- Leon (8/5): Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable bed. - Conveniently located. It was easy to get transport to and from the lodge and the staff were very friendly, especially the Barman who we interacted with the most! 😊 (didn’t get his name) rooms were just what we expected, clean and tidy. We stayed in the triple room. We will visit and stay here again in the hopefully near future! The breakfast was good too. We had no major issues really apart from the power cut which didn’t last and quite common in Zimbabwe

- Jochen (8/5): Vrey conventient (and reasonably priced) place for a visit to the falls. - Very friendly staff, excellent support with tour organization, good location in qiet area, still not too far from the falls. Good restaurant a few steps away, just around the corner. Wonderful bar with outstandingly friendly barkeeper. The room a little on the compact side, we'd probably go for a better category next time. Owner's representative does not really seem to care about his staff (nor about the guests, for that matter) but that is only our subjective view.

I had to request for my refund several times using my data and that wasn't good for me. I am asking them to let people know that they can rather make payment on arrival.

- Nathalie (8/5): Un peu déçus par le choix de cet hôtel - Le rapport qualité /prix est correct. La chambre était grande, le lit aussi. L’hôtel est loin du centre. On peut s’y rendre à pied si on est marcheur sinon ça vous coûte entre 5 et 10$ à chaque trajet. Notre chambre donnait sur le salon du bar du coup nous avons laissé les rideaux fermés en permanence. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen. Pour le dîner il y a 2 menus 10 et 13$, pas terrible pour le prix. Notre taxi nous avait proposé le tour en hélicoptère à 160$ par personne, ils n’ont pas voulu s’aligner sur ce tarif, de ce fait nous n’avons pas prix les services qu’ils proposaient.

- Jolandie (9/5): Wonderful and we were treated like family!! - It feels less like home and not a place that is only in the business for money. When you come back from a day out your room is clean and tidy again, with fresh towels Also the coffee station is as a big YAY for us! They made my husband’s birthday such a nice day and all the staff interested in how his day was and if he enjoyed it! He felt so special. Maybe a light at the mirror table will help us ladies a lot. But not too serious, the bathroom mirrors also works perfectly!

The breakfast was great and the bartender, Richard, is a wonderful conversationalist, who rounded out our evenings, making our stay very special.

- Debi (1/5): Done as soon as we could find alternative accomodation. - We took one look at the room and left the property. They did not mis advertise but alluded to the fact that there was a garden and BBQ facilities available for guest use. This was definitely not the case.

- kim (9/5): Tranquil location Excellent value for money. - A lovely affordable lodge. Nice room and a very quiet location. Pool, garden, bar and spa facilities. Laundry available at excellent rates. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Arranged my sunset tour and had a great much needed massage after my travels. Staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and looked after me very well. Excellent security. There isn't anything nearby and so always needed a cab to travel into town which adds a small cost. Worth it for the tranquillity of being on the edge of town and more than covered by the savings on the daily rates and other facilities which can cost a lot more if in a central location.

- Storm (7/5): It is convinient and comfortable. Would stay again. - Lovely Garden. Tasty food at restaurant. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Good laundry service. The shower facilities were badly designed and the whole bathroom was sopping wet after even a brief shower. The urn at the 24 hour coffee station was constantly set to a low temperature and took 45 mins to heat up to correct temp. Maybe a kettle for after hours service would be more convenient. We kept our curtains closed as our windows directly faced a row of rooms across the way. A one way type of tint would be nice, for privacy. The rooms are a little run down. Lovely comfy bed and nice linen, but the bedrooms and bathrooms definitely need a bit of TLC

- Hove-Munyika (9/5): Overall a good place, I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone planning to visit VF - The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and generous portions. All our rooms had working Aircons and that made our stay more comfortable. Our rooms were quite spacious, clean and accommodated our family comfortably. The place is very beautiful and serene inside and outside, it exceeded our expectations, the current pictures are not doing justice. The staff we had during our stay (Elton & Mary) were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Also a big thank you to the cleaners, who also made sure that all our rooms were spotless and replenished with all essentials through out. A very good place for travellers with children. Though we communicated checking in 2 hours after their check-in time, our room was not ready when we arrived, but that was quickly resolved while we waited in the kids room. Our rooms had no fridges, but again this was resolved, Elton brought in one to store some perishables for our child who has his own special diet. Other than that, they do provide hot and cold water at the restaurant and it's accessible to everyone at any time.

- Robert (8/5): - Hervorragendes Frühstück (ca. 7 Auswahlmöglichkeiten). Lage der Lodge zwar ca. 4-5 km von den Wasserfällen entfernt, dafür aber vornehme Nachbarschaft. 30 US$ p. P. p. N. ist voll oK (wir waren zu Dritt und bekamen 5-Bett-Zimmer). Pool sauber. Reuchlich Handtücher und Badeutensilien. Leider fehlte ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Auch Nachttischlampen und Tresor (vielleicht nicht zwingend erforderlich?) fehlten. Der Fußboden im Bad bestand aus blankem Beton. Hier hätten Fliesen das Ambiente deutlich angehoben.

- William (10/5): A lodge with a 24 hr pool. - The room was spacious and the bed was confortable. The bathroom facilities were a plus too. It was a 50 min walk into the area with all the tourist things. Or, a 10 minute drive at 5-7.00 USD. If you don’t mind the distance this is a perfect place.

- Helen (7/5): Fantastic staff, who made us feel very welcome in Vic Falls. - Extremely helpful, friendly staff; they also organised activities and transport very efficiently. Very comfy beds. Relaxing bar area and lovely small swimming pool. The on-site staff quickly solved any issues with the accommodation. A quiet venue, with lovely trees and planting. Full payment was taken SIX weeks before arrival, which was not pre-arranged. The 'restaurant' menu and general catering provisions were slightly below expectations, but adequate; the on-site staff were great. The bathrooms were in need of some maintenance and weren't fully equipped.

- Cindy (9/5): Lovely place away from helicopter noises! - The room had a fabulous mural and very comfortable bed. The staff were so lovely, especially Robert. We had drinks in the bar and played cards in the evening. The other guests were very nice also. We were told it is better not to be right in town because the helicopters start over the falls early, and don't stop. This place is a pleasant walk into town, seeing baboons and mongoose on the way! We were worried about the feedback because somebody had said it was noisy. There were no rowdy groups there when we were there, and the staff were managing the place very well. Nothing to worry about!

- Lázaro (7/5): Overall, the hotel has great potential, especially thanks to the staff and the comfort of the rooms, but a few improveme - The staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The room was beautiful, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was good and quite generous. There were daily power outages, which became a bit inconvenient. There was no hair dryer in the room, and to get to town you always need a taxi, which costs about USD 10 each way. In my room, the air conditioning kept acting up and would suddenly get warm during the night. The dinner options were also very limited.

- laurent (7/5): It was nice stay - The key of one bedroom was stuck. We had to change room. But this was a minor issue anyways The bar closes too early in the evening. There was a manhole access by the pool that was not secured. Just a tile put on top of it making the walk around the swimming pool unsafe especially for the kids.

Han hade inte tillräckligt med växel så skulle betala oss nästa dag. Men "glömde" det. Skickade en annan kille att köra oss. Blev även lurade av barmannen på hotellet. Vår vän borde fått tillbaka pengar. Vi är väl naiva men alla trevliga. Sammanlagt försvann 50dollar.
