with all the facilities you could need. Good safe parking and very quiet.
• Faith (8/5): Lovely apartment - Beautiful spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Clean and well furnished throughout. Easy to access and very central location. Perfect for our stay. I would stay there again. The toilets didn't flush well- we actually didn't contact anyone about it as we only slept there and spent all of the time at family who live locally so can't comment on how quickly it would have been sorted if raised.

• Sharron (9/5): Lovely clean apartment, Lewis was very easy to communicate with. Have stayed in a different apartment at this location a - The property is a great location for our needs, walking distance to station and town. Was light and airy, clean and functional. The beds are a small double so if you are taller than average it’s not so comfortable as feet hang over the end which is wooden footboard. If staying more than a few nights I’d invest in a decent mattress as the current ones aren’t so comfortable but this may be due to the middle pole supports from the bed. Sometimes the traffic is noisy as on a roundabout, not so noticeable when windows are closed though.

• Marcia (10/5): We had a wonderful stay. The flat was comfortable, cosy and quiet. - exceptionally clean. very comfortable beds. good layout. surprisingly quiet. Lewis left us a welcome pack with lactose free milk and gluten free goodies. hypoallergenic flat with cleaning products. great stay if you suffer allergies. Lewis was just amazing and helped us out instantly with a couple of minor issues, not related to the property. loved the balcony. we will most definitely be returning and hope we can book again. We felt really safe with the locking system. all deliveries came to our front door and not outside door. lift to property. beds were super comfy. we really loved staying in this flat. 2 bathrooms and 2 showers, so no rushing around to get ready, was fantastic. wonderful we were provided with all cleaning products, bin bags and more. Well received and appreciated. Garden was immaculate and nice for a little sit outside in the sun. the balcony gets the afternoon and evening sun which was also another lovely treat. We found our perfect stay to visit with family in Basingstoke. we cannot thank you enough, Lewis and team. Hope to see you again. Gratitude to you all at Western Gate. 🙏💜🙏 did not like banging our legs on corners of class table. 😂
• Waterm2 (10/5): Excellent - The hotel is in a great location, only 7 minutes walk to the railway station and shopping centre. The rooms are fantastic with full facilities and weekly cleaning. The management team are also very responsive with their responses. There's not much to say, but it can be a bit noisy at night because it's right next to the road.
• Niina (8/5): for short stay and large groups - good location next to shopping centre. 1 parking spot just for you. clean sheets, towels, facilities as promised & worked. great communication from the hosts, fast replies the flat is outdated, it’s fine but not modern or fresh. I didn’t like it was dirty, the place wasn’t cleaned properly. floor had dirt, for example big old white (yogurt ?)stain right under my feet when I sat on sofa. many other stains on the floor especially next to bin. the oven is so greasy and dirty that when I put it on I thought it was going to start fire, there was much smoke. kitchen had all you needed but, old and dirty items. bathroom surfaces hadn’t been even wiped, overall I was disappointed , wiping counters and mopping floor is basic cleaning I thought.

• Eccerebeccaappropinquat (10/5): Clean, convenient and spacious apartment - We had booked into another property in Basingstoke and were massively let down by them (they canceled on us right at the last minute). Booking.com recommended this as a last minute replacement and stranded in Basingstoke, miles from home, we didn't have much choice! It was clearly fate! We spoke to the team on the phone and within half an hour they had the place ready for us, even the heating on so it was toasty warm when we arrived. We were so impressed, the place was immaculately clean, spacious and fully kitted out. The dedicated off street parking was very secure, the wifi was strong and we didn't hear a peep out of anyone else while we were there. We were delighted that our potential disaster was salvaged so successfully and and had a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
• Karen (10/5): This apartment was brilliant, very close to a supermarket and a large retail centre - The apartment was super clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and thank you for leaving dishwasher tablets!! Walking into the apartment i was greeted by a pleasant smell and the apartment temperature was just right! I felt at home right away and it was super convenient to have Waitrose on the door step!

It was extremely easy to actually get in contact for any additional information needed as well as extremely quick to respond. It was also secure and i felt safe, as well as also being extremely close to anything additional needed. It also supplied me with any extra things i could need such as nearby places to visit. Honestly there wasn't anything i didn't like.
