Ze zijn veel bezig met duurzame energie en groenten uit eigen farm. Een hele goed prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ik ben van een vast ander adres overgestapt op deze!! Een aanrader! • Irene (10/5): Great atmosphere - Magnificent short stay we had. Steven and Crystal are some of the most gentle and friendly hosts there are out there. Same goes for the employees at ORT Vista. We really appreciated the kind attention and overall experience here.

• Gerrit (8/5): - De chauffeur van Vista ORT nam optijd contact op om ons gratis van de luchthaven naar het hotel te brengen. Daar aangekomen was een vroege check in mogelijk, het personeel is erg behulpzaam. Een kleine menukaart zorgde voor simpele maar lekkere gerechten, die op aanvraag ook op de kamer gegeten konden worden. Er was een kosteloze wasservice, helemaal top! Het hotel zegt verduurzamingsverbouwingen te hebben. Hierdoor gaat elke dag (tussem 13:00 en 17:00 uur) de stroom van het gehele gebouw, waardoor er geen gebruik gemaakt kan worden van de faciliteiten zoals WiFi. Onbekend tot wanneer de werkzaamheden duren.

• Deon (7/5): An oasis in the "desert" - Very friendly staff. The airport transfers were on time and reliable. The breakfast was outstanding. Everything was prepared well and delicious. The venue is not in a good area, but the inside is like an oasis in a desert. Spectacular gardens, beautiful pool. The place needs a redo. The said they are busy with a revamp, but overall not bad to stay there.

Power went in and out (not their fault ,just good old South African power services and no onsight generator or invertor. WiFi wasn't as great Shower could do with a better shower head Water under the floor in the bathroom . Mostly constructive , but for the price point I couldn't fault them too much and great staff .

Didn't work in the room so had to keep coming out to the reception area where it worked. The TV also didn't work. I had an overnight till my flight the next morning so not great when you've got no WiFi or TV to keep you entertained. The room itself didn't look as nice as it did in the photos.

Mais le lendemain j'étais obligée de retourner vite à l'aéroport par manque de l'energie dans mon telephone puisque à l'hotel il y avait coupure à chaque instant et pas de generateur allumer pour suppler. Je ne sais pas si ce jour-là il y avait une raison particulière à cette coupure

• Linda (8/5): One night is perfect, but forget your phone. Wi-Fi not great! - Love the staff! They go overboard for you! The shower was amazing water pressure and so nice and hot! We left before breakfast but they still made us coffee and bagged lunch! The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow. They even attempted to give me the front desk one. They really feel bad about it, sad.

• Sam (5/5): Needs improvement - Staff were nice. Gives bush lodge vibes. They run on a generator, the wifi is absolutely atrocious- I was on a business trip and couldn't work once I got back. Went a couple of hours with no electricity because the generator needed a break. They chose to do this at 4pm. With the heat , not having AC was horrible.

• Marcos (6/5): Avaliação do hotel em Joanesburgo - O local é bonito. A limpeza não estava muito boa. Tinha cheiro estranho no quarto e fios de cabelo no banheiro. O café da manhã é muito fraco. Te perguntam o que você quer comer e te trazem na mesa, porém de for.ma bem econômica para eles. Não gostei.

• Keshni (6/5): Very basic - It was suitable & comfortable for 1 night. There was a cockroach in the room when i entered. The lampshade did not work. The tv did not work. The bathroom tap and shower head sprayed water all over. It was very noisy when people were talking in the corridor, you could hear everything in the room making it difficult to sleep - perhaps there should be a sign to keep noise levels down / sound proof rooms? The breakfast was poor - despite requesting veg & gluten free, options were limited. Short staffed, as the same person at reception was the same person to check on us at breakfast. Staff lacked professionalism

The owners and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well-taken care of throughout our stay. Their hospitality is unmatched! As a bonus, their dog is absolutely adorable and made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a place where you’ll be treated like family, this is it. We can’t recommend them enough!

The whole facility doesn't have a mere iron to press your clothes. The reception was such a passive and cold one as if one was just squattering. I appreciate the shuttle service that was so great although I booked on the eleventh hour . When it comes to the facility itself , the lodge really ain't value for the money.
