• Rethabile Fenyane (8/5): - The apartment was spacious and really clean, I had everything in there The noise, there was a fan-like thing making noise out of one of the toilets, if not both, the place had a strong smell of smoke but It was mentioned in there somewhere...it was my first time booking an apartment (Airbnb) type of things, the rules are a lot, like a lot!

Unf - The view, distance to the beach and the property itself was stunning Maybe the worst sleep I have had at other properties. The noise of the pipes made it very difficult for us to sleep.

• Vusi (6/5): Communication with the facility managers very poor. - Facility very excellent I was told someone was bringing the keys to the place, ended up waiting more than hour. I had to go fetch the keys at the garage, when I didn't have a car. We also expirienced a burst Geyser, which was unfortunate. It took us for ever to be relocated to the new place, where the matter was reported at 06H00, we could be placed up until very late during the day.

• Mahomed (4/5): - Location was beautiful Safe environment Sliding door in the lounge could not be fully closed. Due to the extreme high winds and cold weather it was uncomfortable to be using the lounge facilities. 1 bedroom - on the night we arrived and tried closing the blinds - blinds completely fell off the rail.we noticed that it was stuck with masking tape. Main bedroom bathroom smells moulding and it's not a healthy environment.Holes around shower drainage outlet is a health hazard. Our complaint was addressed with Propr however not attended to whilst our stay on property. Disappointed ☹️

• Julia (10/5): The Bay 804 is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location — just a short walk from the beach, with stunning views of the - Area is close to the sea with a sea and Table Mountain View. Property is clean, provision of heater and fan, dishwasher Shortage of toilet papers
• Odoemela (9/5): The stay was phenomenal and I would totally recommend it - The amazing view and how immaculate it was Some appliances didn’t work and could add more cleaning equipment for example mop, broom, and paper towel.

I had the best birthday weekend ever. #birthdaygetaway2025❤️ The only problem i had was there were no kitchen cloths we had to use a towel and im so sorry for using the towel It said that hairdryers wil be provided and there wasn't any i had to sleep with wet hair

• Stephen (1/5): Bad - Book in was for 3pm we got in at 4:05pm. On arrival we told them that the DSTV was not working. They said a technician will be scheduled for the next morning at 10am. After numerous phone calls the technician arrived at 1:15pm and still could not be fixed. We complained the stove was not working. They said we not telling them the truth. On checking out this morning the lady saw the stove not working and said she will report the problem. A cock roache investment as well. Broken blinds etc etc. A really unpleasant experience.
• Moosa (5/5): Accomodation was stunning, view was beautiful, place was safe and secure. - View was absolutely breathtaking, a piece of heaven Kitchen has cockroches, TV wasn't working properly, wifi has poor signal. People was parking in our parking.
• Samantha (4/5): Great location, unit not as we expected and noisy neighbourhood. - The location is great This unit is not maintained very well, cupboards are falling apart and the overall cleanliness is not as we expected. There is also mold in the one bedroom cupboard, so we could not use that cupboard.

• Rick (8/5): - So communication was a problem. I ask the agents or whoever i was communicating with multiple times to come fix our tv and the dstv and no one came out in the 5 days we were there. So many different agent communicate with you and none seems to know what the previous person was talking about with me. There were cockroaches in the place and some of the blind couldn't open or close. The stay was good but the management is terrible.

• Wenda (4/5): We had an okay time, but for a location like this expected a bit better maintenance. - The blinds were all in poor condition - and unfortunately needed to be opened/closed daily. we had to make fixes ourselves.. some of the wood panelling on the cupboards (bathroom & kitchen) was broken an damaged, some much needed maintenance required. Security gate locked, but the hinge can easily be lifted off from the outside.

• Shamin (3/5): Not what I paid for. - Location was excellent. Self catering no breakfast provided The bathroom needs a good clean up and upgrade. En-suite shower too small. Broken cupboard. Roll up/curtains broken. Stove takes an hour to heat up, the big plate at the back trips the main switch. Wifi did not work. Not enough blankets. No air conditioning. No smart TV. Well a suppose the entire apartment needs a make over.

• Mish (5/5): Passable - the location was great, however we could not enjoy the seaview from the bedrooms as the blinds were broken. The main en suite had an awful musty smell - so bad that we could not use the bathroom to shower. The bed in the en suite was very lumpy on the one side. Unfortunately the property has the ability to be awesome, but it needs serious maintenance. I was very disappointed as I have never had sub standard accommodation in Cape Town.

• Ebbyzozo (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location and beautiful environment . The beds are really gone back to its manufacturers. There is a need to change the bed because we left with body aches as a result of the flat bed. We literally slept on the irons. Again, it was sooooooo inconvenient for us to stay in the room because of the cigarette smoke that constantly f8ll up the room. We're non-smokers, so I don't know why we should suffer having to sniff in smoke all the time someone else's smoke.

• Glintzer (5/5): Uncomfortable, to say the least. - The view. The main bedroom has an awful smoke smell. The mattresses and pillows are terrible, and the main bedroom, especially, it feels like you are sleeping on the mattress springs. Cutlery and kitchenware are minimal. There are not adequate amounts of individual items for all guests to use. The windows are terribly dirty. Multiple window blinds do not work. Balcony railing is not secure and braking loose on the corners. Balconies are not fitted with furnishings like pictures. The en-suite bathroom has mold in the shower and was not clean. The second bathroom is unfinished with missing tiles and a loose cupboard door. There are no plug adaptors for 2 point plugs. Checkout is tedious as there are no clear instructions on how to get out when you have no keys or gate codes. One person had to keep the gate open for another to go drop the keys inside.

• Irene (10/5): Heaven on earth - The sea views throughout the apartment are nothing short of magnificent! The cleanliness, the decor and, the location were out of this world! If you're looking for a stunning and tranquil home away from home, then look no further! I highly recommend The Bay 804 whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it offers exceptional five-star quality accommodation and value for money.
• Colleen (6/5): - This property has the most incredible view - this is it's saving grace. It is also across the road from the beach and once you figure out the very complicated access and exit process you are good. The decor in the photos is true to the experience - pretty if you don't take a closer look. Be aware there are about 10 very, very steep steps from where you park to the entrance of the building. The apartment is very run down/shabby. The beds are uncomfortable (torturous), the sofa is stained and quite dirty. The laminate floors are curling up, the bathroom cabinets water damaged. The door covering the hot water heater is held up only with a piece of tape wrapped around a water pipe (I have photos). The master bedroom door was coming off at the top hinge and couldn't close fully and the handle came off in my hand when I tried to open it. (They did come and fix this when I complained). The blind in the master bedroom sticks half closed (fixed but resumed issues the next day). The front left stove plate doesn't work and the back right stove plate tripped out the entire apartment. (Apparently the property manager needed to "assist with the bed and stove" which they didn't). We stayed 2 weeks, but slept at friends and families homes for 6 of the nights so we could sleep comfortably. The mattresses really need to be replaced! The closets smell. I'd avoid staying here if you value a good night's sleep. We slept on the sofa a couple of nights in desperation. Cape Town is spectacular!

The main bedroom and lounge has uninterrupted views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island Waking up to these was truely magnificent! The unit needs some maintenance The door knob was difficult to lock, the kitchen window is completely missing, the stove kept tripping the power and the bedroom throws need a good wash!

Wind was blowing in because it was on 8th floor and sleep poorly because off that. Did take it up with agend. Agend said she took it up with maintanance. Weel that was it. No window the weekend

The owner instructed me to leave the property keys in a secure place only to be accused later. I was told she couldn’t find it at the place she told me to leave it and that made me feel so bad, it’s like she was insinuating that I might come back later and break into her apartment 😢😏

• Maphumulo (6/5): Location and the views spectacular. - The location and the view is amazing, it's everything and more we wished for as tourist. 10/10 Facilities and services are really bad. Stove takes forever to heat. kitchen drainage system is not working properly. Tv channel can only watch SABC 1, 2 and 3 only. Lastly and definitely the worst It's was very hard for us to find the key, they sent email after 18:00 and the location link was not working. We only Checked in after 21:30, Thanks the Neighbors that assisted us and show how remote its works, they told us we are not the first people complain so it's a recurring. We thought we were scammed on the day of arrival.
