- Verified traveler (4/5): - Dar Rhimou's facilities are limited and basic. Most of the amenities it claims to have are sadly not true. There is no reception, no front desk, no restaurant or coffee shop/cafe, no room service. The one positive is the very kind owner/host, but unfortunately a nice owner does not make up for poor accommodation. The cleanliness standards were low and the bed linen was tired, old and mismatched. It did not feel like a guest house, it was more like a home-stay. The location was in a dark, narrow alleyway in the Medina and it did not feel safe.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Excellent accueil mais mal situé - Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants et très chaleureux. Nous avons eu un accueil exceptionnel. Le confort dans les chambres est minimaliste. Le soir il faisait très froid et le Riad n'est pas chauffé. Notre chambre était équipée d'une douche uniquement que nous pouvions utiliser après une attente d'une heure et demie pour que l'eau soit chaude. Le Riad est situé en plein milieu de la médina ancienne sans aucune indication pour le trouver. La médina est un labyrinthe dans laquelle nous nous sommes perdu à plusieurs reprises pour trouver le Riad.
- Jerry (8/5): Value for money. Read full review - I believe there are two components to a great hotels stay: 1) the hospitality (service) 2) The product (the stay itself). Dar Rhimou got everything right for the first one and some of it right for the second. Now, if you are a carefree, solo traveler who looks for cheap and safe accommodation, this is your place. But on the other hand, if you are about the surroundings, you may have to rethink about staying a hotel outside medina. To be fair, all riads and hostels inside the medina has some long dark alleyways leading up to them. For Dar Rhimou, it is not different. I found it very hard to locate the place, but I had help from a local store to find it finally. My recommendation is to call the owner/manager in advance who will make arrangements to guide you. The guy is really nice. The stay itself was calm and pleasant. Yes, there is a lot of work remaining before calling it a finished product. But nevertheless, the bed was comfy and nobody disturbed me during the sleep. I was content.
