Area is convenient to all tourist attraction by bus and taxi. Staff was amazing. Princess checked us in and she was polite, professionally and helpful. Thank you again. I will be back to this hotel.

- Allison (10/5): - The hotel was very cute, newly renovated with a nice design. I had a double sized room. Nice large window and the room was newly renovated as well and a nice size for Paris. I enjoyed the rainhead shower and hand held combination in the shower which was spacious. Liege and Saint Lazare Subway stations are about 8-13 min walk respectively. This neighborhood was good for restaurants, lots of walkable options within minutes including special dietary needs (<20 min). Fast check in.

Hotel está em excelente estado com roupas de cama e toalhas novos, macios e confortaveis. A reforma em fase final existente em 1 dos andares em nada incomodou. Supermercados, bistros e transportes em volta do hotel. O unico problema encontrado foi o frigobar que simplesmente não gela. A recepção disponibilizou seu proprio refrigerador em sua cozinha para nós. Há Disponibilizado um quarto de hospedes no térreo caso precise faxer alguma troca de roupa ou banho de chuveiro em caso de chegada antes do check-in ou após check-out. Excelente custo x beneficio do valor de hospedagem.
- Sümeyra (8/5): - Das Hotel Le Cardinal liegt sehr zentral und ruhig in Paris. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet, aber die Wände waren leider sehr hellhörig. Man konnte die anderen Gäste deutlich hören, was nachts etwas gestört hat. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber die Auswahl eher begrenzt. Etwas mehr Vielfalt wäre schön gewesen. Besonders positiv war das freundliche Personal und die angenehme Atmosphäre im Hotel. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen. Für einen Kurztrip nach Paris trotzdem empfehlenswert.

- Simone (10/5): - Obwohl in der Lobby noch letzte Renovierungsarbeiten stattfanden, gab es kaum Einschränkungen. Die Arbeiten begannen morgens ab ca 8 Uhr. Das Auto konnten wir in der Nähe in einem sicheren Parkhaus abstellen. Preis für 3 Nächte 56 € incl. 10% Ermäßigung durch das Hotel.

Such comfy beds which was needed for all the walking we were doing as it was our first time visiting. Ubers were easily accessible outside of the hotel with cafes and restaurants close nearby. Already looking to come back here!

- Nathalie (8/5): Avaliação julho/2025 - O atendimento da recepção sempre excelente, porém a moça da limpeza deixou a desejar alguns dias pois não arrumava as camas. Outro ponto que deixou a desejar foi de que o hotel estava em obras e isso não foi informado no momento da reserva. Já em relação as instalações do quarto a pesar de pequena são novas e atendem bem no geral.

L'hôtel est situé dans un arrondissement très calme et sécurisé. Les chambres sont modernes, propres et on sent que la literie est de qualité, ce qui est un détail très important pour nous. Le personnel est vraiment d'une gentillesse remarquable. Le Cardinal sera notre hôtel repère lors de nos week-ends parisiens !

We booked a superior room thinking that it would be larger but to be honest, I'm not really sure what the difference is between the standard. We struggled to find room to keep one standard suitcase and the bathroom was quite cramped. The floor was also not completely clean when we arrived with glitter and broken sequins still on the floor plus there were some food items still left under the bed. It feels like this is operating as a newly opened hotel as they had run out of things and check in was very slow. They also charged our credit card after we left with an amount they have provided no description or response for even after we asked at check out if everything was settled which they confirmed it was. I would not stay here again.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing stay - Upon arrival, there had been a power outage we were not told about, and the lifts were not working so we had to carry our bags to the fourth floor using the stairs. We then found out there was no hot water and so couldn’t get ready for the evening as we had to leave. We had to make different arrangements just to be able to shower. There was also construction on going so from 8am we were woken by loud noise.

- Verified traveler (2/5): 4 star hotels now come with blocked toilets - When we arrived, we entered a building site with a makeshift desk to the desk. It looked nothing like the photos nor had we been aware that the hotel was being renovated. We wouldn’t have chosen it if that was the case. The construction work meant we were woken up early, with builders shouting, drilling, banging, meaning our relaxing stay in Paris was anything but. I went to ask reception if they could stop the works until we were up and out as my partner was still trying to sleep, to which they said they’d try but then nothing happened. Possibly the most disgusting part of the stay was the toilet. We arrived and it didn’t flush. We went downstairs and explained, said it needed seeing to asap. They wrote down our room number and said they’d look. No one did, for the 3 days we were there and we had to keep going out to the local cafe to use their toilets. It was GROSS. Not a 4 star hotel. AI generated photos. Staff unable to help.

- Jasmine (10/5): Perfect location, comfortable and great price. - Family trip for my husbands birthday. The hotel staff were soooo friendly and really welcoming. They even sang a birthday song to my husband on his birthday, so sweet! I booked one standard double and one twin room. The twin ended up being upgraded which was nice. Rooms were simple but comfortable. Small rooms - but this is normal for Paris. I will say however that the walls are quite thin, so we could hear noises from our neighbouring room. This wasnt really a problem, as it was our family's room. We did not hear noise from anyone elses room - only from the corridors in the morning, but people were generally polite and quiet. No noise from the outside or road, as the hotel is on a road that you cannot drive directly onto at all times, so this reduced noise from outside. Simple facilities, free coffee and tea and filtered water tap downstairs but a nice touches like a popcorn machine, pastries and a games room and other seating areas. Overall, would definitely recommend if you are planning on having somewhere to rest your head whilst you explore the city. But also quite lovely to relax in at night and had a good night sleep here. Its also in a very good location - so its very well worth the price. Would definitely stay again!!!!!!

- Ozan (4/5): - Unfortunately the Hotel is not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star hotel. We stayed in the triple room and it was not one of the newly renovated room. The furnitures were old and warn out, bathroom was terrible. Luckily the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the location was very good and hotel is in a Cul-de-sac so there was no outside noise. The Hotel needs renovation and one can find better 3 or 4 star hotels around Paris with more standard amenities. We will not stay there again.

The only problem with our stay was that the shower was not enclosed so very often the water would leak out from the shower and we the floor. I also didn’t like the smell that appeared to be coming from the bathroom. Otherwise, I loved the location of our hotel - it is very convenient to get to and from places. Lots of great places to eat and our place was lucky to be by two close supermarkets. Staff was very friendly.

Especially Corrinne who was super friendly to us and gave us great recommendations! The hotel was also fairly quiet and never heard any early morning cleaners etc which is great. It is located right near a bakery and local convenience store within less than 25 metres away as well as restaurants and bars!

- Shirley Ann (10/5): - I stayed with a friend for just over 3 weeks when volunteering for the Paralympic Games, we both felt that in choosing the Hotel le Cardinal we couldn't have done better. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful throughout our stay, responding quickly to any queries, and ensuring beforehand that we had the right type of room for us. The room was not huge, but was well equipped and comfortable, and had a little balcony with table and chairs looking out onto the street. It was very useful to have a mini fridge in the room and a safe. The location is great, the street is quiet but there are plenty of places to eat and socialise close by, and easy metro links to other parts of the city. We didn't take up the breakfast option due to our volunteer hours, so can't comment on that, but there is a great boulangerie just opposite. Am hoping to return again later in the year with my husband so we can have a Paris mini break together, it is a given that we will be staying at Hotel le Cardinal !
- Shafqat (10/5): - We had an excellent stay at Hotel Cardinal. Really liked the location, it's easy to get around. Lots of Restaurants and Cafes close by. It's walking distance to Montmartre and 20 mins on the Metro into the centre. Rooms were clean and hotel staff very helpful. There were some nice touches such as coffee machine. We didn't try the breakfast since they were so many options close by. Rooms were reasonable sized and it's a clean and safe locality.

I booked a single room and thought the single room had a queen bed. but it had a small tiny single bed. I asked the manager to change my room, I am a regular customer and she told me if I pay the difference she can change my room. I didn't pay the difference and even tho she had a room available, she didn't upgrade my room. I would never go back to this hotel.

- Christopher (10/5): - Great boutique hotel that’s in a quiet area but only minutes away from major metro stations and busy areas with great restaurants like pigalle, opera, and montmartre. Room was clean and modern and staff were very helpful and welcoming!
- Marisa (10/5): Very convenient Highly recommend - Quaint boutique hotel on a quiet street and very close to the Place de Clichy metro. There are lots of nearby restaurants and a really good bakery on the corner. The front desk staff was also very helpful in recommending local attractions. Highly recommended.

- Rodrigo (6/5): - Our stay at Hotel Lê Cardinal was ok. Corinne and the other receptionists were great and the fact that they also spoke English for our convenience was a plus. Location was also great too, lots of cafes and restaurants around the area and metro is close by. Now the bad, our first room was a problem, we were on the top floor and we got a weird window facing the back of the building when I saw lots of pictures of a nice double door window balcony, the room was tiny, the shower flooded when we showered, the hallways were about 30 inches wide (I’m not sure if this is because the building is old or if that’s how it is in France), there were no toiletries such as shower soap and conditioner, no hot iron, the closet in our first room was positioned in a way that we couldn’t get to the door because it was beside a wall, and the room was so tiny that there was barely any space for us to get around. After bringing up the issues we got a different room on the first floor, the room was not clean up to standard, it was a little bigger than the first room we got and after a couple of showers the shower flooded again, no toiletries in this one either besides the hand soap, lotion and shampoo, we had requested room service to get new towels and clean up a bit and when we got back we only noticed the bed was made, had to ask for new towels. If you rent a car, we had to pay €28 per day and park in a parking garage and walk for 10mins. Not the 4 star hotel experience I was expecting.

- Rajendra (10/5): - Quick friendly check in - helpful staff. Lovely, clean, bright room. A bit away from the main train station but we were able to walk it - should be quick by bus or subway. Short walking distance to the bus stops and two subway stations. Lots of restaurants and patisseries close by. Free ice cold sparkling and still water refills; free filter coffee station. No complaints. Highly recommend.
