Guest Reviews

- Carla (10/5): Pleasant and peaceful - The breakfast was lovely both in presentation and taste. The owners were very accommodating as I had to leave early in the morning and had my breakfast ready earlier than they usually serve the meal.
The bath facilities provided multiple amenities . The location of the ryokan is very picturesque ; lush forest surrounding the small town .

- Thanunya (8/5): The place is beautiful and definitely worth the price - The owners are incredibly warm and friendly - both the husband and the wife are lovely. The service was excellent all staff very helpful. There’s a cozy common area and plenty of manga to read. The place is beautiful and definitely worth the price. The only issues were that the electric kettle was very dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned. The lighting in the room was quite dim

- Tanin (9/5): -
- Yasuhiro (7/5): - Spacious room. Outdoor hot spring wasn’t warm and kind of rundown.
Nothing around there even coffee or snacks.

- Niken (10/5): Excellent stay - The room setup, the location (surrounded by nature). The staff were super friendly, trying to help us with dinner etc. nothing
- Julius (10/5): - Bestes Essen einfach super Alles top

- Kathy (8/5): Glad I went! - I was very happy to have a true Japanese experience! The surroundings were a beautiful wintery scene. The staff made us feel very much at home. The onsen was wonderful! I was very cold. There were less than 10 guests in the hotel, so the heat was only on in our room and the dining room. The place is large.
- Tsz (10/5): Nice hotel and nice service, worth to stay with dinner & breakfast to release - Private and public hot spring both are amazing Network may a bit hard to connect even with SIM card
- Allysha (10/5): Exceptional -

- Cohen (9/5): Perfect for anyone looking for a traditional Japanese experience. - A lovely, family-style place to stay!
We arrived on a super rainy day, got a bit lost, and got off at the wrong station, but the hosts came right away to pick us up.
The service was awesome and friendly, and the food was delicious and thoughtful.
Perfect for anyone looking for a traditional Japanese experience.
Highly recommend! No WiFi on the rooms
- Diana (7/5): Good - The breakfast is quite nice.
The staff was helpful in providing the information on how we could take the bus to Kamikochi.
We rented a car so we just drove to bus terminal.
If you are taking public transportation, this hotel may not be a good choice as you will need to take a bus to the bus terminal to take the bus to Kamikochi. The location is out of no where & there are really nothing nearby.
For what we get I find the room rate on the high side.
We did not take dinner there & had difficulty finding an eating place.
If you book with dinner that the rate is really not that cheap.
- Yariv (8/5): Very good - 8 mins drive from Hirayo Onsen, Kamikochi. Great Onsen experience, including a private one. Challenge in reserving Dinner.
Bileda are uncomfortable, but this is what a real Ryokan experience
- Sandy (10/5): The owners and staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They made dinner reservations at a local restaurant fo - The traditional room designs. The futon beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a banquet of fresh foods and enjoyed in a private room. The easy access to the 3 private onsen was such a treat after a long day of sightseeing. Nothing!
- Navarog (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonnel (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was great and very helpful owners. The onsen offered has ability for private use with very little fuss about booking. Would highly recommend! There was no air conditioning. Not that it needed in our stay though. There was heating. Wifi not available in the rooms.
