• Yan Ying (10/5): Charming room in the centre of Naarden Vesting - The Bedstead was one of the best room I've had in all my hotel experience, very cosy and charming, tastefully decorated with all the modern comfort and technology. The building was very well maintained, and perfectly located right in the middle of the town and next to the Grote Kerk. We also had a very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. Everything was great.

• Carolien (9/5): Een heerlijk verblijf in een sfeervolle accomodatie, aanrader! Geweldig Italiaans restaurant schuin aan de overkant (Inc - De prachtige sfeer in de suite. Een heerlijk ligbad op de vide, dubbele douche in de badkamer.Lekkere verzorgingsproducten van Aesop, verwenmoment! De haard maakt het af. Kleine dingetjes: Op de dag van vertrek werd er al voor de uitchecktijd op de deur geklopt door de schoonmaakploeg. Dat voelde wat opgejaagd en niet zo prettig. Geen stopcontact bij de wastafels in de badkamer (in model föhnen voor de spiegel is fijn).

• Kristine (8/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar! - Mooie kamer, vriendelijk personeel. Goed gelegen, en met restaurant. Parkeergelegenheid: we moesten een paar straten verder zoeken naar een plaats. We konden geen venster openen in de kamer Het ontbijt, dat geserveerd werd, was te overvloedig.

• Roos (9/5): Prima! - Hele leuke sfeervolle kamer! Prachtig pand, lekker eten om de hoek. Persoonlijk vond ik het licht heel slecht bij de spiegel om je op te maken. En wat we jammer vonden we moesten de volgende ochtend heel vroeg weg 7.00 uur om te werken en hadden de avond ervoor 2 smoothies gevraagd die klaar zouden staan de bananaberry geloof ik. Wij vol enthousiasme de volgende dag naar de keuken en dat was dus niet gelukt. Ja dat is dan echt zo'n klein missertje wat je verblijf tot excellent maakt.

The whole bathroom becomes wet if you take a shower due to the divider between the shower and the toilet not really having an effect.

• Irina (6/5): - Locatie Het is heel donker in de kamer, het is bijna onmogelijk om makeup te doen. Je hebt alleen maar een licht schakelaar bij de deur die alle grote licht bedient. Geen grote spiegel (passpiegel) aanwezig.

• Olivier (5/5): Restaurant is good, Hotel is overrated. - Vesting Hotel in the old-town of Naarden is a place with character and history. The building is old and beautiful on the outside. On the inside, everything is modern and done with minimalistic design. The restaurant is good and dishes are plentiful for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel room was insufficiently appointed. The Hotel does not deserve 4-Star rating !!! While the room was large, and the double-bed was very comfortable, all other elements in the room were sooo minimalistic and roughly finished that you have the impression it is neither clean nor comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, and the room is entirely painted in dark grey colour (you cannot see if it is clean) with a total lack of useful furniture (no table, no desk, insufficient chairs, no bright lighting, thin (cheap) towels, no decent coat-hangers, etc. Besides, there is NO SERVICE DESK. The only service staff are the same young ladies who also serve in the restaurant, and while they are friendly, they seem unaware of what the Hotel-section is all about. All booking and check-in, as well as the room entry key is to be done online and using your smart-phone. It is obvious, costs are cut to a minimum, and therefore, this hotel deserves at most a 3-star rating. Hence, the room price is too high. While we have annual family visits in the neighbourhood, we will not go to this hotel again.

• Dick (6/5): Prima hotel/café op uitstekende lokatie - lokatie is erg goed. service en bediening zijn goed. gelukkig was er een losse heater in de kamer! De koffie was heel erg goed. De bar- en eetruimte is gezellig en harmonisch. De (lucht)verwarming op de kamer is onvoldoende; bij aankomst was de kamer ca. -10 C. De lieft is klein en uiterst traag. Het ontbijt was redelijk maar niet op niebeau 4 sterren... De prijzen zijn te hoog voor het gebodene.

• Caren (5/5): Het was oké - Heerlijk kerstontbijt gehad! De kamer was intens koud en niet warm te krijgen. Verwarming badkamer deed het niet waardoor die ruimte ook erg koud was.

• Elvy (9/5): Genoten! - De locatie was geweldig. Middenin het centrum. Erg gezellig! Het hotel was prachtig. Van buiten een bijzonder mooi historisch pand en van binnen luxe maar toch met behoud van de gezelligheid. Sanitair was erg schoon en de kamer comfortabel We hebben niet heel goed geslapen omdat we de kamer niet koel kregen. Dat was jammer. De airco kon niet lager gezet worden dan een stand die nog steeds erg warm was, waardoor we met het hele gezin wakker werden in de nacht in een warme droge kamer.

• Lotte (8/5): Super! - De gezellige ruime kamer en de prettige badkamer met fijne douche De mensen die in de nacht nogal wat Lawaai om het hotel maakten. Het was ook zaterdag dus vandaar. Begrijpelijk maar daardoor een paar keer wakker geworden.
• Jeffrey (9/5): A lovely place; I would like to go back. - The hotel is in a wonderful situation in the middle of the old and preserved centre of Naarden.it is small; but it houses its space extremley well. The room was small but wholly adequate; the bed was very comfortable. The food was very good. It is not cheap; but prices in Holland are high and by those standards value was good

• Elisabeth (10/5): Helemaal prima verblijf! - het restaurant beneden was gezellig en helemaal prima voor alles waar wij behoefte aan hadden, zowel qua lunch, ontbijt als borrel 's avonds. Kamers waren niet groot maar gezellig en efficiënt ingericht. Heerlijke bedden, mooie ambiance. niets, er was een misverstand over de betaling. Zat uiteindelijk bij mij maar werd van hun kant heel goed behandeld.

• Bob (9/5): Fijn hotel met goed - Wat een fijn hotel!! Ontvangst en verzorging waren prima in orde. Kamer was tiptop. Goed bed. Badkamer met regendouche en toilet met bidetfunctie, leuk! Het restaurant is gezellig en met goede keuze uit betaalbare gerechten. Superteam van jonge mensen in keuken en bediening. Ontbijt weliswaar aan de prijs maar wel veel waar voor het geld. Nou, omdat het gevraagd wordt, de lift neemt de tijd voor 2 etages, maar onthaasten is ook weer positief. Er is ook een trap ;-)
