- Abdullah (10/5): - It is a family owned property and converted to a hotel, they have 11 rooms with a private bathroom for each room and a common breakfast area. The family is highly taken care of their property and provide a home made delicious and fresh breakfast.Also, they provided me with a complimentary ticket to Dar El Annabi Museum at Sidi Bosaeeed. Just, be prepared as they only accept cash payments (no credit cards)

Easily walkable to Sidi bou said and la Marsa beach, lots of restaurant options nearby, and we also walked to Carthage which was incredible. Taieb helped us with restaurant reservations and taxis and recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. A true gem I will recommend to all my friends.
- James (10/5): Absolutely wonderful - This may well be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Taïeb is a wonderful person, who went out of his way to help make our stay perfect. From helping us to find restaurants and book day trips (ask for Mr Noureddine, by the way), to coming in on his evening off to make us a packed breakfast, when I mentioned we would be checking out early the next day, nothing was too much trouble for him. Sonia's cooking is fantastic, breakfast is a real highlight. The stories behind the house are fascinating, and don't miss out on the chance to visit their family home in Sidi Bou Said. We look forward to coming back!

- Kathleen (10/5): A Perfect Stay. No Need for Improvement, - This renovated mansion was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. 5-stars. The entire guest house was spotlessly clean. The bedding was luxurious. I slept so well in my room's comfortable king-sized bed. I thought there might be some noise staying in a large home, but it was so quiet because the rooms are well separated. The breakfast was incredible. So much food, eggs made to order, lovely baked goods - more than what we could have wanted. The home is family-run. Taieb and his mother Sonia were available for any questions and suggestions. The staff is amazing. They have a long family history tied back to Tunisia royalty. The history of the home's artifacts and furnishings is mind-boggling. The value for the money is fantastic. You can stay in a similar type property right in Sidi Bou Said, but you will be paying 3x as much. Dar Ennassim is in a nice neighborhood. It is walkable to tourist attractions in the area, but some are a longer walk. Thankfully, Bolt (like Uber) is available. We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend this property

The place is run by a well educated, well established family, who will tell you about their interesting history and of the place. If you are in Tunisia for the first time, they will give you many helpful tips to get around. There is much thought in the design of the rooms and common areas.

Hospitality and service was outstanding. Breakfasts were sumptuous and cooked to order, including homemade jams. It is conveniently located to restaurants, parks, and coffee shops. On any future visit, Dar Ennassim will be our first lodging choice.
- Kevin (10/5): Great stay in La Marsa - We loved our time at Dar Ennassim. We were staying there only one night but would’ve enjoyed staying longer. The building is extremely well designed and the owner was great. Our room had great city views. The location was nice — it’s in walking distance of Sidi Bou Said and was also pretty close to the beach (which we didn’t take advantage of since we visited during winter). Would highly recommend!

The most important part of my stay was the attention provided by Taieb the manager whether it was help with finding a tour guide or when a where to have breakfast everything ran smooth and I felt like my patronage was valued. - John (10/5): A delightful Inn - Nicely located, within easy walking distance of Sidi Bou Said, the beach, shopping and the train station for service to Tunis, the Inn is an attractive and comfortable place to stay. I was given the Amilcar Room, a 4th floor room with a wonderful balcony and view. From what I could see, all the rooms looked lovely. Overall, the inn was large, had plenty of sitting areas, inside and out, upstairs and down throughout. There were restaurants nearby and breakfast was excellent. The hosts were accommodating, helpful and friendly. I will certainly stay again during my next visit to or near Tunis.

The rooms and suites are all designed with typical traditional Tunisian furniture. The small pool and lounge/tanning area on the roof with chilling music is very relaxing. The location of the guest house is perfect: you can enjoy the buzz of shops and cafes/restaurants of the city while being minutes away from the beaches and tourist sites and museums too. It is run by an extremely friendly family whose heritage is well anchored in Tunisia’s history. Will definitely return there!

Taieb and all the members of the family are great hosts and personally take care of you. I reached the property after midnight and they personally let me in. The facilities, and the view from the propery is amazing, as are the staff.

It maintains a grand and absolutely exquisite Tunisian style and and architecture while situating you in one of the best and most convenient neighborhoods in all of Tunis. The staff are friendly and kind and the owners are incredible. A real treat in every way. Stylish and cozy at the same time. I cannot recommend highly enough. Homemade breakfasts every morning were an added perk. From top to bottom this grand house is well thought out and perfectly executed.

This beautiful mansion was one of the most gorgeous places we have ever stayed, and my husband and I have traveled the world. We didn't know about this Riad and was shocked that they had a rooftop pool with a view of the city. Our room had an in room jaccuzzi (they call it a hammam), along with wonderful other amenities. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. They are so happy to accommodate. Customer service is top notch with a homey feel. You will not regret it.

The host told us about the story behind all the details and the building of the house. It’s located in a nice clean city area of La Marsa. Very close to Sidi Bou Said, gammarth and Carthage. The proprietors were welcoming and the staff did an outstanding job of caring for our room and serving us at breakfast. Each morning began with a decadent array of choices— omelettes, pasteries, breads, jams, fruit— that were served on a terrace with a breathtaking view of La Marsa. The owners of Dar Ennassim are fantastic and ensured that we had everything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was definitely a highlight, with the homemade jams and cooked-to-order breakfast.

- D (10/5): - A home from home environment but with the hotel experience. My second time to Tunisia and I would definitely come back here again knowing the hotel is right near the main airport in Carthage and is very close to all the historical areas, all can be done by car or the local train that takes you into Tunis itself. Very friendly staff are there to help you, making your experience that much more pleasant. The breakfast is all home made and all foods are fresh including their home made juices and fresh dates. Highly recommend anyone hoping their first experience of Tunisia will not be their last.
- Carol (10/5): - The hotel was magnificent, decorated in beautiful traditional Tunisian style and run by a lovely family, who greeted us at the beginning, showed us round, and could not have been more helpful. We were even invited to visit their family's museum in Sidi Bousaid, the original home of their grandparents. Our room was beautiful, and spacious, including a huge bed. Where else could you get a lovely full traditional breakfast with a choice of eggs too? Everything was more than perfect. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
- Paul (10/5): Charming local style hotel - Dar Ennassim is ticked away in La Marsa, the hotel has rooms in Arabic/Tunisian style, with a lot of charm, matched by the owners and staff. Good location, very nice people.
- Anton (10/5): A hidden diamond - All of the below is my personal opinion: An excellent stay. This was literally one of the best experiences I have had abroad and far better than a traditional hotel stay. - The family is very kind, welcoming, and helpful. - The room was very clean and the bedding (sheets / pillows / mattress) were superb - The breakfast was excellent and fit for a king! - The views from the terrace were great and provided a nice oasis of peace to relax - The location is great; short walk to grocery stores, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, and key roads where one can hail a cab easily. Plus there are a few ice cream shops very close and ideal for those hot summer days - I will definitely visit Tunis again. I will definitely stay here again. Just a general note, this was my first visit to Tunis. I read online before visiting that one should be careful, watching what they eat, the water, safety, and a whole slew of other things which could make one lose sleep at night with worry. In my view and experience, reality could not be farther from what was written online. The people of Tunisia are incredibly kind and helpful, but as anywhere - street smarts are important. The food is amazing. The water, I had no problem (but then again I didn't drink from the stream or tap but taking a shower or brushing the teeth was all fine for me and I drank bottle water - which is plentiful). Tunis is a beautiful city and very affordable compared to some other destinations. I cannot wait to visit again.
- Jenny (10/5): Boutique hotel on outskirts of Tunis - Boutique hotel on outskirts of Tunis lovely hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced. You share with other guests at a table but everything is individually cooked to order and is really beautiful he served and great tasting Staff are friendly . This is a family run hotel and the son who speaks English perfectly pick this up at the airport and took care of any needs.
