• Rymsza (10/5): - Very clean and quiet, spacious room, good breakfast, very comfortable bed, pretty close to the station, most of all it's run by a wonderfully kind and nice lady.
• Nenad (10/5): - It's probably my favourite stay in Japan. Machiko-san is such a wonderful and nice host. I really appreciate the conversations we had and how she runs the hostel. It feels like home, it's clean and comfortable. I arrived by bicycle and i could park it under the roof, which was very nice. If i ever come back, i'll definitely stay here again.
• TAM (9/5): We felt satisfied about our room, the location, the breakfast the host made for us etc... - We like breakfast that the host made. We also like the hostel location that nearby the famous places, such as Arakura Fuji Senqen Shrine, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Street. Most importantly, the host was very kind, polite and helpful woman. When we check-out, the host made a special gift for us, and wish good health ,good luck, and happiness for us. We felt surprises and touching, it's one of the memorable memories in our Japan trips. We will never forget this.

• Linda Manuela (10/5): Excelente ubicación y confort cerca a Chureito Pagoda. - La ubicación es perfecta si quieres madrugar a ver Chureito Pagoda, la casa es muy linda y las habitaciones pequeñas pero lindas con todo lo que necesitas, muy calientitas y las camas cómodas. Lo único que podría mejorar es la cantidad de duchas disponibles (solo había 1 por lo que preferimos bañarnos la noche anterior para evitar congestiones en la mañana, pero no tuvimos problema con eso).

La localisation ( proche de la gare, de la pagode, de la rue principale …) était parfaite, le lit confortable et toutes les pièces étaient très propres. Je recommande fortement !

• Bianca (10/5): Homely and cozy stay - Lovely, cozy place to stay at after a day out in the snow. The room was spacious for 2 people and was very warm. Bed was very comfortable. A lovely breakfast was included. In a great location only about a 8-10 min walk from the station and easily walkable to Chureito Pagoda, which was highlight of the trip.

• Kirsty Rebecca (10/5): A home away from home! - Hostel Mt Fuji was a fantastic stay. We felt really relaxed, and loved the dining area with free tea and coffee. Our room was also very comfortable, and well kept. The showers and toilets are really clean, and there are sinks and mirrors for getting ready. It was by far the most at home we felt on our trip. The owner is very kind, and helpful. She helped us with restaurant recommendations, bus timetables and sightseeing spots. She also gave us her WhatsApp number if we couldn’t find her and needed anything else. Excellent hospitality! I would highly recommend Hostel Mt Fuji 😊 N/A

• Dayane (10/5): Simples, limpo e acolhedor. - Limpeza impecável, sempre que retornávamos após passar o dia fora, o hostel estava muito cheiroso, tudo limpinho. • Dennis (7/5): Rustig hostel - Schoon hostel met zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Hostel is zeer basic maar wat ze aanbieden is schoon. Ontbijt in de morgen is goed, mocht je langer hier blijven kan het eentonig worden. Het hostel ligt beetje uit de buurt van maar binnen enkele minuten ben je wel bij een station. binnen 10 min. zijn er winkels 1 a 2 nachtjes prima, langer zou ik het niet doen NVT

The place was calm, comfortable and clean and the owner is so sweet, thoughtful and helpful. She recommended some amazing restaurants and helped us out with whatever we wanted to do. The hostel has a parking space and is located at a walking distance from shops, restaurants and the station.

The place was super clean, bed was comfortable and location was ideal if you need to get to mt. Fuji station and surroundings. The host was super friendly and welcoming and gave us great tips! Check in a bit on the late side. But didn’t lessen the experience at all otherwise

Un peu loin des transports en commun. Good stay, only thing that's lacking is luggage storage. Service is rather good, the lady who welcomes us is quite nice. A little far from public transportation.
• Aya (10/5): Would recommend in a heartbeat for anyone for the Fuji hike or otherwise. - We stayed at Hostel Fukuya for 2 nights this summer to hike up Mt. Fuji. We made it to the 7th point! To put it in a few words, the stay was absolutely charming, wonderfully pleasant, and we are 100% certain we will return for our next hike to the summit. The room and the common area are spotless and well-thought out for the guests' comfort and convenience. The location is a brief walk from a local train stop, one can even see Mt. Fuji from the window. Having a young child, home-made breakfast and having someone so knowledgeable to ask questions about the area was very much appreciated. The hostess is bilingual and told us everything we needed to know about hiking the mountain. She enforces house rules with respect, which made the cohabiting pleasant and led us to meet the other guests and engaged in lively conversation at the breakfast table. I'd recommend this establishment in a heartbeat for anyone who comes to the area for the hike or otherwise.

• Tamás (10/5): A beautiful experience - The host is really nice and helpful, fluent in English. There are bus schedules and other tourist information available at the reception. The appliances also have usage instruction stickers in English. The surroundings are, of course, beautiful. With nearby bus and train stations, great starting point for exploring the area and Mt. Fuji itself. The Fujiyoshida Fire Festival is also worth checking out. Breakfast was also delicious. I would come back.

The rooms are new and beautifully decorated. The place is extremely clean and the host is amazing. She's so helpful and so knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend you to stay here. There's nothing I didn't like.

• Tucker (10/5): Exceptional - The Lady who owns the Hostel was extremely sweet. She genuinely seems to care about the guests there and even helped me find a shorter way to Kyoto on my way out. The rooms are tatami style and quite lovely. I especially love the pillows as it's hard to find ones stiff enough for my neck without being a rock. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. I recommend anyone to give this place a shot if visiting the area.
• Krystian (9/5): Very nice place, I recommend. - The owner was very friendly and kept the place clean and organized. Rooms had tatami with little daruma stitching on them and were very cozy. The owner made breakfast for all the guests If I had to find something that I did not like. One window didn't fully close so it was too cold to sleep without a duvet, but the duvet was so warm that I had to choose between it being too cold or too hot when sleeping. But again, maybe it was only my thing. Also the night light had a lightbulb that was very cold in color

• Oussama (10/5): Safe Haven - The hostel felt very homey and peaceful. It is perfect for resting after a long day of exploring. Machiko-san was an amazing host. She established easy to understand guidelines that promote the peacefulness and cleanliness of the hostel. She made sure we had everything we needed and even went above and beyond by giving useful tips for transportation in Japan. There were pamphlets on our bedroom pointing the way to the culinary and artisanal specialties of Fujiyoshida, which we really appreciated. The common room really promotes exchanges between travelers during meals and the complimentary coffee, tea and breakfast were delicious. We would definitely come back !!

• Phoenix (8/5): Very good - Great location with a free parking spot. Friendly personnel :) Rules, a lot of rules for everything :) The walls are quite thin, so just be aware of that. There is a curfew from 23 o'clock, and you are also not allowed to stay on the property between 10 and 14, which can become uncomfortable if you are planning to stay for a few days.
